Capítulo 1611: Chapter 301: Land of Bliss Township vs. the Fae
In the Domain of Void, the Fae have already constructed a Void Realm Portal.
The movement within the Domain of Void is essentially driven by ‘the desire of thought’; merely by imagining, one can reach a destination. If the thought is deep and focused enough, ethereal beings can even teleport directly to the metaphysical location within the Domain of Void.
The Voidrealm Machine God utilizes this method to traverse and survey the Whole Terra.
If the Fae had no body, they could move like this. Unfortunately, Ian, Hua’an, and Frozen Fish all have physical forms, thus they must construct a portal to perform a Void Jump.
Moreover, Ian’s Aether Armament, Supreme Spirit, is also intended to be sent to the Fairy Homeland, allowing these master craftsmen acclaimed by the Tara Confederation to examine it and identify any areas that need improvement.
Forget anything else; if you can freeload on craftsmanship, then do so.
“That’s really nice!”
Since Ian arrived in the Domain of Void with a Fairy Body, he often hears praise from Hua’an and Frozen Fish, the two Fae: “To say nothing of the rest, I always thought you were quite suitable to be a Fae, Ian. Now that I see it, compared to Humans, you look more like a Fae!”
—Is that so? The Dragon King of Dragon Island also said the same.
Ian finds this unsurprising, as he tends to blend in wherever he goes; following local customs is something he has mastered.
Frozen Fish also reflects: [Since Ian, you’ve developed this new fashionable style, over at Land of Bliss Township, people have mostly learned quite a bit from you]
“Learn what?”
Upon hearing this, Ian can’t help but be curious, and Frozen Fish replies: “Obviously, piloting units! You’ll know when you get there.”
Ian begins to grow curious about the demeanor of Land of Bliss Township.
Frozen Fish Tutor is still adjusting the parameters of the Void Realm Portal, which directly interfaces with Land of Bliss Township but doesn’t transfer to other places, sacrificing convenience for stability.
Meanwhile, Ian and Hua’an both watch the direction of the Empire within the Void Realm.
The Void Realm has indeed been undergoing changes.
“What do the Fae think about this?”
Ian asks straightforwardly: “Currently, the Empire is trying to untangle the threads of the Void Realm by adjusting thought currents, which seems good to me.”
“Indeed, it is a good thing.”
Hua’an spins her umbrella, floating mid-air while swinging her legs, lost in her thoughts: “According to the elders among the Fae, during the former civilization of the old era, the Void Realm had no complex structures, just vast, endless plains… It was a symbol of unity, without boundaries, self-interests, or divisions between you and me.”
“Although the elders say it was a rather boring era, they speak of it with nostalgia… That surely means it wasn’t truly boring.”
Ian nods slightly. The era devoid of human internecine struggles may indeed seem ‘boring,’ but that boredom is the most precious trophy in this universe.
The Empire’s Void Realm changes appear commonplace in the eyes of the Fae, for before and after every major war, a nation tends to either consolidate or disperse its effects due to the war.
As for the Floating City being established at the core of the Void Realm changes, the Fae are rather cautious; Hua’an believes this is a sign of the Empire’s attempt to reconstruct the Phantom Network, with the Floating City not being the central point, but the Empire’s internal ‘Virtual Realm LAN.’
“The Void Realm Network of the old era’s civilization has completely collapsed, and its remnants have nearly made it impossible to rebuild this era’s Void Realm Network—unless all Voidrealm Machine Gods are eliminated and the programs behind them completely reformatted.”
Hua’an regrets: “But the Voidrealm Machine Gods are crucial defenses for all intelligent life forms of Terra against demon corruption. Compared to them, the Phantom Network is insignificant.”
“Nevertheless, employing massive base stations as relay points, creating a LAN needing constant maintenance is not a problem.”
[I feel Axel’s actions aren’t that simple]
Frozen Fish Tutor is even more cautious: [Firstly, the purpose—what does Axel need this LAN for? The Elven terminal network is useful enough, but does it need such a nationwide LAN? Even the Elves themselves only use it in several large cities]
[Secondly, each of these Floating Cities employs the Imperial Capital’s Planetary Shield Technology… If nothing unexpected occurs, the Imperial Capital can control the shield on every Floating City; should anyone become adversaries with the Empire, all those shields will fail]
Kept a card up his sleeve. Ian isn’t surprised by this in the slightest; if the Empire couldn’t manage this, he’d actually think something was wrong with their brains.
In truth, Ian has considered using his Shelter Array to replace the Planetary Shield—but not to mention the latter is much tougher than the former, the latter’s technology is directly linked to the Floating City’s reactor, which is currently the highest level Ether Furnace Core. Although Ian can replicate it, he lacks the confidence to change it drastically inside and out under Axel’s watchful eye.
But it’s not without opportunity.
“It seems Axel’s aim lies with this Phantom Network.”
Ian speculates a bit: “Could it be that, like me, Axel has mastered the Realm of Extreme Faith and possesses Spirit Energy similar to Adalbert’s ‘Power of the Collective’?”
“He wants to use this Phantom Network to gather the entire Imperial People’s mental power, enabling him to break through… the Sixth Echelon?”
This possibility indeed exists.
If the heart of the Empire unites as one, coupled with winning a world war against surrounding nations, benefiting from a grand victory, Axel might indeed break through the Sixth Echelon… at least surpass the ‘Realm of Conviction’!
