Chapter 549: Chapter 274 High Efficiency! (Four in One) _3
Each attack made the God of Light shudder intensely. She strove to maintain her defense, but with the passage of time, her divine power had weakened to its extreme.
The God of Light gritted her teeth, making every effort to withstand the attacks from all directions.
Cracks began to appear on her body, her Sacred light growing dimmer, her strength being completely weakened by the Skeleton Monsters.
Contrary to her growing weakness, the attacks of the Skeleton Monsters were becoming increasingly ferocious. Their arrows pierced through the God of Light’s defense, and the Energy of their Spells shredded her Divine Shield.
The God of Light could no longer hold on. Her form gradually faded, eventually dissolving into a beam of light and vanishing within the Holy Hall.
"Damn you, Dominator of the Undead! I’ll remember you! We will meet again!!!"
She barely managed to spit out this threatening remark before her end. Upon hearing this, Chen Mo felt as if he had heard the classic line, "I’ll be back..."
As the God of Light was forced to leave her medium and was sent back to the Divine Realm, only Chen Mo and countless Skeleton Monsters remained on the battlefield, silently witnessing her disappearance.
After the God of Light’s departure, the Holy Hall fell into an eerie silence.
The Skeleton Monsters stood still, as if awaiting Chen Mo’s next instruction.
This place had become their territory; no one would be able to resist their rule.
Chen Mo quietly observed the scene in the Holy Hall. Looking at the corpses of the Holy Hall guards littering the floor and the lifeless Holy Maiden, he felt neither joy nor sorrow in his heart.
He reached out and took the Eye of the Holy Spirit into his hand.
The Heavenly Dao is truly deceptive,
he thought.
If one simply obtained this Eye of the Holy Spirit, they would have no idea of its connection to the Profession Exclusive Divine Artifacts. It just looks like an ordinary component used to open the Tomb of Oblivion. If not for Moluo’s Brain’s reminder, it would have been easy to overlook the symbol engraved on the Eye of the Holy Spirit; after all, most people would assume it was an inherent part of the item upon first encountering it. This symbol is one of the indicators for the location of a Professional Exclusive Artifact Component for the Dominator of the Undead within the Tomb of Oblivion.
After stowing away the Eye of the Holy Spirit, Chen Mo wasted no time. Based on the location information from Moluo’s Brain, he used Divine Flicker and instantly arrived at the location of the Feather.
The target Chen Mo faced this time was different from the Holy Hall.
The Feather was locked onto an angel statue.
This angel statue was protected by a vast amount of Power of Faith, which couldn’t be broken by brute force. Some other means were required.
It would be best to find some filth to contaminate and erode this Power of Faith.
Following Moluo’s Brain’s suggestion, Chen Mo began his nefarious work.
He ordered his Skeleton Monsters to steal a large number of barrels from the city, collect all the wastewater from the city’s sewers, and continuously pour it onto the angel statue.
After a short while, the special ability on the angel statue began to waver.
After another round of dousing, the special ability on the angel statue completely shattered and dissipated.
At this point, it had lost the protection of the Power of Faith. The Feather on its back could now be taken directly.
It was just that the Feather was now somewhat smelly.
Chen Mo was visibly disgusted. He had a Skeleton Monster retrieve it, and then teleported with them to the entrance of the Tomb of Oblivion.
When he arrived, Zhui Yi had already secured the Hammer of Destiny and was waiting there.
"My Lord, I have completed the task you assigned," Zhui Yi said, taking out the hammer and handing it to Chen Mo.
Chen Mo took the hammer and, smiling, patted Zhui Yi’s small head, which was identical to his childhood playmate’s, saying, "Well done."
Zhui Yi seemed to greatly enjoy Chen Mo’s touch.
With all three Holy Artifacts gathered, Chen Mo began the process of undoing the Tomb of Oblivion’s Seal.
With a thought, he activated the three Holy Artifacts. They immediately flew towards three corners of the Tomb of Oblivion, forming an equilateral triangle.
After a short while, Chen Mo heard a CRACK, and the seal around the Tomb of Oblivion immediately shattered.
Seeing this, Chen Mo immediately entered the Tomb of Oblivion with Zhui Yi.
Upon entering the Tomb of Oblivion, Chen Mo felt a strange pressure envelop him. This pressure was like an invisible net, restricting his perception ability.
Although his perception ability was incredibly powerful, it was completely ineffective in this mysterious tomb. He could only rely on his limited vision to navigate the darkness.
The interior of the tomb was sinister and gloomy. Flickering green flames cast eerie light upon the desolate ground, which was scattered with broken bones and weathered stone tablets. Every inch of the land bore the deep imprints of Ghosts.
The air was permeated with a deep, cold aura—the scent of death. This was where the Dominator of the Undead had once stayed. Though cold, dark, and desolate, it possessed an ancient and mysterious allure.
They delved deeper into the tomb along a winding passage. Since the Skeleton Monsters could see farther in the dark, Chen Mo had them lead the way, while he and Zhui Yi followed closely behind.
Soon, they arrived at the center of the tomb. Here, there was a massive stone platform, around which were scattered ancient magic runes.
Under the glow of the green flames, these runes emitted an eerie light, as if narrating an ancient and distant story.
