“W-Who are you?!”
“What do you want?!”
Startled by his sudden appearance, the crowd flinched and immediately showed hostility. It was understandable, as from their perspective, Siegfried could easily be a knight of the Holy Alliance.
“Everyone, please calm down. My name is Siegfried van Proa,” Siegfried said, revealing his identity in an effort to calm them down.
An elderly priest who had been leading the people stepped forward toward Siegfried.
Then, with trembling hands and voice, he asked, “N-No way... Are you truly His Majesty, King Siegfried van Proa?”
“Yes, I am. Here, look for yourself,” Siegfried replied with a nod.
With those words, he removed his Metamorphosis Mask and revealed his face.

That’s right! This is my owner punk!” Hamchi exclaimed, vouching for his identity.

Recognizing Siegfried, the elderly priest dropped to his knees and offered a prayer to the god he believed in.
“Thank you! Thank you, O God! You have sent us a savior!”
The others present also knelt and began to pray to their own gods.
Siegfried’s arrival was nothing short of a miracle to them, as they had all been prepared to embrace martyrdom in order to exact revenge against the Holy Alliance.
“All right, everyone. Let’s take a deep breath first and calm down,” Siegfried addressed the crowd. Then, he said, “I can more or less guess what you were planning to do here, but please, I urge you not to go through with it.”
“But Your Majesty. We are persecuted in this city and forced to live in hiding for the remainder of our days with no future in sight. It has already been several months since we started hiding out in these sewers. If we do not do anything now, then—”
“No, you misunderstood me. I will do what you were planning in your place. That’s why you should go somewhere safe, somewhere you are free to practice your faith without any worries,” Siegfried cut him off.
As he spoke, Siegfried placed the Inzaghi’s Door Knob onto the door of the septic tank’s control room.

A warm light began to radiate from the control room door as a warp gate slowly formed.
“This is a warp gate leading to the Proatine Kingdom. It will be complete in a moment, and it will get you out of this hellhole.”
“R-Really?”
“Of course,” Siegfried gave a firm nod in response. Then, he urged once again, “Don’t throw away your lives here for nothing. Go somewhere you’re free to worship, somewhere you can rebuild your order with your leaders.”
“Your Majesty...!”
“And I’ll be sure to send Bismarck II a little gift from you, too.”
Moved by Siegfried’s words, those gathered abandoned their plan for martyrdom and decided to escape to the Proatine Kingdom instead. There was no reason for them to throw away their lives in vain when there was such a far better alternative.
Then, at last, the warp gate to the Proatine Kingdom fully opened.
“Thank you, Your Majesty! Truly, thank you!”
“Please take care of yourself, Your Majesty!”

Each of them offered Siegfried words of deep respect before disappearing into the warp gate.

Siegfried ordered the Irradiators to remain in the sewers for the time being. Then, he ascended the storm drain with Hamchi in tow. His plan was to scout ahead and clear a path so the Irradiators could infiltrate unnoticed.
