Chapter 69

Chapter 69: Chapter 69: I’ll Pick That Peach Blossom for You
"Evan, you take Tilly and go first."
Elara Don handed the little girl to Evan Miles.
Evan took her, glanced at Elara, and finally suppressed all his emotions, leaving with his daughter.
He was a man, he couldn’t ignore the bigger picture and destroy the business his father entrusted to him.
Moreover, wasn’t Elara now deliberately keeping her distance from him?
As the car gradually drove away, Elara looked at Damon Hawke, "Mr. Hawke, you can leave too. My son can be picked up on his own, he doesn’t need anyone’s involvement."
Damon Hawke’s thin lips curled slightly, "Is that guy you mentioned as your boyfriend? Well, it’s settled, I’ve helped you nip this peach blossom."
He believed Evan Miles understood clearly and wouldn’t bother her again in the future!
"Mr. Hawke, when did I ever say my boyfriend was Evan Miles? Please don’t make assumptions, okay?"
Elara glared at him, noticing some commotion at the school, she quickly started walking ahead.
"Not Evan Miles? Then who else?"
Damon Hawke, with hands in pockets, leisurely followed her, receiving stares from all directions.
"Mr. Hawke, I have a son. Of course, my son has his own biological father, okay?"
Elara turned around, frowned, and said, "Can you stop following me, just leave already."
She had to use that hooligan to fend off the peach blossoms.
Even though she really wouldn’t have anything to do with the person.
"You found Bea’s biological father? Who is he?"
Damon Hawke was taken aback, his face slightly darkened.
"None of your business! Mr. Hawke, you can really go now!"
Following her around, she almost felt like a monkey being watched by others!
Just then, the school gate opened, and the children came running out one by one.
Elara couldn’t care less about Damon Hawke as she stood on tiptoes, looking into the school.
"Mommy!"
Dominic Hawke spotted Elara Don and Damon Hawke at a glance.
Excitedly, he ran over to them.
"Bea, why are you wearing a mask?"
Elara noticed that Dominic was wearing a mask, hiding his little face tightly, and found it a bit strange.
"The teacher said to wear a mask in crowded places, it’s hygienic."
Dominic’s black eyes sparkled, glancing at Damon Hawke beside him.
His dad was right in front of him, he didn’t dare to let him see his true appearance!
"You little thing!"
Elara didn’t think much of it, ruffled the little guy’s hair, and was about to leave.
Seeing Damon Hawke still standing there awkwardly, she frowned and said, "Mr. Hawke, why haven’t you left yet?"
"Of course I can’t leave because it’s your son who called me to pick him up from school."
Damon Hawke temporarily put aside the matter of Elara having a boyfriend, his eyes staring intently at the little guy.
Why did this little fellow, in a mask, resemble his own son so much?
"Bea, you..."
Elara was stunned, staring blankly at her son by her side.
"Mommy, Charlie told me he really likes you, and Uncle Hawke likes you too, so he really wants you to marry Uncle Hawke. Could you give Uncle Hawke a chance?"
Dominic Hawke’s eyes flickered with a bit of guilt, but he quickly straightened his small body.
He was stating the truth!
He just wanted Aunt Charlotte to be his mommy.
Elara looked into the little guy’s bright eyes, momentarily speechless.
Charlie nearly had a big accident because of her negligence, she felt guilty.
But...
"Bea, give Uncle a hug! It’s still early, where do you want to go play?"
Damon Hawke didn’t give Elara time to respond, picking up the little fellow, a hint of admiration flashing in his eyes.
This was a little helper!
He liked it!
"Uncle Hawke, can I go to the amusement park?"
Being held by his own father, Dominic secretly smiled, making a request.
For his entire life, he had stayed in the villa and never been to an amusement park.
Now pretending to be Bea to make a request, would his father agree?
"Of course you can, let’s go!"
Dad agreed!
Hmm!
As expected, home flowers are not as fragrant as wildflowers!
A biological son isn’t as good as a step-son!
Dominic thought sourly despite his joy.
"Hey, Mr. Hawke, put my son down, we’re not going anywhere, we’re going home."
Elara watched as Damon Hawke, with his long legs, carried Dominic into the car and hurriedly chased after them as she realized.
This man, can’t he not be so self-centered!
He wanted to take her son to the amusement park, did she agree?
"Charlotte, your son is a boy. Do you really want his world to be filled only with your presence, turning him into a timid sissy?"
Damon Hawke pulled the car door, his eyebrows slightly raised.
Elara: "..."
What sissy?
Who said that being with females only would turn him into a sissy?
"Mr. Hawke, could you please stop fearmongering?"
"Oh, I was wrong. If his world only has you, he won’t become a sissy but a mommy’s boy."
Elara: "..."
This man, does he have to hit so close to home?
Elara glared at him, encountered his smiling, teasing eyes, and furiously got into the car.
"Taking me for a chauffeur? Come to the front."
Damon Hawke raised an eyebrow, his tone undeniable.
"Not a chauffeur, then what do you want to be?"
Elara glared at him again, her words full of disdain, yet her feet moved towards the passenger seat.
She feared if she didn’t listen, someone would keep pestering her.
In the backseat, Dominic’s little mouth under the mask curved, merrily smiling.
Were dad and Aunt Charlotte flirting?
How loving, isn’t it!
The car sped all the way to the amusement park.
Elara held Dominic’s hand, standing in a corner, watching Damon Hawke queue for tickets, her eyes full of complexity.
The man’s figure was tall, even among the crowd, he was the most dazzling star.
The women around had long set their sights on him.
Such a noble man, yet willing to lower himself to accompany her son to play.
She was touched, but she didn’t want to continue.
Once they were back, she would have a good talk with her son.
"Let’s go."
Damon Hawke bought the tickets and came over to hold Dominic’s hand.
Dominic was in a good mood, holding Elara with his left hand and Damon with his right, proudly straightening his back amidst the attention from all directions.
Hmm, if Aunt Charlotte was willing to marry Dad, then he’d be the happiest kid in the world!
"Mommy, Uncle Hawke, I want to go play there first."
Dominic pointed at the huge inflatable castle, his eyes bright.
"Go ahead, be careful."
Elara, though lacking interest, didn’t show it.
Her son hadn’t been to an amusement park, this was her failure as a mother.
Today she was going to let him have a good time.
The little one took off his shoes and ran into the inflatable castle.
Elara moved a few steps aside, staying far from Damon Hawke.
Was he considered invisible?
Damon Hawke raised an eyebrow, the corners of his mouth slightly curved.
He was planning to walk over when he heard a coy female voice nearby.
"Handsome, you look a lot like a celebrity, can I add you on WeChat?"
Someone was hitting on him?
Damon Hawke turned his head and saw several women batting their eyelashes at him.
The overwhelming scent of perfume made him want to sneeze.
