After Breaking Up, I Married the General-Chapter 126 - 125: Feeling Bad

Chapter 126

Chapter 126: Chapter 125: Feeling Bad
"By the way, who are your parents? do you want to contact them?" Ryzel said not wanting to let them cry anymore as Ian also had tears in his eyes.
"Our parents are Mar and Vince Simons; they are businessmen in the capital star," Luna answered after wiping away her tears.
"I see, do you remember their light brain number?" Ryzel asked.
"No, I don’t remember it anymore," Luna said with disappointment.
Before Ryzel could say that the ninth army would just contact their parents later on, but they could only contact them after they arrive at the ninth army headquarters," Ian spoke.
"I remember dad’s light brain!" Ian said excitedly.
"That’s good. Then, let me contact them for you," Ryzel said and opened his light brain.
"What is your dad’s contact number?"
Ian told him his dad’s contact number, and after entering the number he directly dialed it for a video call.
After waiting for a while someone finally answered.
"Huh?! Hello, Mr. Ryzel, how may I help you," Mr. Vince said politely as soon as he saw him. It seemed that his face was really well known.
"Hello, Mr. Vince, Ian and Luna are currently in the ninth army, you can talk to them first," Ryzel said and immediately shared his light screen to Luna and Ian who were in front of him because he knew that they were also excited to talk to their dad.
As soon as Mr. Vince saw his children he cried, Luna and Ian also cried as they finally saw each other.
They told Mr. Vince that they were fine as they were already rescued, and they didn’t tell him about what happened to them at all. After a bit they finally said goodbye to each other.
"Hello, Mr. Ryzel, are we allowed to go to the ninth army to fetch Ian and Luna," Mr. Vince asked.
"Hello, Mr. Vince, I know that you are eager to have them with you but going to the ninth army headquarters would be difficult. The ninth army would most likely escort your children to your place afterwards but I’m sure they would be allowed to talk to you every day."
Except for an emergency civilian not associated with the ninth army headquarters aren’t allowed to go in.
So, even if they wanted to come and meet their children immediately, they won’t be allowed to enter.
"I understand, thank you very much for informing me immediately, Mr. Ryzel," Mr. Vince said.
After Luna and Ian said their goodbye’s Ryzel ended the call.
"I recorded our conversation a while ago, is it okay for other people to listen to it?" Ryzel asked.
"Yes, it’s okay. I know you need to know what happened to us in there so you can also let others listen to it," Luna said.
"Thank you very much for telling me what happened. I know both of you are already tired. You can rest first as will be arriving at the ninth military headquarters in a few minutes," Ryzel said and also said goodbye to the twins.
After saying goodbye to Lana and Ian he went to look at the other guides to look at their conditions.
Luna and Ian can be considered to have a better mental state than the other guides. When he looked at the other guides who were rescued most of them wouldn’t say anything at all. Some were crying, which is a bit better as they started letting out their emotions, which is better than the others who were just staying silent.
The most worrying were the twelve guides that Lana mentioned. They wouldn’t respond to any questions at all. They didn’t even utter a single word. They were just mechanically following what the other doctors were saying, when the doctor said they needed to drink the potion they would drink it but other than that they wouldn’t do anything.
After looking at them Ryzel went back to their room and just sat down on the sofa.
The federation does indeed have a lot of privilege to guides but because of their value a lot of people still covet them.
When he saw the conditions of the guides and heard what Lana said he was very distressed and angry.
He already knew that being a guide wasn’t all very good even if they had a lot of privileges but after seeing those captured guides Ryzel realized how bad the situation of guides could be just because they were born as one.
All of them didn’t chose to be guides but just because they were one, they experienced such terrible things.
If the value of the guides wasn’t that high, then at least such events would be lessened. He knew that it would be difficult to disappear because of human nature but at least it could be reduced to a very minimal number.
The value of guides comes from their ability to guide sentinels from the pollution they were receiving from the environment, especially when they were battling Zergs. So, the guide’s value should be lessened if the battle with the Zergs were over or if they could really make a cleansing potion and other potions that would help the sentinels.
He doesn’t know when the battle with the Zergs will end but at least he would do his best in making different potions. If he successfully makes those potions the constraints and danger level of being a guide would be lessened.
All guides have different talents because of their mental power be it in arts, music, potion making or other things. They all have different talents that they could use to survive even if they don’t have any privileges.
So, he should earnestly do his best to make more useful potions to be of help. However, even though he knew he could be of help in the future. He doesn’t know what he could do to those who already experienced such a tragedy.
He wasn’t a saint or anything if he hadn’t seen it himself then he would only feel bad for a while.
However, he had seen it himself which was why kept thinking about too much while being frustrated because he didn’t know where to vent the anger and sadness he felt.
"Ryzel, Ryzel!"
"Huh?" Ryzel looked up and saw Layton Lewis looking at him.
"I kept calling your name, but you wouldn’t respond, what’s on your mind?" Layton Lewis asked him gently.
Ryzel didn’t reply but opened his arms to Layton Lewis asking for a hug. Layton Lewis hugged him and sat on the sofa while putting him on his lap.
"What is it?" Layton Lewis asked again while still hugging him and gently caressing his hair.
"Nothing, I just feel bad," Ryzel said while burying his head in Layton Lewis’ embrace.
He really just felt bad, he felt that he was feeling ten times worse than when Dwight broke up with him because he was with Sean to begin with, and he needed to immediately find a marriage partner.
Layton Lewis didn’t say anything and just continued to embrace him.
After staying in Layton Lewis’ embrace for a while Ryzel said, "The leader of the pirates in that area died too easily. Can you torture the rest of the pirates you captured?"
Layton Lewis chuckled and said, "Don’t worry the soldiers in charge of interrogation knew what they did so they wouldn’t be merciful when getting information from them."
"That’s great! They should suffer for what they did to those guides! Be sure to tell you soldiers to get information slowly!" Ryzel said with a smile.
"Ok, I will surely tell them," Layton Lewis agreed.
"Are you finally feeling better?"
"Just a little bit," Ryzel replied. He finally felt a bit better after hearing that the other perpetrators would also suffer.
"By the way why did you come here?"
"I want to tell you that we are already at the ninth army headquarters."
"Oh, we already arrived. Then, let’s go," Ryzel said and stood up.
Both of them went out and it seemed that all the others had already disembarked except for the necessary personnel for the ship.
"Where will the guides stay?"
"They will temporarily stay with the guides at the headquarters. Most of our guides that work at the medical center know how to treat them. They should feel more at ease for having a lot of guides as their company."
"Yes, don’t let them near any sentinels for the time being."
"Don’t worry I already commanded them not to show their faces near the guides for the time being."
"Did you contact their relative already?"
"We haven’t contacted them yet. Most of them haven’t started saying anything yet so we don’t know what exactly happened to them, we don’t even know their full names yet.
You talked to the two guides a while ago, right? You need to what you heard about them, for us to understand what happened as we also need to it afterwards."
