Chaotic Sword Emperor-Chapter 70 – You also deserve it?

Chapter 70

"The ones getting beaten are from the Third Division!"
"The Fifth Division is beating up the Third Division?"
The returning students from the first four divisions couldn't believe their eyes. They even rubbed them to make sure they weren't seeing things. Wasn't it usually the Third Division beating up the Fifth Division?
"Just a month off, and the Fifth Division has become this strong?"
"Impossible! How could a mere vacation make the Fifth Division soar like this?"
After their initial disbelief, they were filled with rage. No matter the reason, the Fifth Division, which they often bullied, suddenly becoming fierce was something they couldn't tolerate!
"Are you rebelling?"
"How dare you commit violence in the classroom! Are you tired of living?"
"A bunch of trash! Looks like we didn't beat you hard enough before!"
The students from the first four divisions rolled up their sleeves, ready to fight. The old students from the Fifth Division exchanged glances, smirking slightly. They had successfully drawn the anger away from Su Mu.
"What are you doing!"
"Class is about to start, why are you all crowding at the door?"
A sudden shout made the old students stop in their tracks.
The old students from the Fifth Division turned pale at the sound. The instructor had arrived!
They quickly moved to shield Su Mu behind them.
"Forgot the rules after just a vacation? Everyone, sit down for class!"
A middle-aged man squeezed through the crowd, his face stern, holding two textbooks in his hands.
He was the instructor for the Cultivation class, Du Shijie!
"Hmm?" Du Shijie walked into the classroom and immediately saw eight old students from the Third Division lying on the ground, severely injured and even bleeding from their heads. His face darkened instantly.
He then looked at the old students from the Fifth Division, who looked like they had just finished fighting, with a cold glint in his eyes!
"Did you beat them?" Du Shijie asked icily. The old students from the Fifth Division took a step back, instinctively fearful, but they gritted their teeth and nodded.
"We did!"
"Nonsense!" Du Shijie roared, slamming the textbooks onto the podium, scaring the old students from the Fifth Division.
"Just a few pieces of trash like you, able to defeat the Third Division?"
"Speak! Who really did it?"
The old students from the Fifth Division took another step back, lowering their heads in panic. They had acted early to protect Su Mu, but it was seen through in an instant.
"Hmph." Du Shijie sneered. As expected, but who could have done it? Who in the Fifth Division had such strength?
"Speak up!"
"Committing violence in public, being so ruthless, such behavior can lead to immediate expulsion!" Du Shijie coldly said, "Think carefully!"
The old students from the Fifth Division shivered again, gritting their teeth in struggle. They had worked hard to join the Martial House. If they were expelled, they would fall far behind their peers, possibly for life!
"It was me!" Su Mu pushed through the old students and stepped forward, looking at Du Shijie with nothing but disgust.
Insults, suppression, threats—such a person was unworthy of being a teacher!
Du Shijie was puzzled at the sight of Su Mu. He didn't recognize him and thought he was too young. His first thought was that this was another scapegoat.
"Su Mu!"
"It's really him! He actually dared to come to class!"
"On the first day, he injured so many people. He's gone mad!"
"A trash with a broken Fate Palace dares to be so arrogant!"
"Su Mu!" Du Shijie echoed the exclamations of the old students, realizing this was the infamous Su Mu everyone had been talking about since the start of the term!
"So you're the trash with the broken Fate Palace, Su Mu!" Du Shijie said, his words and expression full of disdain. Such a student attending his class was an insult!
"Did you beat them like this?"
"Yes." Su Mu replied curtly, feeling even more disappointed. A teacher should educate without discrimination, yet this one was just as contemptuous as the others.
"Du Instructor, it's like this. Su Mu didn't know the rules when he first arrived. He sat in the front row, and then they attacked him. Su Mu was just defending himself!" An old student from the Fifth Division hurriedly explained, only to receive a cold glare from Du Shijie.
"Is that so?" Du Shijie said coldly, then sneered, glaring at Su Mu. "Not knowing the rules, getting beaten is what you deserve. You think you have a right to complain?"
"Hah..." Su Mu laughed in anger. This was a teacher? It was disgusting!
"Tell me, what are the rules? This is a place for everyone to attend class. Are the seats pre-assigned or their exclusive property? Why can't I sit there?"
"As a teacher, you're openly biased, distorting the truth. What right do you have to be a teacher?"
"Outrageous!" Du Shijie was so angry his face turned green and white. A newly admitted trash dared to speak to him like this!
"How dare you insult a teacher! Do you even respect the Martial House?"
"Don't try to put me on a pedestal. You're not worthy!" Su Mu retorted coldly, making Du Shijie's face turn red with anger, unable to speak for a moment.
"Junior brother, are you crazy!" The old students from the Fifth Division were shocked by Su Mu's boldness. They never expected him to openly insult a teacher, risking his future.
"Junior brother, apologize quickly! Apologize to the instructor, or your future will be ruined." An old student urged, not wanting Su Mu to ruin himself while helping them.
"What is there to fear?" Su Mu glanced at them. Apologize? Never!
He was here to find his fiancée, not to attend classes. And he wasn't wrong!
"That kid is really crazy!"
"Daring to insult a teacher, he's done for!"
The old students from the first four divisions were also shocked by Su Mu's boldness, then sneered. Insulting a teacher meant he was finished!
"Beast!" Du Shijie roared, raising his hand to strike Su Mu. But Su Mu stood firm, making Du Shijie regain a bit of composure. If he hit a student, he could lose his job, and the dean of the Fifth Division wasn't someone to mess with.
"Fine, very fine!" Du Shijie held back his anger, gritting his teeth and nodding, then slapped the podium.
"Then why did they beat you and not others?"
Du Shijie threw out a question that all bullied students hated the most. Hearing this, the old students from the Fifth Division clenched their fists in anger, their arms trembling. They hated this question the most but never dared to refute it, always swallowing their grievances.
Su Mu laughed again in anger, shaking his head. This time, he didn't refute, surprising everyone.
Du Shijie smiled smugly. He had used this question countless times, and it always worked, never failing!
Just when everyone thought Su Mu couldn't refute, he suddenly leaped forward and slapped Du Shijie across the face!
"Holy crap!" All the students were stunned, their minds going blank!
"Smack!"
A loud slap echoed, and the students recoiled in shock. Du Shijie stood there, dumbfounded, with a bright red handprint on his face!

"Now tell me, why did I hit you and not them?" Su Mu withdrew his hand, asking coldly.
"Kid, you're tough. That slap was beautiful!" Suddenly, the voice of the Mad Immortal Emperor echoed in Su Mu's mind, filled with excitement. That slap was so satisfying, it made him want to applaud!
