After Breaking Up, I Married the General-Chapter 106 - 105: Rest 3

Chapter 106

Chapter 106: Chapter 105: Rest 3
"I knew it. You’re doing some research again. What potion did you make this time?"
"I made stronger stabilizers that could work even if the sentinels are already in their manic state."
"What! Really?!"
Ryzel immediately stretch his arms because of Lyre’s voice and said, "Don’t shout!"
"Really? Did you already succeed in making them. I knew you were researching about them before, but I didn’t know you could already make them!" Lyre said in a lowered voice but still filled with excitement.
"Yes, I already finished it. I also already agreed for its circulation yesterday, so potion makers could already make them," Ryzel explained.
"You’re really amazing Ry! Now I don’t need to worry about my brother having a mania because my sister-in-law isn’t around the frontlines."
"I’m sorry to burst your bubble but the stabilizers I made are only effective for sentinels that have level A mental power and lower.
The stabilizers I made this time aren’t yet effective for S level and higher-level sentinels," Ryzel explained.
"No, with your personality and ability I’m sure you would make stabilizers that would also work for those sentinels that have higher mental power levels, it’s just a matter of time."
"You really know me well. After my rest I plan to continue my research and make stabilizers that would be effective for sentinels that have S class and above mental power level."
"But why isn’t there any news about what you made? With such an amazing potion why is there no news about it?"
"The other potion makers and the higher ups should be making the potions on their own and having a try. Maybe they are going to release it today or when they have enough stocks," Ryzel replied.
He was also unsure when they were going to release the news to the people.
He doesn’t care much about when they are going to release such news, so he didn’t bother asking Layton Lewis about it.
Anyway, they would release the news sooner or later because such positive news is needed to boost the morale of the people in the federation.
Sentinels going into their manic state was always a problem of the federation because they couldn’t do anything else about it.
Knowing that even if the sentinels go into mania, they could still calm down would be a great relief to the people so they would surely release such news.
"Ha ha ha.
I really wanted to know what face your green tea cousin would show knowing that you made something amazing. He and his cronies are bad mouthing you now that you aren’t here."
"Just let them be I don’t care about them anymore," Ryzel said.
"You might not care about it anymore, but they are really irritating.
Do you know that they are saying that you married General Lewis just because you need to marry someone.
They also said that General Lewis is pitiful because you married him even though you don’t have any feelings for him."
"What they said is really true. So, you don’t need to care what they are saying," Ryzel said nonchalantly.
It is actually obvious that he married Layton without any feelings as their marriage was very rushed, so he didn’t care about what others were saying because it was indeed true.
"Yes, it is indeed true, but a lot of guide-sentinel marry like that. Only a few could really marry someone they really liked. So, why are they talking so righteously?
They are very irritating. What made it worse is that they were saying that you aren’t on par with General Lewis. They talk as if they are better than you.
Ha ha ha
I really wanted to see their faces after the news of what you made is released. Their face should be wonderful to look at," Lyre said with glee.
"Hey when they are talking about me you didn’t do anything to them, right?" Ryzel asked.
"Of course I talked back to them. I even wanted to give them a slap, but the others are always stopping me, so I haven’t been able to do anything about them," Lyre said and even sighed, as if it was really a pity.
"You are becoming more violent. As I said I don’t care about them so you shouldn’t care about them anymore."
"Don’t worry knowing that you made something amazing I wouldn’t care about them anymore.
I will be waiting for them to be slapped in the face when the news about what you made is released all over the federation."
"Yes, you shouldn’t care about it anymore. It would be bad if your partner wouldn’t want you because you are becoming violent," Ryzel teased.
"Huh? When did I even become violent? Don’t you know I am a pitiful week guide," Lyre said while acting pitiful.
"Well, with your skills you could indeed convince them. You’ve always been good at acting like a baby even if you’re doing some trouble," Ryzel said while chuckling.
"Right, the last internship is only a month away. The teachers would start deciding what army we are going into.
A lot of our classmates are already engaged so they would surely be assigned to the army where their partner is.
Those who also got married already went to where their partner was as soon as they finished their research.
I wanted to go to where you are. So, you better tell those that are interested in the match to provide their data as soon as possible."
As guides always followed wherever their partner was stationed, even if they were only engaged, they would also be assigned to the army where their partner was.
As for those guides that don’t have a partner yet or if they aren’t formally engaged, they would be assigned to different armies in their internship period.
So, most guides actually finalized their engagement before their internship period in the academy, especially the guides that don’t want to go to dangerous areas. They would choose sentinels that weren’t assigned in the frontlines.
