Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates-Chapter 132: Containers

Chapter 132

Chapter 132: Containers
Jimmy broke in his new boots, to have a feel of how they were like. They fit well, but as he started walking around with them, he noticed that there was something wrong with the boots. Well, not necessarily wrong, but they didn’t behave like normal boots did.
For example, each time he took a step, and then lifted his foot up to take another step, he felt a push from behind him. The push was coming from the boots, they were pushing him up, just slightly, which was surprising, considering how heavy they were.
"Hmm..." He stroked his chin. "Maybe they kick up to make walking easier? That suit did look heavy, I’d imagine that boots, which help you walk faster, or easier when you have a heavy load on, must’ve been infinitely useful."
Jimmy concocted a theory that only he understood. He basically pictured the boots as gravity defying, which made wearing them a lot easier, since they were already heavy on their own. He didn’t understand the exact science behind it, but he liked these boots a lot more now. They were not only practical, but they were useful as well.
He then got the instinctive urge to jump with the boots on, just to test how much they could push him upwards. He expected to jump a few inches higher than usual, but to his surprise, he jumped a whole meter, or a bit over three feet upwards! The ceiling was about six more meters away, so he didn’t bump his head, and so if he wanted to experiment with these boots further, he had the option to do so.
He quickly discovered that the high jumps were not the only thing these boots offered. He also noticed that after the jump, right before he touched the ground, the boots slowed him down mid air, which in turn helped him land safely, softly.
"This gotta be great on the knees," He gasped, excited. "These are the most darn useful pair of boots I’ve ever had the pleasure of wearing. God damn!"
The steel-toe boots were indeed great. They were impeccably designed to protect the wearer under a lot of circumstances. They weren’t just used for jumping higher than the average human, they were built to accommodate the wearer thoroughly.
For example, he could jump around steep areas, coated with sharp rocks, and he’d never hurt his feet, or the rest of his body, because the boots would always slow his fall down whenever he needed them to. He was half sure that he’d be safe with them even if he jumped off the thousand foot tall cliff that was right in front of the cavern entrance. Of course, he wouldn’t risk his life like that, but he was confident that the boots would try to save his life.
"Gotta be magnetic, somehow?" He thought, "Magnetic fields? God, I wish I chose physics as a major back on Earth, it would’ve come in handy right now. What is electrical engineering good for here? Fixing lights?"
Jimmy spoke to himself as if he was a madman, but that didn’t stop him from exploring this place further. This corridor was full of other loot that he hadn’t looked at yet, but he was tempted to follow a tunnel that he found. He was hoping he’d find an armory.
No dinosaur, giant, or tribe would be a threat to him and his tribe if he equipped people with plasma guns. Giving such guns to cavemen might be a bad idea in the long run, but he wanted to have options.
The tunnel was long, he could see the end of it, perhaps a hundred meters, or over three-hundred feet away, but he didn’t like the look of it. If someone bothered to build a room so far away from the living quarters, then perhaps the room at the end of the tunnel shouldn’t be approached by commoners.
Nevertheless, his curiosity was killing him, so he kept following the tunnel, and kept his fingers crossed. If he didn’t die as a result, then this would be a good day. If he found some good loot behind that door, then this would be a great day!
"Don’t be a robo dino..." He started growing this albeit rational fear. "Please don’t be a robo dino... they probably don’t have hearts, I can’t kill them if I get pounced on."
Every step he took felt like he was walking closer to his doom, but he didn’t give up. He just assumed that his fears and gut feelings were over-performing, because he was in a very new situation. It was normal to be scared, or in his case, manically paranoid.
Jimmy eventually made it to the other side of the tunnel, and thankfully, the steel door that led to the room opened automatically. This was useful, because he didn’t want to jerk off in front of the door just to get in there. He made plenty of steel penetration efforts over the past few days, and wasn’t ready for a new challenge.
He walked into the room, with his empty plasma pistol pointed forwards, and prayed to whatever god was listening that he wouldn’t get shot, or mauled. Perhaps someone answered his prayers, in a way, because he was safe, but he did get spooked beyond measure once he walked into the room!
Jimmy found many creatures trapped in glass square-shaped containers. The containers were filled with some sort of liquid, which based on his assumptions, was used to keep the creatures alive. This was as sci-fi as things were going to get, he wasn’t even surprised, but there were about fifty containers stacked close to the walls around him, and some of the creatures looked absolutely horrifying, he couldn’t even identify them, so he could only imagine how unusable this place would be if any of the creatures broke free. Sci-fi horror at its finest.
"Yup... that’s a human." He held his head, as he looked at a container. "What the fuck were these bastards up to? Must scientists always play around with genes? Does this turn them on? Fucking sickening."
