Chapter 101: Chapter 100: The party disaster VI
Athena let a small, cold smile curl her lips. "I’m sure they do. But I’d hate to remind you some lessons... are unforgettable for a reason."
Adrianna’s mouth opened, trying to spit back something cutting, but her voice caught halfway. Her fingers clenched so hard beside her. But then her lips curved slowly as if, she just remembered something
"You look... different," she purred, voice dripping mockery. "Hotter than usual, maybe? Or... maybe you’re just... more reactive than I thought."
Athena’s eyes snapped to hers, flashing dangerously. "Did you... put something in my drink?" Her voice was low, shaking with controlled fury.
Adrianna’s grin widened. Finally. The reaction she’d been waiting for. The look on Eryx’s princess face was priceless.
"Oh? Did I?" she teased, letting her words linger. "Maybe... maybe I did. But you’re finally showing me some fire. That’s cute, princess."
She looked over her shoulder at the two guys behind her, who were visibly stiff with anticipation. "Have fun with her," she said casually, as if issuing an order. "And make sure to get it on camera. I mean... since Athena loves to trend, I thought I’d help her out."
And just like that, she turned, heels clicking on the tile, and left. The bathroom door swung shut behind her, the sound echoing in Athena’s ears like a cruel drumbeat.
Athena’s eyes widened, pulse racing. Shock, fury, heat all colliding. Her chest heaved as she tried to swallow down the sudden panic building in her stomach.
The two guys who remained didn’t move away. Their eyes had locked onto hers, pupils dark, wild, hunger blazing in their gaze.
Don’t... don’t you dare come near me, she thought, teeth gritted. Her body trembled not just from fear, but from that maddening heat curling in her veins.
"Calm down," she muttered to herself, voice low and almost a hiss. Calm down... Athena...calm down.
But even as she told herself to regain control, the blood in her veins screamed, and her heart slammed against her ribcage.
Athena barely had time to register before the first guy’s hands were on her, pressing her back against his chest. She froze for a split second...then her instincts screamed. She twisted, shoved him away. Her hand shot back, landing a sharp, stinging slap across his face.
He groaned, stumbling back slightly, but before she could catch her breath, the second guy swung, hitting her across the cheek. Stars exploded behind her eyes. Her vision blurred.
Before she could even process it, he grabbed her, hoisting her effortlessly onto his shoulder. Athena’s scream ripped out of her throat, raw and desperate. Her hands pounded against his back, her nailed digging into his back, her hair slipping loose from her shoulders.
"Eryx! Theodore! Rhydric! Azrael! Somebody...help me!" Her voice cracked as tears pricked her eyes, streaming hot down her cheeks.
They’re...they’re wolves right? They should be able to help me...they’ve sharp sense right?
The sound of the music outside was deafening, pounding through the walls like a heartbeat she couldn’t match. She realized with a sinking dread that nobody could hear her. The party...the lights, the chaos was far enough that her cries were swallowed before they could escape the bathroom hallway.
"No! No! No! I won’t...I won’t let you do this!" Her chest heaved. She choked on her tears, gasping, trying to catch control of herself. Every instinct in her body screamed to fight, to survive, to not give in.
The first guy tightened his grip, and she kicked and thrashed, nails digging into his arm. But he didn’t falter.
They reached a room far enough from the music that it became silent in comparison, echoing only with the sounds of her panicked breaths and their rough movements. Athena’s heart hammered in her chest, every pulse screaming warning.
Her hands clawed at him, pushing, hitting, shoving. "You bastards! I will destroy you if you touch me! You hear me? I swear i..."
The tears broke even more. Her mind spun, thinking frantically of the Phantom Fours, anyone...just anyone who could intervene. She wasn’t giving up. She couldn’t.
They tossed Athena onto the bed, the mattress dipping beneath her. She tried to scramble backward but her limbs felt heavy. Her pulse roared in her ears. The room tilted. The drug dragged at her, tightening its grip with every second.
One guy grinned. The other lifted his camera, already recording.
Athena’s breath hitched. Her body felt wrong, too sensitive, but her mind screamed no over and over.
One of them stripped off his shirt, climbing onto the bed. He forced her legs apart and planted himself between them. Athena gasped, trying to push him away, but her strength was evaporating, slipping away like water between her fingers.
Her arms trembled violently as she hit him again, again, again but her hits were weak, pathetic compared to what she normally could do. Her hit felt like she was seducing him. And it looked like he’s enjoying every bit of it.
"Stop...don’t..." Her voice cracked.
Her body was betraying her by moving closer to the idiot.
He leaned down, burying his face against her neck...
And the door slammed open and Eryx stood at the door.
For a full second, no one moved.
The guy on top of Athena fled off her body and the other one with the camera dropped it with a clatter.
Eryx’s eyes locked on Athena first.
She was sprawled on the bed, legs still parted as she lifted her hips off the bed. Her cheeks flushed an unnatural red, her chest rising and falling in uneven, desperate breaths. She bit down on her lip as if fighting her own body, pupils blown wide, her hips shifting restlessly against the sheets in a way she clearly wasn’t trying to do.
She’d been drugged. Badly.
Eryx’s jaw flexed, but he dragged his gaze away from her and fixed it on the two guys.
Everything inside him snapped.
His wolf snarled, savage and murderous, pushing against his skin. He didn’t fight it this time. He embraced it.
In a blur of movement, he seized both men by the shoulders, flames already crackling at his fingertips. Before they could scream, he teleported, dragging them through fire and shadow into the middle of a jungle.
He wasn’t going to burn them in front of his princess. There was no way he was going to let her pure soul witness such a thing.
They collapsed to their knees immediately, shaking, begging, stumbling over their own words.
Eryx didn’t hear a damn thing.
His eyes were pure death. His vision turned red as his wolf fought to let out and he did. Flames erupted from his palm, scorching the their body. The men screamed as the fire licked up their bodies but Eryx didn’t care. He wanted them to feel it. He wanted them to feel the agony they intended to put his princess through. To feel everything they intended for her.
And more.
And if by any miracle they woke up. He would burn them again.
When the fire died, he didn’t hesitate, teleported back.
.
.
.
Eryx teleported back into the room, his heart hammering in his chest. Athena was still moving restlessly on the bed, trembling, shivering, heat radiating off her in waves. Without a second thought, he crossed the room and wrapped her in his arms, pressing her against him with the urgency of a predator and the tenderness of a protector all at once.
"It’s okay... Princess," he murmured, voice low, rough with tension, his lips brushing the top of her hair. "I’m here now. No one... no one will ever touch you like that again."
