{Chapter 27} Cliff Fall.jpg
Perhaps learning from the previous incident where she stayed up until midnight reading a novel, only to find the simulation result identical to the previous one, Anna once again successfully avoided Helga's cuddling request and slept alone in her room. She only started this simulation after waking up.
[Day Zero: You, Atala, and Helga went to the Adventurers' Guild to complete some commissions. You successfully finished today's tasks and earned a decent amount of pocket money.]
Finally, a different simulation outcome! Thank goodness!
[That night, you were caught by Helga and had a wild time in her room.]
…Never mind.
[Day One: Your old residence was finally renovated, and you moved in.]
[Atala also moved in with you, and you prepared rooms for Helga and Louise in advance.]
[After dinner and a bath, you hid in your room early, avoiding Helga.]
So, you do know how to hide?
The simulated version of yourself finally didn’t succumb to desire.
But moving in tomorrow already?
Time seems to have flown by. In the blink of an eye, you’ve been living in the capital for three days.
[Day Two: You, Atala, and Helga went to the Adventurers' Guild to complete some commissions. You successfully finished today's tasks and earned a decent amount of pocket money.]
[In the evening, your roommates came over, and you had a big meal together, drinking quite a bit.]
[That night, drunk you was thoroughly ravaged by drunk Helga.]
(^ω^)
[Day Three: You, Atala, and Helga went to the Adventurers' Guild to complete some commissions. You successfully finished today's tasks and earned a decent amount of pocket money.]
[That night, you avoided Helga.]
[Day Four: You and Atala went to the Adventurers' Guild to complete some commissions, while Helga went to the Mage Tower.]
[While hunting monsters, you were suddenly surrounded by a thick fog and lost your way.]
[Countless arrows suddenly rained down on you.]
Another assassination attempt!
Arrows and monsters again, can’t you purebloods come up with a different assassination method?
[Thanks to your recent promotion to E-rank knight, you used your newly learned combat skills to block the arrows.]
[However, more arrows came flying at you.]
[You felt your mana and stamina depleting rapidly. You wouldn’t last much longer.]
[At the critical moment, you heard a series of explosions around you.]
[Atala saved you and started running with you.]
Atala! My hero!
Anna had initially thought this simulation would end here, with her being turned into a pincushion by arrows. She hadn’t expected Atala to come to the rescue.
Those explosions must have been explosive arrows!
[Although you ran quickly, you were eventually cornered at the edge of a cliff.]
[Your senses told you that among your pursuers were assassins of the same rank as Atala, if not higher.]
[There was no way out.]
[Looking down at the Seri River below the cliff and then at Atala beside you, you both made the same decision.]
[You jumped off the cliff.]
[The moment you hit the water, the impact knocked you unconscious.]
At least you only passed out…
[Day Seven:]
…Why did it suddenly jump to Day Seven?
[You woke up from unconsciousness to find yourself wearing different clothes, lying in a makeshift shelter made of branches and leaves.]
[When you woke up, you saw Atala outside, starting a fire.]
[Atala noticed you were awake and was pleasantly surprised. She told you about the past few days.]
[It turned out that after you fell into the Seri River, Atala also lost consciousness. When she woke up, she found both of you lying on a beach.]
[According to Atala’s deduction, the two of you had been swept all the way to the sea but miraculously washed up on an island… though why you didn’t sink to the bottom of the sea was still a mystery.]
[Regardless, you and Atala had miraculously survived, though you had no idea where you were.]
[You were filled with hope for the future. Having drifted down the river without sinking and ending up on an island, you might not be too far from the mouth of the Seri River. If you waited a while, a ship might pass by.]
[However, surviving on this island was the top priority.]
[Fortunately, you had stored a lot of bread in your spatial ring, enough to last you for several months. You also had a lifesaving tool that could provide ample protein and various trace elements—]
[Looking at the kitchen knife you pulled out, which was continuously dripping with your own blood, Atala was amazed. Though she wasn’t keen on consuming human blood, it could serve as emergency food.]
…I almost forgot about this thing.
Since it was stored in the spatial ring, which didn’t account for the passage of time, the knife hadn’t bled enough to fill the entire ring. After tossing it into a corner, Anna had somewhat forgotten about it, only recalling it when thinking about the "Bloody End" achievement.
Who knew it would actually come in handy?
[Day Eight: You set up a trap on the beach.]
[You and Atala began carving lines on a piece of wood to keep track of time.]
[Day Nine: You used stones to spell out "HELP" on the beach, hoping a passing merchant ship would see it.]
[However, by the next morning, some of the stones had been washed away by the tide due to their uneven sizes.]
[Day Ten: You caught an animal with your trap and had a satisfying meal with Atala.]
The rest of the simulation turned into a survival story on the deserted island with Atala. Watching it made Anna, who had just woken up and hadn’t eaten breakfast, feel a bit hungry.
[Day Thirty-One: You spotted half of a mast from a ship in the distance. You shouted as loud as you could, but perhaps the distance was too great, no one responded or noticed you.]
[You felt a bit discouraged but didn’t lose hope. After all, there was still a long road ahead, and you believed you could hold on.]
[You noticed Atala’s state of mind, she didn’t seem too bothered either.]
…[Day One Hundred Thirty-Nine: You saw a ship approaching close by and thought it was a rescue.]
[However, they were pirates, and upon spotting you, they attacked.]
[But the pirates were no match for the two of you. In no time, you had them fleeing in disarray. Just as you thought you could seize their ship, the cowardly pirate captain had already raised the anchor and sailed away before you could board.]
Not only was this the first time the simulation had reached Day 139… but the island life also became quite monotonous after a while…
When would the simulated version of herself ever return?
