Debuff Master-Chapter 1046

Chapter 1046

Chapter 1046
Just as Tae-Sung and Yong Seol-Hwa's lips were about to meet—
Vroom!
Two large SUVs suddenly came speeding down the narrow path at an incredible pace.
“Huh?”

Eh?”
Both Tae-Sung and Yong Seol-Hwa were forced to pull away from each other, ruining the perfect moment.
The SUVs drove so fast that they had already arrived at the parking lot in front of the villa.
“W-What’s going on...? Were you expecting anyone else?” Tae-Sung turned to her and asked.
“N-No, I wasn’t. This is my dad’s private villa, so there shouldn’t be anyone coming here,” Yong Seol-Hwa replied, looking just as baffled as he was.
“Really? Then who are those—”
It was then.
“Hyung-nim!”
One of the SUVs opened, and Seung-Gu appeared, shouting and waving at Tae-Sung, who was still sitting on the bench.
“Hey! I’m here, Han Tae-Sung!”
Cheon Woo-Jin emerged from the vehicle as well.
“I’m here too, Tae-Sung!”
“Hello, oppa!”
Even Daytona and Gosran showed up, both of them waving enthusiastically.
But they weren't the only ones here...
From the other SUV, the legendary pro gamers, Yong Tae-Pung, Han Sang-Gi, Park Gi-Don, Kim Han-Yong, and Kim Gi-Tae emerged, waving at Tae-Sung.
“W-What the hell is going on? Why are all of them here?” Tae-Sung asked, completely stunned.
“You can’t start an MT[1] like this without warning, hyung-nim!” Seung-Gu exclaimed.

Huh?
MT?”
“Yes, hyung-nim.”
“What are you even talking about?”
Tae-Sung couldn’t make sense of Seung-Gu’s words at all, as he had never suggested to anyone that they should go on an MT in the first place. He had just been lounging around at home with nothing to do when, by chance, Yong Seol-Hwa had dragged him all the way out here.
“When did I ever do that?” Tae-Sung grumbled.

Huh?
Senior Tae-Pung told us that you wanted to do an MT, hyung-nim,” Seung-Gu replied, tilting his head in confusion.
“Uncle did...?”
Hearing Seung-Gu’s words, Tae-Sung slowly turned to look at Yong Tae-Pung.
However, before Tae-Sung could say anything, someone else was already glaring at Yong Tae-Pung—it was none other than Yong Seol-Hwa.
Yong Seol-Hwa briskly walked up to him and said, “Dad.”
“Y-Yeah?” Yong Tae-Pung stammered in response, instinctively taking a step back after shrinking from her overwhelmingly fierce aura.
“Let’s have a little talk, shall we?” she said, linking her arm tightly around his.
“A t-talk?”
“Yes, Father.”
“E-Everyone seems to be here, so it wouldn’t be polite if we left—"
“No, we will have our talk. Right. Now.”
“...”
“Let’s go.”
“W-Wait a second! Seol-Hwa! I just wanted to—”
“Come. Quickly.”
And just like that, Yong Tae-Pung was dragged off by his daughter behind the villa built from hinoki cypress wood.

Haha... Hahaha...”
Tae-Sung let out a hollow laugh as he watched the two disappear behind the villa.
He had no idea what exactly was happening, but one thing seemed to be clear.
Yong Tae-Pung had definitely stuck his head in something he wasn't supposed to.
***
A few hours earlier...
“What? Seol-Hwa went there?”
Yong Tae-Pung had received a call from the caretaker of the villa, informing him that his daughter had suddenly shown up at the villa.
But that was not all...
“What?! Tae-Sung went there with her?!
There?!”
Yong Tae-Pung exclaimed, startled out of his mind.
He had always hoped that his daughter, Yong Seol-Hwa, would end up with Han Tae-Sung, his cherished junior and this generation’s top pro gamer. If she were to get married one day, he thought that Tae-Sung would be the ideal match for her.
However, he suddenly changed his mind now that the possibility of
something
actually happening had popped up.

M-My precious Seol-Hwa is... spending the night with that punk? N-No way! It’s too soon for that!’
He couldn’t just sit back and watch his daughter spend the night alone with Tae-Sung at the villa. As her father, he was not emotionally prepared to deal with something like this.
“W-What do I do...?!” Yong Tae-Pung panicked, pacing up and down while agonizing over what to do.
Then, he made up his mind.

No! Not yet! That wolf in sheep’s clothing! I won’t let this happen! Over my dead body!’
Without a moment’s hesitation, Yong Tae-Pung began calling up Tae-Sung’s teammates one by one and invited them all to his private villa.
Of course, he lied to them. He told them that Tae-Sung had asked everyone to come to the villa for an MT.
As a result...
“Seol-Hwa...?”
Yong Tae-Pung now had to face the consequences of his actions.
“Father? You knowingly did this, didn’t you?” Yong Seol-Hwa growled, fury blazing in her eyes.
“W-What?! N-No, it’s not like that! I just wanted to spend some happy, quality time with my beloved daughter! That’s all! Really!” Yong Tae-Pung exclaimed, waving his hands desperately.
Unfortunately, there was no way that kind of excuse was going to work.
“You honestly expect me to believe that?”
“I-It’s the truth! I swear!”
“DAD!” Yong Seol-Hwa shrieked, her voice echoing through the woods. Then, she screamed, “Your one and only daughter is finally trying to enjoy a normal romantic moment, and you come in just to ruin it?! What?! What’s wrong with you?!”
“Seol-Hwa...!”
“Is it so wrong for us to have a peaceful, private conversation? The mood was perfect, yet you had to ruin it!”
“M-Mood?! It was p-perfect?!” Yong Tae-Pung stammered, his hands trembling. Then, he asked nervously, “Seol-Hwa...? You don’t mean to say that... you two were about to s-s-s-leep together—?”
“DAD!”

Hiiik!”
“What the hell are you even saying?! Is that really all you can think about?! Do you honestly believe I’d do something so irresponsible with him?!”
“But... all men are wolves. Tae-Sung might look innocent, but in reality, he’s—”
“Fine. If that’s how you want to play it, then I’ve got my own methods too,” Yong Seol-Hwa cut him off.
“M-Methods...? What methods?”
“The yacht you just bought. The super expensive one? It cost around... what, five billion won?”
“W-What?! How do you even know about that?!”
“I’m sure Mother would love to hear about it. How many yachts are we at now? Five?”
Yong Tae-Pung was worth hundreds of billions, and he had a hobby of collecting yachts.
Having a hobby was not a problem in itself, but the problem was that his hobby was an absurdly expensive one. It was a hobby that would guarantee a good smacking from his wife if she ever found out.
If the fact that he had just bought a yacht worth five billion won got exposed, then he would be looking at a month of nonstop nagging at best. No, he could even get kicked out of the master bedroom and be forced to sleep on the couch. In the worst-case scenario, he could get thrown out of the house entirely.
“Well, since you decided to go this far. I suppose I have no choice but to tell mom the truth.”
“Seol-Hwa! No! Please! Anything but that—”
Yong Tae-Pung panicked and tried desperately to stop her, but Yong Seol-Hwa was already furious beyond reason. She already had her phone in her hand and started calling her mother’s number.
“Hi, Mom. It’s me. Yes, mom. I have something to tell you. So actually, dad went and bought a luxury yacht worth five billion won, and—”
“Noooooo! Seol-Hwa! D-Don’t! Please!”
Yong Tae-Pung’s desperate cry rang through the forest like a man being dragged to the execution grounds.
In other words, Yong Seol-Hwa just sentenced Yong Tae-Pung to death.
The moment his new yacht purchase was exposed to his wife, the Living Legend, Yong Tae-Pung, was finished.
***
The romantic evening Yong Seol-Hwa planned to spend with Tae-Sung had suddenly devolved into a wild drinking party—all thanks to Yong Tae-Pung’s trolling.
“Time for Seung-Gu’s random game! Random game! Game start!”
The uninvited guests were sprawled out across the living room, drinking themselves senseless as they roared with laughter and played drinking games, completely oblivious to what Tae-Sung and Seol-Hwa were going through.
The only saving grace was that Yong Tae-Pung was no longer there.
— Where are you right now, dear? Come home. Right. Now.
Summoned by his wife, who was like the heavens and the law to him, Yong Tae-Pung had to run back to Seoul in a hurry.
Even so, Yong Seol-Hwa’s fury had yet to subside.
“Seriously, I can’t stand any of them right now.”
“Just take a deep breath, Seol-Hwa.
Hahaha...”
Tae-Sung had to practically beg her not to kick everyone out of the villa, as she looked ready to do that at any moment now.
But what else could they do? It was not like they could just throw out a bunch of drunken idiots who had come all the way to a remote villa in Chuncheon in the middle of the night.
Still, as the saying went—fortune favored the desperate.
“Seol-Hwa?”
“Yes, unni?”
“Let’s go get some fresh air.”
“Okay.”
Surprisingly, Gosran suggested going for a walk and gently led Seol-Hwa out of the villa.
“Do you want to come with us, Tae-Sung oppa?”
“M-Me, too?”
“Yes.”

Eh...?”
“Let’s go, oppa.”
And so, the two followed after Gosran and stepped out.
“Oh? I wanna go out for a bit too!
Hic!
I’m so drunk I need some air!”
As clueless as ever, Seung-Gu suddenly shot up and tried to follow them.
However, he couldn’t make it outside.
“Stay right here quietly,” Gosran leaned in and whispered softly in his ear.

Huh?
Why?”
“Unless you want to get seriously fucked.”

Hiiik?!”
In the end, Seung-Gu shut his mouth tight and curled up like a child in a corner, cowering under Gosran’s menacing glare.

Ahem!”
“Look at that empty glass!”
“Here, have another glass!”
The rest of the drunken guests immediately caught the shift in mood, so they immediately pretended to know nothing and busied themselves with pouring drinks.
Thanks to that, Tae-Sung, Seol-Hwa, and Gosran were able to slip outside without anyone else trying to tag along.
“Well then, enjoy your time together.
Hohoho!”
Gosran said with a smile before discreetly stepping away, giving Tae-Sung and Yong Seol-Hwa some time alone.
“U-Unni!” Yong Seol-Hwa exclaimed, surprised by the little gesture.
She knew that Gosran had feelings for Tae-Sung, too, so she was pretty shocked by Gosran's move.
“I’m not like you, Seol-Hwa. And right now, I’m not thinking about any of that,” Gosran said with a smile. Then, she added, “Honestly, you two make a good match.”
With those words, she turned and headed back to the villa.

Well, they really do look good together. I hope it blossoms into something beautiful,’
she thought, smiling as she walked away. Even though she once liked Tae-Sung, seeing the two of them together like this somehow made her happy, too.
***
Thanks to Gosran’s thoughtful gesture, Tae-Sung and Yong Seol-Hwa were finally able to spend some time alone again, just the two of them. They held hands as they walked through the forests, taking their first steps together as a new couple.
It was then.
Tae-Sung stopped walking and turned to face her. “Seol-Hwa?”
“Y-Yes, oppa?” Yong Seol-Hwa responded.
He slowly pulled her into an embrace, and she didn't resist. Instead, she wrapped her arms around him, too.
There they stood, wrapped in each other’s embrace.
Swoosh!
Eventually, their lips met, and they shared a kiss beneath the moonlight.

A-Ah...”
A moan escaped from Yong Seol-Hwa’s lips. She couldn’t describe the feeling with any words, and she could only moan to express her raw, unfiltered emotion. And so, beneath the faint moonlight that slipped through the cypress trees, Tae-Sung and Yong Seol-hwa shared their first kiss.
This moment marked the beginning of something new. Tae-Sung’s life as a single-since-birth bachelor in the real world had finally come to an end.
