Debuff Master-Chapter 1051

Chapter 1051

Chapter 1051
Siegfried had no way out.
Absolute Zero was on cooldown, and the winds pressing down on him were so strong that using any other of his main skills was simply impossible.
The winds bound him so perfectly that he couldn’t move a single finger, and he could only stand there, frozen, seemingly waiting for the guillotine to execute him.

N-No...!’
However, Siegfried refused to die like this. His willpower surged, and aura blades formed around him.
Rumble!
Since he couldn’t move his body, he turned to using Transcendent Torrential Flower Rain and Flying Sword. Then, he focused all of his senses on controlling the aura blades and blocking the sword coming for his neck like a guillotine.
Claaang!
The aura blades deflected Nigellus’ sword, which almost brought about Siegfried's demise.
Of course, he did not stop there.

Swarm him!’
The Transcendent Torrential Flower Rain raged viciously, swarming toward Nigellus.
There was a saying that one ought to use one's gums if one had no teeth. Since he couldn't move, Siegfried resorted to using the aura blades and moving them solely by his will, but...
“Is that your last stand?” Nigellus asked, sounding unimpressed. He blocked the aura blades coming at him at breakneck speeds with little to no effort. His movement was so fast, just like lightning, and even the aura blades couldn’t do anything against him.

Damn it... Is this the difference in our level?’
Siegfried realized just how massive the gap was between himself and the angel.
Nigellus’ defense, stamina, power, speed, reflexes, and combat instincts were simply in a whole different league.
“So, is this all you have? Are you done?” Nigellus sneered. The angel had already blocked all of Siegfried’s aura blades and was now standing right in front of him.

Ah...’
Siegfried, standing face to face with the angel, felt just how powerless he truly was. He couldn’t even use Demon Lord’s Descent and was being crushed, not by an Archangel, but by just an angel.
“Do you finally understand your place, insect? In our eyes, nuisances like you are nothing more than annoying flies,” Nigellus sneered.

Grrgh...”
“It’s time for you to pay the price for your—”
Ziiiiing!
A golden laser beam struck Nigellus hard.

Argh!”
The laser beam struck the angel so hard that he was blasted several dozen meters away.
A mysterious voice echoed. “You talk too much for a bug.”
The voice belonged to none other than Hamchi, standing in his true form.
“H-Hamchi?!” Siegfried was completely taken aback, as he had not seen Hamchi’s true form for quite a long time now. Hamchi was the son of the Spirit King, one of the rulers of the Spirit Realm. He was a Great Spirit, and his true form was that of a very handsome man with silver hair.
If an analogy were to be made using the standards of the Celestial Realm, Hamchi would rank higher than the highest-ranking angels but slightly below an Archangel.
“W-Will you be all right after this?” Siegfried asked, sounding worried. He knew that whenever Hamchi transformed into his true form, he would end up bedridden for a while after, as the energy consumption of the said transformation was massive.
Hamchi glanced sideways at Siegfried and asked, "Hey, owner punk. How long are you planning to stay weak?”
“...What?”
“I’ll help you, so let’s finish this up quickly.”
“O-Okay.”
Siegfried still hadn't gotten used to Hamchi’s true form, so he couldn’t help but feel awkward and hesitant.
Hamchi in his hamster form and in his true form were completely different. He was different not only in looks but also in personality, so Siegfried couldn’t help but feel unfamiliar with him.
However, Hamchi was not the only one coming to Siegfried’s aid.
Fswoooosh! Baaam!
A cross crashed down from the sky, slamming into the ground right in front of Siegfried.
“Hey, Han Tae-Sung. Looks like you need my help this time,” Chae Hyung-Seok said smugly.

Are you trying to have a go at me right now?’
Siegfried growled inwardly, as he did not like the tone in Chae Hyung-Seok’s voice.
From Siegfried’s point of view, Chae Hyung-Seok was basically saying that he couldn’t win without his help.
Still, Siegfried didn't bother calling him out.
Why?
It was all because he
truly
needed Chae Hyung-Seok’s help.
With Demon Lord’s Descent unavailable, he needed the best of the best when it came to buffs, and the only one who could do that was none other than Chae Hyung-Seok.
***
“Go! Han Tae-Sung! I choose you!” Chae Hyung-Seok shouted as he began casting all of his buffs. However, this was not the area-of-effect buffs that he usually cast, as he was pouring everything he had into buffing Siegfried.
[Alert: Your Strength has increased!]
[Alert: Your Strength has increased!]
[Alert: Your Strength has increased!]
[Alert: Your Strength has increased!]
(omitted...)
[Alert: Your Strength has increased!]
And the effect was absolutely staggering...
Chae Hyung-Seok focused solely on stacking strength onto Siegfried, layering them one after another in almost infinite succession.
And the result?

...Huh?
” Siegfried blinked a few times, stunned.
He noticed that his immobilized body could now move once again. He had been completely bound like a condemned man waiting for execution, but now, he could move once again.

Is my Strength high enough now to resist the wind pressure?’
Siegfried wondered.
His hunch was correct. One of the special abilities that Chae Hyung-Seok had obtained after becoming the Demonic Cross: Hyungseokius was the power to perceive any situation with absolute clarity.
While he was on the cross, he could determine exactly what buff was most needed at that moment.
Right now, he knew that what Siegfried needed more than anything else was brute strength to counter the overwhelming wind pressure pinning him down.
“You damn insects,” Nigellus growled.
The angel staggered to his feet after getting blasted back by Hamchi’s golden laser beam, and he glared at all three of them, his face twisting in fury.
“How dare you!”
At his roar, a violent gale surged forth, swallowing Siegfried, Hamchi, and Chae Hyung-Seok.
However, Nigellus’ winds weren't as effective against Hamchi and Chae Hyung-Seok as they had been against Siegfried.
Thanks to Chae Hyung-Seok’s buffs, Siegfried’s strength had risen by a whopping two hundred fifty percent, allowing him to break free from the crushing wind pressure.
On the other hand, Chae Hyung-Seok was invulnerable while he was on the Demonic Cross.
As for Hamchi, he had transformed into his true form, so something trivial like wind barely affected him at all.
In other words, Nigellus’ most powerful ability had just been neutralized.
In other words...
“Let’s see whether you’re really skilled or just relying on your stats,” Siegfried said with a smirk, gripping his +16 Vanquisher’s Grasp tightly.

It’s doable now,’
Siegfried thought confidently.
With Hamchi and Chae Hyung-Seok assisting him, he was confident that he could win against Nigellus. Yes, the angel outclassed him in terms of raw stats, but he had no doubt that he surpassed his opponent in terms of skill.
After all, an angel of the highest rank wasn't necessarily a seasoned warrior.
On the other hand, Siegfried had fought and survived thousands of battles and committed countless massacres. He was forged in the fires of chaos and tempered by situations where he had to repeatedly put his life on the line.
As long as the playing field was level, he truly believed that he would not lose to anyone.

Time to amp up my debuffs, too!’
Siegfried activated Discharge and cranked up both Eternal Flames and Embrace of Despair to the fullest, both skills that were already afflicting Nigellus.
Rumble!
His mana drained at an incredible rate, but Siegfried did not care about that. He was fighting the most powerful among the angels, so he focused on winning this battle, even if he exhausted all of his mana.
Baaam!
As soon as Siegfried’s +16 Vanquisher’s Grasp clashed with Nigellus’ sword...
“Arghh!”
To everyone’s shock, it was Nigellus who groaned in agony this time.
Unlike earlier, Siegfried managed to overpower him.

It’s working!’
Siegfried exclaimed inwardly. Pushing the advantage, he unleashed a barrage of attacks with fierce momentum.
“Y-You dare! You insect!” Nigellus roared.
He tried to use his winds to disrupt Siegfried’s movements and force him into creating openings like before, but the human didn't even flinch this time.
Thanks to Chae Hyung-Seok’s monstrous buffs, Siegfried could now brush aside the angel’s winds with ease.
“You wretched bastard!”
Before long, Nigellus began to fall apart under Siegfried’s ferocious assault. Now that the massive stat gap was narrowed down by the buffs, the difference in skill was slowly becoming obvious.
Siegfried’s attacks were getting sharper and more precise while Nigellus’ defense grew sloppier by the second.
As a result...
Bam!
Siegfried threw a low kick that hit Nigellus cleanly in the shin.

Aaack!”
Nigellus screamed in agony, his stance crumbling.
Baaam!
Siegfried immediately followed up by swinging his +16 Vanquisher’s Grasp and smashing Nigellus’ jaws.

Gahk!”
Nigellus coughed up blood.

Time to end it!’
Siegfried seized the momentum and prepared to use the secret technique of the Sword Emperor, Heaven Splitting Slash.
Shwiiiiik!
A diagonal cut tore across Nigellus’ chest as blood sprayed into the air like a geyser.
Chwaaaak!
His torso split open in a jagged line.
Nigellus possessed both an astonishingly high level and Defense, so he was not severed in half, but it was still a critical hit.
“Y-You insect dares to...!”
Despite his grievous wounds, Nigellus tried to attack out of a fit of rage, but it was already too late.
Kwachik!
Hamchi seized him from behind.
“Hey, you dumb owner punk.”
“...Y-Yes?” Siegfried stammered in response.
He still was not used to Hamchi’s true form and his voice, so he was caught off guard.
“Hit him.”
“...What?”
“You weren’t planning to just let this go, were you?”
“Of course not!”
“Good. I’ll hold him for you, so hit him to your heart’s content,” Hamchi said, tightening his grip on the angel and holding him out in front of Siegfried.
“O-Okay,” Siegfried replied, still sounding bewildered.
Then, he put his +16 Vanquisher’s grasp away and walked toward the angel.
“It’s payback time, you son of a bitch,” Siegfried said with a grin.
With that, he pummeled the living hell out of the helpless angel that Hamchi was restraining.
***
Meanwhile, the Allied Forces were sweeping through Ador City, cutting through the streets and alleys in every direction.
“Kill them all!”
“Over there! Push forward!”
“Enemy spotted! Pursuing!”
“You damn bastards! You’re not even human beings!”
Despite being made up of elite troops from different nations, the Allied Forces were efficiently and relentlessly plowing through the streets and rapidly claiming control over the city.

Ah!

“Your Imperial Majesty!”
Among the Proatine Empire’s imperial soldiers who were part of the Allied Forces, a squad moving to destroy an altar suddenly caught sight of Siegfried, but—
“...”
They were immediately rendered speechless, as what they saw was Siegfried viciously beating the living shit out of an angel with Hamchi holding the poor victim tightly in place.
“Head! Chest! Stomach!”

Guh! Gahk! Guuuh!”
“Square up, you bastard! Head! Chest! Stomach!”

Ackk!
H-Hey! You said head, chest, and stomach! But why are you just punching my solar plexus?!”
Unfortunately, the sight of Siegfried pummeling the angel, Nigellus, looked exactly like some neighborhood thug beating up a poor, defenseless civilian on the street.
To make things worse, even the dialogue matched that exact vibe.

Kekeke!
You got some nerve crawling into our turf like this! Get ready for some beating, ye son of a whore!” Siegfried snarled as he beat the defenseless angel.

Kuheok! Argh!”
“I’ll teach you a damn lesson!

Aaaargh!”
“Hey, I didn’t hit you that hard. Drop the act, ye bastard! Think that’ll save ye? Nah, think again! Eat this!”

Aaaaack!”
Those witnessing this sight without any context would think of this scene as a textbook case of some street urchin assaulting an innocent man. Ironically, Siegfried suited the role perfectly. The way he grinned made him look exactly like what he could be mistaken for.
