Chapter 776

Chapter 776: Chapter 435: Noah’s Meeting with the Ancient God’s In-Laws (Part 2)
"Holy Dragon Emperor!"
"It truly is the Holy Dragon Emperor, I knew it!"
"Greetings to the Holy Dragon Emperor! May the Holy Dragon Emperor be victorious, and the legion be victorious!"
When Noah soared across the sky in his true form, even under the broad daylight, his presence was so overwhelming, it overshadowed everything, becoming the sole existence in the heavens and earth of that moment. It was almost impossible for all beings living in Elisium and its surroundings not to notice his presence.
Just by seeing the majestic form of the Holy Dragon, even from dozens of kilometers away, merely glimpsing a golden outline akin to the sun, one could feel a majesty, grandeur, and immensity that transcended all things in existence. It was truly like the sun in the sky—no, even more resplendent than the sun in the sky.
Seeing that merely his appearance caused millions upon tens of millions of people to bow and kneel, Noah beat his dragon wings, circling and soaring above Elisium City, with bits of crystalline golden light accompanying his flight path, sprinkling down from the sky.
When these bits of light descended and touched the kneeling Dragon-men, each one could feel their blood energy and even the fighting spirit or magic power within them becoming incredibly active.
An ultra-large scale blessing ceremony benefitting almost all of the 16 million residents of Elisium City was in place. Although each Dragon-man received only a modest benefit—increased cultivation speed for a day and the subsequent days—the vastness of its coverage was astounding. Such power was indistinguishable from the divine.
Roar~Howl~
One after another, Fire Dragons cultivated in the Dragon Domain and then domesticated, came to Noah’s side. The scales of these Fire Dragons, which should have been blood-red, now flowed with a luster as brilliant as liquid gold.
Golden Fire Dragons!
Became Sub-dragon Species transformed by the radiation of Noah’s bloodline, originally just companion Dragon Beasts of the Colorful Dragon, the Red Dragon. Their presence often signified the emergence and arrival of Red Dragons.
But now, these Golden Fire Dragons represented Noah’s power. However, these Golden Fire Dragons did not exist independently, as some had Golden Forbidden Army wearing magic-guided kinetic armor seated on their backs.
These were Dragon-men whose power was accepted by the Golden Fire Dragons, thus receiving enhanced transformation, elite among the Forbidden Army, described as indomitable beings within the army, labeled as Champion Knights.
Of course, this title hasn’t been officially recognized by Noah, as he intends to further select some from among the Champion Knights, granting the final winners the honorary title of Holy Chosen Champions.
Surrounded by many Champion Knights of the Fire Dragons, Noah broke into the Space Bridge constructed like rainbows, which still appeared this way due to the techniques bestowed by the Elf God.
Though Noah currently couldn’t build a complete Floating City, utilizing parts of the technology was not a problem.
However, the elves seemed to have also attempted to build a Floating City once, which presented many artistic merits and extreme beauty, not that beauty is considered bad, but it’s just a bit too ostentatious.
What’s most crucial is not to compromise performance for ultimate beauty, that is, practicality should always come first in war apparatuses, and as far as Noah is concerned, aesthetic appeal can stand behind.
Roar! Howl! Aw~
The Forbidden Army, although not the first legion to set foot on the Space Bridge, was indeed the first to charge out of the Space Bridge, arriving at the plane invaded by the Abyss and polluted.
When Noah descended into the Michigan Material Realm, what he saw was an endless rain of flying demonic creature corpses plummeting from the sky under the slaughter of the Champion Knights of the Forbidden Army. As for the ground creatures, they also crumbled under the barrage and relentless rampage of the Golden Fire Dragons.
When the Dragon Guards descended, and soldiers from the Holy Heart, Holy Sword, and Holy Shield battle groups entered, the Forbidden Army was already clearing the battlefield, their killing efficiency undeniably astounding.
Though the Forbidden Army stands as the most costly warriors under Noah’s command, their performance on the battlefield justifies every resource invested in them.
For these reasons, Noah has been an unequivocal supporter of expanding the Forbidden Army, but despite years of accumulation, their numbers have yet to surpass a thousand.
Due to continuous advancements in transformation technology, the requirements and standards for the Forbidden Army have also escalated; Dragon-men who fail to meet these standards would be eliminated. Moreover, the exclusive production of magic armor for the Forbidden Army stands as a barrier.
That unparalleled class of magic armor can’t be mass-produced, encompassing the highest achievements across numerous realms including runes, alchemy, magic-guided technology, and mechanics, within Noah’s command.
"This is just too terrible!"
The borders visibly extending to Noah dispersed, the golden radiance from the Ancestral Golden Dragon repelled the pervasive poisonous demonic qi and dust.
Even though Noah eradicated the demonic qi and poisonous fog engulfing the sky dome, the sunlight spilling from the sky appeared still pale in comparison to even the Silver Moon of his plane, not to mention Noah’s own brilliance.
Noah knew the reason for this — this plane had been severely eroded and devastated by the Abyss, so even the plane’s laws were weakened, the dimming of the sun being the most evident proof.
When the sun falls and no longer rises, it signifies the complete downfall of this Material Plane into hopelessness. Even any remaining beings would face extinction upon the arrival of the dark age, leaving them no choice but to accept Abyssal erosion, transforming into demonic creatures to survive the abrupt environmental shifts.
However, Noah has witnessed far more tragic scenes of annihilation; this situation was but a trifle. Here, the sun still rose as usual, continuing to shed light and heat.
As Noah’s legions continuously slaughtered the demonic creatures, establishing secure zones, he silently sensed the whereabouts of his eldest son, Iliad.
The bond of blood between father and son, upon being in the same plane, became incredibly distinct. As soon as Noah sensed his eldest son’s presence, Iliad immediately perceived Noah’s arrival.
"Your expressions are just too obvious; someone you trust and rely on heavily with utmost reverence has arrived, making you much more relaxed. Do you think he can contend with me?"
The towering, robust figure of a man standing firm with an imposing might akin to lofty mountains, noticed the relief on the face of the young commander before him, carrying a curious gaze amid the thunderclouds within his eyes,
"Who? Your father!?"
"Indeed, it’s my father, Lord Odin."
Before him stood someone not exceedingly old, yet mature, the gleam in his eyes made Iliad inadvertently avert his gaze, unwilling to make eye contact.
Because those eyes of this man pierced through like a sharp sword, delving directly into the heart, able to analyze every thought.
In front of this Ascender, he felt as though he wore no garments, with every thought laid bare to his sight. Just now was even more overbearing.
He only sensed his father’s arrival, and the man had already guessed it correctly. Even though he inquired, the certainty in his tone seemed as if he personally witnessed it.
"Your father is a Dragon Clan member, by today’s terms, one with ancestral bloodline."
The man, his hair and beard sprawling like entwined Dragon Snakes or giant pythons, exuding utmost joviality, revealed a reminiscent gaze in his eyes,
"I once had a friend, a rival, among the Dragon Clan, that was a momentous period I’ll never forget. I wonder if the Ancestral Dragon Species today still possess the powers held by the Dragon Clan in my era."
"Today’s Dragon Clan might not exhibit the individual prowess as the ones in your memory, but I don’t believe I am any weaker than the ancestors at my age!"
Golden brilliance traversed space, as a crowned Golden Dragon protruded from the far side of the plane, the noble and majestic aura unique to the Dragon Lord gushed forth, and Iliad finally relaxed completely.
