Chapter 140: Chapter 139: In an unknown planet 5
Ryzel knew that as soon as he focused on something, especially in his research, he wouldn’t pay much attention to his surroundings at all.
And because he liked what he was doing, he couldn’t be like other guides who could always give their full attention to their sentinels.
He preferred reading more research notes and other materials related to his work instead of spending time with Layton on dates or just drinking tea and chatting, especially when his research was currently making ideal progress.
He would be living with Layton for the rest of his life, so even though their relationship hadn’t started as a blazing romance that led to marriage, he still wanted to get along with Layton.
Ryzel could see that Layton really cared about him, so as long as Layton didn’t betray him, he was willing to get along well with him.
They had only been married for a few months, and he was actually happy with his married life.
He could freely do his research as long as he was mindful of the time, Layton took good care of him, and he also enjoyed their intimate moments at night.
Since Ryzel had decided to get along well with Layton, he remembered what Lyre often told him about marriage and relationships whenever they were together.
He especially remembered the "satisfaction" topic that Lyre had mentioned before.
Sure, they weren’t like ordinary people who could simply divorce and separate because of dissatisfaction, but it was still better to live harmoniously.
While he was lost in thought, Layton had already taken him out of the healing cabin and cleaned him up in the bathroom.
He only snapped out of his thoughts when he was placed on the bed, already dressed.
Habits were really scary, he was already so used to Layton taking care of him, bathing him, and dressing him that he could be lost in his thoughts and not even notice it was done.
But when he looked down at himself and saw what he was wearing, he immediately glared at Layton.
"It’s still daytime. Why are you dressing me up like this?"
He was currently wearing a transparent long shirt that reached his knees, but it was so sheer it looked like he was wearing nothing at all. It was probably made from glass silk flowers, soft to the touch but entirely see-through like glass.
It was the same with the string underwear he was wearing. It was also transparent, only outlined with gold lines that made it clear he was wearing something, which just emphasized it even more.
The outfit was obviously one of the nightclothes Layton had bought for him.
Layton was really fond of dressing him up every night in different outfits, but since Ryzel didn’t feel uncomfortable in them, he simply wore them.
However, he had never worn such clothes in broad daylight, which was why he glared at Layton.
"Those are the only types of your clothes that are with me, so I could only dress you in them," Layton said while sitting on the bed and leaning against the headboard.
He then lifted Ryzel and placed him on his lap.
"You should have asked me. I still have a lot of clothes in my space."
Ryzel hadn’t forgotten to pack plenty of clothes when he thought that he might be sent to a border planet so he prepared enough to last him for a long time.
He had even asked Lyre to help him buy a lot of them so he wouldn’t have any problems if he ever had to work continuously for ten years.
He also went shopping with Layton and Lyre sometimes, so he had more clothes stored in his space.
So, he didn’t have any problems with normal clothes at all.
"You were lost in your thoughts and didn’t pay attention when I brought out the clothes for you to wear, so I just dressed you up.
Besides, we’re the only ones here. No one would visit or disturb us.
I rarely get the chance to see you dressed like this since I can only do it at night.
Now that it’s just the two of us, you can wear them longer.
You should wear them every day while we’re still here," Layton said and lightly nibbled on his ear.
Ryzel tilted his neck and replied, "It’s not my fault that you couldn’t enjoy watching me dressed in these clothes.
You always tear them after a few minutes or a few hours of dressing me up.
And there’s indeed no problem with wearing these clothes since we’re the only ones here, and they’re not uncomfortable at all."
In fact, the clothes Layton chose were all comfortable because they were made of the highest quality materials.
He also had no issue wearing them since he wouldn’t feel cold even in such light and thin clothing because the temperature inside was always just right.
The tent they were in was of the highest quality, so its temperature control worked perfectly.
However, the problem wouldn’t be the clothes or him, it would be Layton.
"But if you let me wear such clothes every day, can you even work afterwards?" Ryzel said, touching Layton’s lower body, which was already hard.
Then he added, "Besides, do you even have enough of these clothes for me to wear every day? I think you’ve already torn a lot of the ones you bought."
Layton chuckled, then pressed Ryzel’s hand against him, letting him feel how hard he already was.
Layton guided Ryzel’s hand to unbutton and unzip his pants while saying, "I really can’t work properly after seeing you in such clothes.
But don’t worry, I can still control myself enough to work during the day but you should be ready for me during break times."
"As for the clothes, you don’t have to worry about them. I have a lot of clothes for you. Even if you changed into such clothes twice a day, the ones I bought would probably last for ten years."
"What the—" Ryzel said, looking at Layton in surprise before continuing, "I think you have a small problem.
Who in their right mind would buy such clothes that would last for such a long time?"
Layton was shameless enough to say, "That’s me. And I don’t think it’s a problem. I’m just buying a lot of nice clothes for you."
"If the people in the federation knew what you’ve done, your image would surely take a hit. By the way, when did you even have time to buy so many of these clothes?"
"I don’t care. As long as I’m strong enough and continue to fulfill my responsibilities, there would be no problem.
And even if they knew, a lot of people would probably be relieved to see that I’m a bit more human."
"That’s indeed true."
Aside from being the war god praised by many people, there were also many who thought that he was very cold and seemed emotionless.
That’s why during their wedding, when people saw a different expression from Layton, it became a hot topic among netizens for a long time.
It would probably be the same if they found out that Layton also had some hobbies. Some would certainly use it to discredit him, but a lot of people probably wouldn’t take it as an issue.
"As for the clothes, I had preordered and customized a lot of them before we went to the capital star for Mervin and Lyre’s wedding."
"So aside from buying a lot of these things in the base, you also ordered more from the capital star? Are those the big boxes that were continuously delivered for you when we went there?"
When they were at the capital star, Ryzel had seen many big boxes that the robot butlers received, but he didn’t pay them any attention since they were all addressed to Layton.
"Yes, they’re all your clothes. So, you should wear a lot of them while we’re still here. I want to see you wear them," Layton said while guiding Ryzel’s hand to directly touch the member he had freed as they talked.
Ryzel obediently touched Layton’s member with his hand, pleased to see the forbearing expression on Layton’s face laced with pleasure, and said, "No, I think that’s a great disadvantage for me. I won’t be able to do my research on the plants around here if I wear such clothes every day."
"I’ll make sure that you’ll still have time to do your research. Work and break time are both important to make our minds function well. I’m just going to make our break time more enjoyable than usual," Layton said, then initiated a passionate kiss.
After their lips separated, Layton said, "Having pleasurable breaks is helpful and makes you more relaxed so you can think clearer afterwards, right?"
Being intimate with Layton was indeed pleasurable and made him more relaxed afterwards.
They were also partners who had established mental locks, so the benefits were greater.
