Chapter 415: As soon as the moon rises...(suggestive)
"Alright, enough. Get up off your knees. I’m not asking for anything of that nature, and I’m not enjoying you being on your knees right now." Cass told him and watched as Edgar’s eyes flickered to a brighter shade before they flickered back to the flat blue that they were when he was ’more human’.
Lucian’s soft, almost laugh-like exhale beside Cass had him whipping out his arm to smack his stomach again. Coming in contact with his flat, muscled stomach had Cass’ mind going wild. Cass felt like the control he had on himself, and his urges were slipping.
He wondered how the hell this was happening so easily, and why it was happening? He had been fine so far, and honestly, he’d spent most of his time today in rooms around these guys. He hadn’t had this reaction to them then, so why now?
It was made worse as Cass felt something warm, tingly and fuzzy head down his spine and nestle in his lower stomach, right above his dick. Cass knew what that was now, and he let out a shaky, calming breath.
He wasn’t in his heat period, but he had been warned. That was one of the reasons why he wasn’t freaking the fuck out, but he was freaking out internally. Lucian could tell, as his hand tentatively touched Cass’ back.
"Sweetness, is everything alright?" He asked softly and Cass glanced over at Lucian and gave a quick shake of his head, but raised his hand to stop Lucian from pushing it.
"It’s just the warning I received before and it’s actually...happening now. I’ll be fine." Cass told him, his voice cracking and Cass cleared his throat. He just fucking hoped he didn’t get hard. He really, really didn’t want to get hard right now. A tingle here and there was fine, but he did need to have a serious conversation with Lord Ridgewood, Edgar and Lucian. Especially since...it was just them now.
Cass glanced back to Edgar, who hadn’t moved yet and flinched as he realised the other man was staring at him in a way that told him that he knew what Cass was experiencing. Cass’ face suddenly felt warm.
"Stop looking at me like that." Cass snapped and Edgar blinked, his gaze dimming as he swallowed.
"I, uh, I’m sorry. I just...I just got a sudden desire. I apologise again." Cass watched the man struggle to his feet and Cass, foolishly, opened his mouth. His curiousity getting the better of him.
"What was your desire?" Cass asked and Edgar paused, half-way up. He was holding onto the cushion of the couch, using it as an anchor to help himself up and his grip tightened there when Cass asked his question. Cass watched as he seemed to take a steadying breath before he raised his blue gaze towards Cass. Cass flinched again at the potency of those damn eyes on him.
"I wanted to suck your cock." Edgar said and it was like he had dropped a bomb in the room. Lord Ridgewood started coughing, as if he was surprised by the words that left Edgar’s mouth. Edgar turned a pretty, dangerous red shade that complimented his pretty blonde hair and blue eyes and frilly collar. Lucian let out a low rumble, but Cass couldn’t tell if it was in discontent, or if the giant dragon was purring again.
Cass lost the ability to breathe for a moment, his throat closing as his mind flashed images of Edgar on his knees before Cass. Cass’ hands in those pretty blonde locks of his, those blue eyes crotch level as the man took his cock into his mouth with his pretty little pink lips...
Cass turned his gaze away from Edgar, his chest heaving as he tried to gather some kind of control.
"Couch. Now, Edgar." Cass ordered, really needing him off of the floor or he was going to lose his damn mind. Cass didn’t see him do it, but he heard him shuffling, the sound of wood creaking and fabric rubbing against fabric.
"I’m sitting on the couch, Cass." Edgar’s voice was soft, no expectation, and that made things worse.
"I need some fucking air." Cass muttered, spinning and heading for a window attached to his room. Lucian stayed where he was, and Cass could feel everyone’s gaze on him as he moved away.
Cass got to the window, struggled for a moment, but did manage to get the window open on his own. It wasn’t a strength issue this time, but not knowing there were latches on the windows. Slamming it up, locking it in place, Cass stuck his head out the window and inhaled the cooler air.
Holy. Shit.
He’d never had those thoughts when he was making other people apologise to him. Not once did he consider making those fat and ugly nobles do the same thing. Was it an Edgar thing? He’d also seen Lord Ridgewood on his knees like that, and it hadn’t made his body stir like that. He hadn’t seen anything close to what he had just pictured in his mind.
Cass took a moment to scan the area outside of the window. It wasn’t exactly a view of the front of the mansion with the forest extending towards the main road, but it was more like it was cut off from view at a certain point. It was a blend, with half of the view being the forest and the other half being a pretty gazebo in the back garden and...the area where Cass had just learned how to fight with some weapons.
Huh. He had a view where he could potentially see Lord Ridgewood working out in the morning. What an interesting discovery.
Cass shivered, his extremities cold, but his core was burning flame hot.
"Sweetness, you’re going to give yourself a chill." Lucian’s soft words of concern, accompanied by the large hand on his lower back made Cass jump like a startled cat. He would have hissed at him if it wouldn’t have made him look like a damn freak.
"You scared me." Cass accused as he turned his head to glare at the other man. Lucian remained still, confident and calm as he smiled at Cass.
"Your nipples are harder and easier to see now." Lucian told him in response instead and Cass scrunched his face up in embarrassment and gave Lucian a middle finger. Lucian’s eyes curled up at the corners, making his pirate-like charm even more devastating when combined with his lack of a shirt and his own, perky nipples.
"Shut the fuck up." Cass snarled and Lucian gave a soft laugh, his pecs jiggling as he did so. Cass wasn’t able to tear his gaze away from the meat moving. God, he wanted to suck on the-
Cass cut his thoughts off, horror filling him as he snapped his head forward. His heart pounded in his chest as he realised he wasn’t in heat, but it was pretty fucking close. That thought was combined with Lucian making a low rumbling noise and then a loud, embarrassing sniff. Cass sucked in, worried about what the man would say.
Lucian’s hand flexed on Cass’ lower back before Cass felt him step closer.
Cass stared out at the forest below him, trying to draw some kind of fairy power into him to counter this fucking demon blood that was coursing through his veins. The gazebo surely would give him some ability to fight this strange thing brewing under his skin.
"You smell like you do when you’re in heat, Cass." Lucian’s voice was soft, quiet. Meant only for Cass’ ears alone. Cass shivered, and it had nothing to do with the cold air washing over him.
"No, I don’t." Cass denied easily, knowing it was a damn lie. Lucian exhaled slowly.
"You’re not a liar, Cass." Lucian said, his voice deep and soft, washing over Cass. Cass tightened his thighs in response. His fingers gripped onto the ledge of the window tightly.
"But I’m not in heat either." Cass told him softly, firmly and Lucian’s hand on Cass’ lower back twitched.
"Alright. You’re not in heat, but you’re uncomfortable, aren’t you? I watched how you looked at Edgar. You looked hungry, Cass. Are you hungry?" Lucian asked. It would have been sweet in any other context.
Cass felt his stomach twist and he nearly choked on the desire that filled him. Alarm filled him as he felt something wet drip between his legs and Cass tightened his thighs more.
"Something’s wrong." Cass whispered and Lucian stiffened.
"How? What can I do to help?" Lucian asked and Cass reached a hand back, grabbing onto Lucian, unsure where as he stared out over the forest, fear licking at him as he felt a dampness where there should not be a dampness.
"Bathroom." Cass whispered and Lucian made quick work of it. He pulled Cass out from the window, carefully maneuvering him until he could pick him up and carry him to the bathroom quickly. He did his best not to shuffle Cass too much and slammed the door behind him after Cass was there.
Cass, not even caring that Lucian was watching, dropped his drawers and his underwear quickly. Lucian’s gaze flew wide and he nearly choked at the sight of Cass shoving his hand past his semi-hard cock and balls and reaching back.
"Cass, what are you-" He started and Cass’ more panicked voice cut him off. Cass was speaking quietly, knowing that there were people with big ears in the other room.
"It’s damp. It shouldn’t be damp!" Cass whispered urgently. Lucian froze and watched, transfixed as Cass reached the spot where he thought the dampness had come from. Lucian’s shaky breath as Cass shakily found the damp spot had both men freezing.
Cass came to a sudden realisation of what the damp spot was about the same time that Lucian did. However, it wasn’t a shock to Lucian while Cass went white.
"I’m...damp?" Cass whispered to himself and Lucian stayed rooted in his spot a few steps away from Cass.
"It’s not called that, Sweetness." Lucian rasped. "The women don’t refer to it that way." Cass flinched and then took a deep breath.
"Right. Okay." Cass acknowledged. He’d had so many crash outs already. He knew that his body was changed, knew that something wasn’t quite right, and now he was fully coming face to face with it. He was a big boy.
He’d cried enough about this. He could deal with it. He could come to terms with the fact that he had-that he had a pussy. God, that sounded gross. A vagina? That didn’t feel right either. It wasn’t like he had all the parts of it, right?
"What makes up a woman’s anatomy down there?" Cass asked, turning towards the man who had all the experience in this regard. Lucian’s eyes shot open, his jaw dropping as Cass stared at him.
Cass watched as a shudder shook him and his energy expanded and it felt like he filled up the room. Lucian’s gaze was completely dragon-like as he met his gaze.
"You want me to help you?" Lucian asked and Cass realised it was too late to take back his words, so he just swallowed and nodded. The moment he granted permission, he knew he was in trouble.
