Alexa was curious as to what kind of question would the mom person ask, or why they all wanted to bully big brother. Alexa... didn't think he deserved that much hate, he was just a silly little guy!
Alexa knew that better than anyone!
"It's a promise..."
[Eleanore] said on the other side of the TV screen,
"Under the blessing from the ancient library... ask your question and they shall be answered."
Then, as the eyes of [Eleanore] shone in azure light, the illusion of a series of bookshelves seemed to materialize behind her, and further behind her, an illusory three-headed doggy looked down on them.
Even though Alexa knew that they were far away (As the map they showed before said), the doggy looked as if it wanted them pats, Alexa would pat that doggy one day...
"... Did Alexanders Saintsworths have a sister?" The mom person asked first. Her eyes turned to Alexa at the last point.
"Alexanders Saintsworths was born as the single son of Thaddeus Saintsworths and Callista Saintsworths."
[Eleanore] answered, then behind her a book moved forward and opened in front of her,
"Nontheless, Alexanders Saintsworths has a twin sister in Alexa Saintsworths."
Yes, Alexa nodded at that statement. Because that was the Truth.
"...That is impossible," Aunty Viv said, "Either he has a sister, or he doesn't have one, more so. How can a five year old be her twin?"
"The question was answered, and the World can bear witness."
[Eleanore] stated plainly,
"With mana as proof I can guarantee this is the truth."
Both the mom person and Aunty Viv seemed to stop at that.
"...What is the truth behind Alexa showing up here?" The mom person asked next.
"Alexa was send to her [Home] by Alexandra Saintsworths. Akasha determined that her [Home] hasn't materialized, so she was sent to the closest spot available that fulfilled the requirements."
[Eleanore] answered, and another book moved forward and started floating beside the previous one.
So Alexa was really sent here by Alexandra...
Then as if to realize something, the Mom person turned to look at Aunty Viv, Aunty Viv didn't say anything or move differently.
"Is Alexanders responsible for the suffering that the orphans go through in those inhuman experiments?" The Mom person asked in a low voice, "I'm sorry for having you here Alexa, but... I am a believer that one needs to know."
"No,"
[Eleanore] answered as a third book moved forward,
"Alexanders Saintsworths has not started any facility which did human experimentation, and all that he has encountered have been dismantled, by the definition that you have. Alexanders Saintsworths is [Innocent]."
"... I find that hard to believe," Aunty Viv said from the side, "I know of at least two facilities that he knew of, and those only got closed a month after he found about them."
"That is an answer I can't give,"
[Eleanore] said snapping her fingers and the three books that moved forward fell to the floor as the bookshelf behind her started to disintegrate,
"Three questions were made, three questions were answered."
That sounded... convenient.
"Wait!" The mom person screamed as she grabbed the big TV and shook it, "I haven't asked all I wanted!"
"... Did you get something useful?"
[Eleanore] asked as she fell to her knees panting,
"... please tell me you got something, I feel like I lost half a decade just now..."
"What do you mean?" Aunty Viv asked as she swiped her hand from left to right, Alexa glared at the space in front of Aunty Viv, but got nothing.
"[Albireo: We can transmit the Saintsworths SO visualization perms. Do you wish for that?]"
That would be a "Yes!" Alexa said as blue screens started materializing around Aunty Viv and the mom person.
"Using that shaves away at my Core, the more questions I answer, the less density my core retains, the more I will struggle to move forward."
[Eleanore] said struggling to stand up,
"And there are some theories... [The Theater Master] theorizes that my Core doesn't pry the true from what I answer as much as solidify it. Whatever that means."
"What we got from it isn't useful, at all." The mom person said sighing, "And I doubt it's true, but we confirmed that Alexanders was born a single son to the patriarch and matriarch of the Saintsworths. And yet he has a twin sister in Alexa."
"Also, he didn't start any initiative to do human experimentation... Going by the metrics of Miriam." Aunty Viv said, "Does this mean something to you? 'By the definition that you have.' As that was what you used to answer our doubts."
"...Damned hells, I told you!"
[Eleanore] grumbled,
"My power at its base uses me as metric to answer the questions, all that I know or have access around me is used."
"But we asked things outside of that." The mom person pointed, "And you said it would answer our questions with absolute truth."
"Yes, the answer is probably true."
[Eleanore] said sighing,
"But the issue is the question and the one who asked. 'By the definition that you have.' Implies that it used Miriam as a base, by the definition of her values. Meaning, that from other people's point of view. Alexanders is evil."
"But that is perspective!" Alexa pointed out, "As Ale says, 'The devil is in the details!' If the mom person didn't give Alexa mango pancakes, then the mom person would be evil to Alexa! But that doesn't mean she would be a baddie to Aunty Viv!"
Perspective was important!
Alexa knew that better than anyone, because it was thanks to that perspective that she got the bestestest of sisters...
"...right." The mom person said nodding, "You are right Alexa."
"I still don't know what she said,"
[Eleanore] chimed from the side,
"But whatever, anything else for me? Or can I go pass away?"
"That would be all," Aunty Viv said nodding, "When can we ask again?"
"...Give me at least half a year to recover, but if our tests are to be believed. Next time you will have less questions to ask, unless you can provide information that the guardian of knowledge needs."
[Eleanore] said sighing,
"Give my regards to Alexa, and I'll pass the message that she is good. You can give us contact information if you wish for us to pick her up, or straight up send her to us."
And like that, the call was cut and the feed on the big screen ended.
"Will she be fine?" The mom person said turning to Aunty Viv.
"Yes, her vitals stabilized after she fell to her knees." Aunty Viv said dismissing one of the blue screens, now all the blue screens only showed Alexa's vitals and the data streams within the laboratory.
Even if that one missed one data stream, that was the one going to Alexa!
"What do you make of that?" The mom person said, walking towards Alexa and lifting her up, Alexa got them uppies! "Can we trust the answers?"
"Probably," Aunty Viv said raising her hand and doing a motion as if she was rewinding something on the air, as she moved her hand, the screen started to rewind. Stopping in an image of [Eleanore] with the doggie behind her, "She is obviously a Mythic Core user, and those are somewhat more strict with their vows. Also look here, Albireo, can you clean this part?"
"[Cleaning]"
Aunty Viv had pointed at a point behind [Eleanore] roughly above the doggie. The image zoomed there and then a secondary image showed itself, one from a side. The image slowly was becoming more clear, and there it was.
"A sword?" The mom person said confused.
A sword?
Wasn't that...
"[Damocles' Sword.]"
Ale whispered from within the mindscape.
"[Who's sword?]"
Alexa send back to the midnscape thingy,
"[Ale are you okay now?]"
It hadn't been that long since Ale was sent to rest after all.
"Probably either the result of that application of her Core power, the promise and vow thing we got in the database." Aunty Viv said, pulling the relevant information to one of the blue floating screens around her, "It is commonly known that Cerberus can detect lies, and that she can't lie. What if she made a binding vow to herself and used that as an impetus to strengthen her power?"
"Why would she?" The mom person said while patting Alexa, Alexa was not a toy! But she liked the pats, so she wouldn't say anything about them! "Why seek that much strength?"
"She was a victim of human experimentation, even if she wasn't a test subject." Aunty Viv pointed, "Remember that case?"
"Right...I did read about it, but... she was rescued right?" The mom person pointed, "The only real victim was... Vulcanus."
"The files did claim that he was the only one heavily experimented on, but there were others that suffered to a lesser degree, even if she wasn't one. Perhaps guilt moved her?" Aunty Viv said pulling the photos of a few [Kid Stage] humans, Alexa didn't recognize anyone there, so they shouldn't be important!
"Guilt over not suffering like the others? She sought closure by earning a power that wouldn't allow people to lie to her?" The mom person sighed, "I guess it doesn't help that the one rescuing them was Alexanders..."
See! Big Brother helped!
"If she had just gotten her core power, and asked him something... That asshole may have answered something rude, that was marked as true." The mom person sighed, "He really loves antagonizing people for no reason."
"It would be true too, he rarely lies." Aunty Viv pointed out, "If he said that they got experimented because of him, it would be true. Because these experiments were set up to make a heir that could outclass him."

"Which would make Eleanore hate him... And if all her attempts at bringing a truth good enough to bring down the Saintsworths Conglomerate kept failing..." The mom person said turning to the image of [Eleanore].
"She would make reckless decisions, such as binding herself like that." Aunty Viv nodded too.
But that sword thingie wasn't because of that!
It was because Alexandra and Ale!
Alexa knew! It was to protect Alexa!
"[I can return out, it seems that this place is isolated enough, the interference reseded quite quickly.]"
Ale sent from within.
So Ale could come out to play?
But Alexa was playing now! She was getting all the pats!
"We may need to check on that, using Truth to destroy the Saintsworths will never work. So we will need to convince her to destroy that," Aunty Viv said closing the image of [Eleanore], "And we need to investigate those books, each question brought one, but they didn't seem that relevant to create such effect."
"But before that," The mom person said while leaving her hand atop Alexa, the looooong pat was heereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, "We have something more important to deal with."
"You may have, I only let you borrow my lab." Aunty Viv said with mirth in her voice, what was mirth? Why did Aunty Viv have it?
"What do you want to do Alexa?" The mom person said ignoring the mirth in Aunty Viv's voice. "Do you want to return home?"
"But Alexa is at home!" Alexa said confused, "Alexandra sent her [home], so Alexa should be at home."
"... That Core power may have glitched," The mom person said, "Do you want to return with aunty Eleanore?"
"She isn't an aunty!" Alexa said shaking her head as fast as she could, which was closer to Mach 26 (It was not a mach number), "The only Aunty that Alexa has is Aunty Viv!"
And that was also [Truth]! Alexa knew it!
"Right..." Aunty Viv said nodding with some trepidation, why trepidation! Did she not want to be Alexa's aunty! Rude!
Aunty Viv was being Rude!
"Do we need to call her guardian...?" The mom person said turning to almost no aunty Viv for help.
"If you want that blonde menace here sure," Aunty Viv said nodding, "How do you deal with hard decisions when your... brother isn't around?"
How did Alexa deal with that?
"Easy!" Alexa answered while noodling her way out of the confinement of the good hugs and pats from the mom person. Alexa wormed her way away and stood with her feetsies in the ground, "Alexa does this!"
Alexa then proceeded to raise her right hand to the heavens and with one step she said aloud, "Alexa.....change!" And then taking a second step clockwise, Alexa called upon the ancient sacred powers of....

"[My turn I guess...]"
Ale nodded and answered to the call.
The next thing that happened was that Alexa's whole body started shining in blue light as the form shifted, it wasn't like how it had been when she changed from Ale to Alexa, this time there was music and a cinematic scene! (There was nothing like that)
"I have arrived...I guess," Ale said stretching as her body finished changing, she once more was standing in front of Miriam Eversoul and Vivian Kellet.
The woman that Alexa had declared to be a [Mom Person] and [Aunty Viv], Ale wasn't that sure if those labels fit the women or not, but at least Miriam Eversoul seemed to worry about them.
The other one...
Ale could still see the blue screens around them, and one of those was designed to monitor Alexa's vitals at all times, now Ale's vitals, but that was a moot point.
"How are you feeling?" Miriam Eversoul asked as she looked up and down at Ale.
"Fine, this room has good insulation." Ale answered, looking around, "As for your previous question, I deal with some of the responsibilities that befall Alexa, before Alexandra helped do most of it... But I guess now I will do that."
Alexandra dealt with many chores in their household, way more than Ale had ever stopped to think about if she was honest.
So her disappearance would hit her harder than Alexa in a way.
"... That is not how the world works," Miriam Eversoul said with a sigh, "You are also a kid, you can't decide these kind of issues."
"You are underage, right?" Vivian Kellet asked.
"Yes," Ale answered, "But Unless you are willing to call Alexanders Saintsworths or Skye Venti. Then you will need to take my word for it."
"Who is Skye Venti?" Miriam Eversoul asked, surprised, "I thought you didn't have more family... No wait, Venti? Where did I hear that name?"
"That is the name of [Big Sister]," Ale answered honestly, "She should be one of my guardians, if not, [Elder] is an option, but I am unsure of under what name he was registered."
"Elder?" Miriam Eversoul asked confused, "You live with someone from the high council?"
"No?" Ale answered confused, "[Elder] is a coworker of Alexandra, you are already aware that the body armor we had was from [Haephestus' Forge] right? [Elder] is one of the workers there."
"...So either we listen to you, we call the blonde asshole, or we call one of the minions under Hephaestus' Forge?" Miriam Eversoul enumerated the options. "I liked you more when you were five."
