Cultivator in the Last Days-Chapter 113: We’re Here

Chapter 113

Chapter 113: We’re Here
Yu Shi Lan didn’t bother to think about it and instead turned the conversation back to the original trajectory.
"So, what do you think about it, Ting Ye?"
"Eh, I don’t mind." Mu Ting Ye grinned. "I’m a powerful fighter and Lin Yuan is my junior brother...."
"Senior brother!"
"I’m stronger than you," Mu Ting Ye said smugly.
"I’m older than you." Lin Yuan sneered.
"I’m stronger than you."
"I’m studying under Master earlier than you."
"I’m stronger than you."
"Can’t you give other reason than that?!" Lin Yuan was exasperated, but he was only greeted with the smug look from Mu Ting Ye.
Lin Yuan: "..." his fist is hardened.
Yu Shi Lan looked at the two people who were arguing and couldn’t help but laugh. She felt that these two people were really funny.
"Once the cat finished her business, let’s go to the training ground."
"Ok."
So Yu Shi Lan played the drama of putting Xiao Mao to the bathroom where she basically washed her hand and looked at the water from the faucet with some surprise. Because she could tell that the water was quite clean and it was not contaminated with the demonic Qi yet.
Even though some demonic beasts have appeared, the enviroment still hadn’t been corrupted.
’Is it because someone is slowing it down?’
She didn’t know for sure.
After all, Yu Shi Lan herself didn’t quite understand where these demonic Qi came from. Her knowledge from her previous life was almost nonexistent and couldn’t be relied on.
The stupid her was really holding herself back.
Not that she could do anything about it.
And Yu Shi Lan didn’t think that she could really ask Mu Ting Ye and Lin Yuan about this matter, so she simply kept it inside her mind for the time being.
She should just focus on getting stronger and finish her revenge first.
Once it was done...
She could try to figure out other things.
Yu Shi Lan didn’t stay long in the bathroom, mainly because she just wanted to play a short set of drama with the others. Once she had finished washing her hand, she followed Mu Ting Ye and Lin Yuan out of the mall.
"Are there any public training ground here?" Yu Shi Lan asked curiously.
"Technically no," Mu Ting Ye replied. "The training grounds belonged to the military because they have to train their soldiers. But there are a few empty areas that we can borrow as long as we have enough money and connection."
Yu Shi Lan nodded.
She was sure that the latter’s requirement was more important than the first one. After all, the contribution points were relatively easy to get in the early stage.
As long as they were willing to scavenge for supplies, it was not impossible to get a lot of supplies...
Well, technically, only those who knew whether the supplies were located would be able to do this. After all, the military had already cleaned the area before they implemented the contribution points system.
They should have made the plan early.
"Don’t worry, Ting Ye’s connection is enough to let us enter," Lin Yuan said with a grin.
Yu Shi Lan blinked her eyes.
Does Lin Yuan meant Mu Ting Ye’s private connection or it was his own connection?
There was a clear difference between the two of them, but she could see that Lin Yuan didn’t mean to tell her more.
Forget it.
Intelligence gathering was not her specialties and Yu Shi Lan felt headache just thinking about how to collect more information about the current situation from the other two. After all, she didn’t have much advantage in this matter.
Even in the cultivation world, she would rather spend money to buy the intelligence rather than looking for it on her own.
Some intelligence dealers were unscrupulous, though.
Yu Shi Lan rubbed her cheek when she remembered how she destroyed one of their agencies for selling her fake information. She nearly died when she went there and after she came back, she simply killed everyone.
That ended up with her being chased for the next few weeks before she killed all of her pursuers.
At that time, Yu Shi Lan and Xiao Mao cooperated with each other extremely well.
Well, it was pretty good.
"We’re here."
Mu Ting Ye lead them to the military grounds and after he showed his ID card, the soldiers opened the door for him. Since Lin Yuan and Yu Shi Lan were coming with him, they were not stopped either.
"Follow me and don’t wander around. There are many areas that can’t be accessed by ordinary people," Mu Ting Ye reminded.
"I know," Yu Shi Lan replied.
She was not so stupid.
"Meow..." <Miss, there’s item containing pure Qi nearby.>
Xiao Mao peeked out of Yu Shi Lan’s pocket and looked at one of the buildings. She sensed something that contained pure Qi inside, but she was not entirely sure about it.
Normally, only cultivators and items containing Qi would give her this feeling.
Since there shouldn’t be any other cultivators on the Green Planet, Xiao Mao guessed that it should be item containing Qi.
Is it an artifact?
If that was the case, then it would be amazing.
Xiao Mao suddenly felt a bit greedy.
Yu Shi Lan’s eyes flickered slightly when she heard Xiao Mao’s words.
Artifact?
Or some kind of magic weapon?
Yu Shi Lan knew very well that any items that could contain Qi for a long period of time was extremely valuable. While she had learn some formation and the basic use of runes and so on, but it was extremely limited.
At most, she could create some low ranked formation to protect herself.
But if she had to face a foundation establishment cultivators... those things were definitely useless and would be broken within a second.
After all, she only learned these miscellaneous things in order to feed herself in the early stage since it was so hard to get resources and all.
