As long as they’re formally tested after they get back to the federation, then they could use it.
So, he will try to find plants that he could use in making potions that are also suitable for high-level sentinels and possibly one that could also work for Layton.
He’ll also try to look for plants that he could possibly use for the potion that he had wanted to make for a long time.
With how many unknown plants there are on the planet they’re currently in, he could probably find a few.

"Since I’ll start repairing Storm tomorrow and can’t stay and watch over you, we should do something first so that I won’t miss you too much," Layton said, then pulled him to his lap and started kissing him passionately.
After they separated, Ryzel said, "A-as if you won’t do anything tomorrow."

The next day, Layton became busy repairing Storm and Ryzel also continued studying more plants.
Both of them continued doing their own things while staying together during their break time.
After another 2 weeks had passed, Ryzel, who was studying plants, became very focused on one of the plants that they had just collected near the place where the big animal was staying in the forest they were in.
In the past weeks, even though both of them were going around collecting plants, they didn’t go and collect the plants at the place where the animal was staying because they didn’t want to disturb it.
The animal had already recovered but it hadn’t bothered them at all, so Ryzel also didn’t want to disturb it by going near it to collect plants.
However, the last time they went out, the animal went out to hunt for food, so Ryzel and Layton went there and took samples of the plants that were only growing near it.
He had already started studying the plants from that place and didn’t notice anything different until the plant that he was currently studying.
The plant he was studying was only a small purple plant that was growing at the edge of the cave where the animal was staying.
He got three samples of the plant and started re-examining them repeatedly after he started checking the first data of the plant that he got from the analyzers.
He even associated the things he had researched in different plants from the forest they were in.
After checking them again and again in different ways for 5 hours, he was finally sure of what he had found.
He excitedly pressed the button on their tent to call Layton over.
Without even a minute, Layton was already in front of him and started checking him out while asking questions.
"What happened? Is something wrong with you?"
Because of his excitement he forgot that the main purpose of the button wasn’t just to call Layton over, but mainly for emergencies.
So, he hurriedly said, "No, I don’t have any problems at all!"
And then added happily, "I just called you because I want to say that I discovered something great!"
"It’s good that you are okay," Layton said with obvious relief.
"You are very excited this time, what did you discover to cause such excitement?" Layton asked while guiding him to the sofa so that they could sit together.
"I discovered something from the purple plant that we got a while ago and it is likely the cause of why the plants here could grow very well even though they should be growing in a different environment—like the plants with the same components as them in the federation.
I discovered something that is still undigested by the purple plants that we got. I repeatedly tested it and it was indeed assisting the plant to grow healthier.
But the purple plant had a very slow digestion reaction to it, that’s why it’s still present until now in the purple plant, but it wasn’t detected from any other plants that we had collected so far.
I already tried its compatibility with other plants and most of the plants just swallowed and digested a part of it easily, that’s why they didn’t discover anything else."
"So what is it?"
"It’s mental power. I discovered a mental power that is very compatible with the plants and was also enriching them."
"Are you sure it’s mental power?" Layton asked seriously.
"Yes, I’m sure it’s mental power, but it is different from ours.
The mental powers of sentinels are very aggressive and couldn’t be used in channeling out the pollutants in plants at all—they would only destroy the plant.

According to the data that I had gathered after putting other plants near it and guiding a few of those mental powers out, the other plant also accepted it and it’s obvious from the data that the other plant also improved a bit, even though it isn’t that obvious from the outside.
I’ll continue to study it in the next few days but I really think that it’s the reason why the plants in this mountain range are thriving and coexisting properly even though they should be living in different environments."
