Jimmy stopped being as productive after that horrid battle with the scorpions. He climbed higher up into the rocky mountain, just so he could avoid any potential big bugs who might be crossing the same path he had initially explored. It was best to stay out of mother nature’s way, because she didn’t care for feelings.
It was best to sit put, and wait for Anna. It was going to take her more than an hour to come back here and get him, and with the sun setting, he could not risk crossing paths with bugs that he couldn’t even see, or hear, come to think of it, so it was best to stay absolutely still.
Jimmy never dissected bugs before, but he was almost sure that they were supposed to have hearts. Yet, he hadn’t heard their heartbeats, despite being uncomfortably close to seventeen of them earlier on. It was confusing, but also scary, because he knew that if a bunch of bugs were to go after him now, he wouldn’t be able to see them, or hear them. He might be able to hear them crawl, but that was a poor sense to depend on, because they were masters of their own world, so it was no problem for them to crawl silently, despite their large size.
"If a log bug or whatever the shit they’re called pops up and tries to bite me, I’m gonna lose my shit!" He spoke to himself. "I got lucky with the scorpions, but I’m pretty sure I can’t kill a giant fuckass millipede."
Jimmy’s paranoia was exaggerated. Giant Millipedes preferred rivers, not rocky mountains, so he was safe from them up here. He’d most likely get stabbed by a scorpion rather than anything else, but he was hoping that giant bugs would leave him alone for at least the following hour.
That was why he hid higher up in the mountain. He hated this place so much, and as soon as he got home, he wanted to invent shoes.
Jimmy was sure that he saw Eni wearing fur shoes, but they were vastly uncommon amongst other tribesfolk. Everyone else walked around in their bare feet, unless it was winter, he assumed. He didn’t care, he wanted shoes. Today was a good lesson on why it was important to always wear shoes. He had two cracked toe bones a moment ago.
Anyway, thankfully he wasn’t bothered by any other giant bug as he waited. The remaining hour didn’t pass fast, not in his eyes. He was especially intimidated after the sun set, but he soldiered through, and Anna was finally here.
Bonita landed, and Anna called out for him, "Come on, pretty boy. We don’t have all night!"
Jimmy didn’t know how to feel about being called a pretty boy, especially since Anna used those words sarcastically, most of the time, but he stopped thinking about it. He walked towards her, and climbed on Bonita’s back.
"Why are you shivering?" She asked him, as soon as she felt him shivering on her back. "It’s not even cold out here."
"I’m not shivering, I’m shuddering." He corrected her. "I had to kill a bunch of giant scorpions while you were gone."
"How giant?" She asked. "I can’t see them. It’s too dark here."
"You wouldn’t be able to see them during the day either. Their camouflage would make you shit your pants." He said, "But yeah, they were big. Their bodies were bigger than my head, and their tails were disgustingly long."
"Pulmonoscorpius Kirktonensis," She said casually, as if such a name was common knowledge. "Gross... did they get you? I can go down there and smash them for you baby girl."
"I’m fine, and you’re terrible at using nicknames." He said.
Anna giggled, and added, "No, I’m calling you a coward, pretty boy. What sort of man would be afraid of bugs? Grow a pair."
"You’ve studied my pair up close, so you know how big they are. Let’s not play dumb here, you’re looking for reasons to jump down there and dissect some scorpions." He pointed out. "Forget it. It’s dark, and their venom burns hotter than boiling water. They’re not worth the trouble, trust me."
"No, I know. I wasn’t planning to dissect them." She said, "If millipedes can use magic to take in higher concentrations of oxygen, then scorpions can as well. It’s not like common biological laws can stop them. Mother nature is a joke out here."
Jimmy thought about her answer for a while. He got irritated, as a result, because he realized that he just got roasted for nothing.
As they took off towards the tip of the mountain, he got close to her ear, and asked, "Did you just roast me for nothing back there? That’s not fair, I was very nice to you today."
"I know," She shouted back, as the sharp air muffled her words. "It’s foreplay! If I hurt your little feelings, I can stop!"
This was when it dawned on him. The Invisible entity did mention something about Jimmy getting lucky tonight. He had figured that it was code for ’scorpions will try to put their tail up your ass’ but now he understood that the entity made his life easier in two aspects today. The entity prepared him for two fights when it healed him, and the second ’fight’ was sensual, sexual.
’Thanks again, Jurassic Jesus!’ He celebrated inwardly. ’You’re a real one!’
Afterwards, he spoke in Anna’s ear, "Foreplay, huh? Since you like to play rough, do you want to get fucked in the ass while we’re flying home? I’m sure Bonita won’t notice, so no need to feel embarrassed about it."
"You suck at foreplay!" She answered, "You gotta warm me up first, dipshit, you can’t go in me cold! Be a gentleman and give it the old college try first, use your hands!"
Jimmy misunderstood what she wanted to say. So he slipped his hand inside Anna’s fur skirt, and slipped a finger in her anus.
Anna bounced up in shock, she hadn’t been ready for anything like that. She almost shat herself, even, because she hadn’t had the time for a bathroom break yet. She let out a wet fart, got beet red in anger, and cussed at him a couple of times.
"Grab my breasts, Jimmy, my breasts!" She guided him, and swallowed a bug as they flew towards the tip of the mountain.
She had been shouting until now so Jimmy could hear him properly, and it finally caught up with her. She coughed her lungs out for two minutes, and their mood was mostly ruined. They weren’t mad for long though, as this, at the very least, was a funny story to tell.
