Even If I’m Reborn as a Cute Dragon Girl, I Will Still Make a Harem-Book 6: Chapter 92: Toward the Beautiful World

Book 6: Chapter 92: Toward the Beautiful World
“So that’s what happened, huh?”
After hearing the Dragon Eater’s account, a swirl of complex emotions churned within Lilith’s heart.
But what exactly was she feeling?
Anger?
Hatred?
The crushing realization that she had been nothing more than a puppet, used by Gerald the Dragon Ancestor to wield her power?
No…
It was pity.
“Huh?” The Dragon Eater gasped as Lilith suddenly stepped forward and embraced her.
“How pitiful.”
Of all the actors in this twisted tragedy, the Dragon Eater was the most tragic of them all.
Even Lilith had once basked in a false happiness.
But the Dragon Eater?
She had nothing.
Ever since Gerald deceived her, she had lost everything.
She had been a lonely soul, imprisoned in this space… Forever deprived of light.
“I’m sorry…”
“I told you, you don’t have to apologize.”
“No, I’m sorry I can’t do anything.”
Lilith squeezed her tightly, desperate to share even a sliver of warmth with this frozen soul.
But souls had no body heat.
“…No. This is already enough…” The Dragon Eater’s voice trembled, as if she were about to cry.
She returned the embrace just as tightly, whispering, “This is enough for me.”
After enduring eons of cold and cruelty, even this small warmth was enough to set her ablaze.
“…How about I give your body back to you?” After a long silence, Lilith finally asked, voice firm with resolve. “I’ve used it for so long already, and it’s more than enough…”
“No…” The Dragon Eater cut her off. “That’s not how this works, Lilith. This body is no longer mine.”
“Why not? Wasn’t it yours to begin with?”
“Because soul adaptation is mutual. As your soul adapts to the flesh, the flesh also adapts to your soul. When your soul is fully attuned to it… It becomes yours.”
“I can only take control of it for a short while now. Any longer, and the rejection would be far more violent than anything you ever experienced.” She sighed, as though she’d already come to terms with it long ago.
“…Then we can try a few times, just like I did when I was adapting to it. If a completely foreign soul like me could do it, then surely you, the original owner—”
“Nine million years, Lilith.”
The Dragon Eater closed her eyes. Pain once again returned to the face that looked identical to Lilith’s.
“Nine million years… is too long. I don’t want to go through the same torment again.”
“But what, then? Are you just going to stay here forever?” Lilith gripped her shoulders and shook her anxiously.
“Can you really accept that? Watching your enemies walk free while you remain trapped here, doing nothing? Can you?”
“Of course… not!” The Dragon Eater’s face darkened. Hatred blazed in her eyes.
“I refuse to die in peace until Gerald is torn to pieces!”
“In that case…”
“Don’t worry, Lilith. My revenge… has already begun.”
The Dragon Eater lifted her head, her gaze piercing the void as if seeing beyond the stars. A faint smile of satisfaction curved her lips.
“Yes, in my own way… Gerald must be very happy right now.”
“It has begun already?” Lilith looked up, confused.
But she saw nothing—only the gradually dimming golden drop of blood that the Dragon Ancestor had left behind.
The Dragon Eater gently patted Lilith’s head. “Thank you, Lilith. I know you want to do something for me, but… you really don’t have to. What happened to me was never your fault.”
“And don’t forget… You were the one destined for the most tragic ending in Gerald’s plan,” she said.
A puppet stripped of its soul… was far more pitiful than a prisoner in chains.
“I won’t let him succeed.” Lilith’s voice turned cold. “No matter who he is.”
“That’s wonderful, Lilith.” The Dragon Eater sighed softly, her tone tinged with envy. “If only I had your courage… the refusal to give in, no matter what.”
“…But I haven’t changed anything until now.” Lilith looked down, her voice small.
“No,” the Dragon Eater said firmly, hugging her tightly. “You’ve already changed so much. You just didn’t realize it.”
“I…” Lilith tilted her head, confused.
She didn’t realize it?
Could it be that she had somehow helped the Dragon Eater in her forgotten memories?
“But if you’re still feeling uneasy, then lend me your body for a little while. There’s something I’ve always wanted to do—something I have to finish before the end.”
“Of course. It was yours to begin with, anyway. You don’t even need to ask.”
Lilith scratched her head, then narrowed her eyes and added, “But if you use it for anything shady, or try to flirt with girls using my face, I’ll stop you.”
The Dragon Eater laughed softly, though sorrow lingered beneath her smile. “… But right now, you’re the owner of this body. I can’t use it without your permission.”

Above the ocean…
The waves crashed, and a girl slowly opened her eyes. She had slept through the night.
Her gaze drifted blankly across the sea as the wind howled in her ears. Her delicate brows knit, then eased. She looked as though she were relearning the world through her distant memories.
And then, the first light of dawn began to emerge from the horizon.
Flaming clouds churned, burning away the last traces of night.
The sun rose, steady and radiant.
A new day had begun.
It was nothing special, yet the girl stared at it for a long time, eyes wide and unblinking, as if afraid to miss even a single moment of its beauty.
The sun climbed higher, causing the water ripples to shimmer like fish scales, turning the ocean into something out of a dream.
The girl’s soft golden hair danced in the breeze as she stood still, completely lost in the wonder of it all.
That was until a fish leapt from the waves.
A splash of cold water drenched the hem of her skirt, jolting her out of her reverie.
“Oh no! I lost track of time!” She stomped her foot in mild frustration upon realizing that she had wasted precious time.
“Lilith! Why didn’t you say something?”
Lilith, who was watching everything play out like an audience in a movie theater, replied, *[ Because you looked so happy. I’m afraid you might be angry if I had interrupted the moment. ]*
“Well, now I’m mad! Ugh, time’s running out. I’ve gotta move.”
Blaming time instead of herself, she waved her hand. Black flames surged outward, carving a circular portal into the air.
Without hesitation, she stepped into it, walking toward the beautiful world she longed for.
