The crimson Blazing Heaven Flame burned on the Holy Spear entwined with golden patterns, releasing a grand and profound, yet not very friendly, will. Carried by the pale flame, it manifested a majestic figure bearing twelve wings.
"Lord Solophis!"
Faced with the will that was determined to project its descent before him, Noah was very honest, adopting a solemn attitude, respectful in manner, without any flaw in etiquette.
"Noah, this is our second private meeting, though not official."
The descending will of the Blazing Heaven God stared at the ancestral Golden Dragon, majestic as mountain ranges stretching endlessly, for a while before it spoke, its voice indifferent, devoid of any excess emotion, neither joy nor anger could be discerned.
However, Noah could sense the intent of questioning since the manner of this descent was anything but friendly.
"Indeed."
Noah glanced at the dome opened by the Divine Spear before him; a tangible but immaterial domain spread out, accompanied by the spread of a will.
This demanded the Dragon Elf and favored ones disturbed to withdraw, for this Blazing Heaven God's descent was unobscured, and most had seen the meteor falling from the sky, crashing into the Mage Holy Land where the Holy Dragon temporarily resided.
"In less than four hundred years, you have reached this step, even using my daughter's words to inquire about how to acquire World Source Power. You're very impressive, indeed, very impressive."
Though it sounded like praise, Noah heard no note of commendation, but rather found it strange.
Originally, he had intended to have Ophelia inquire on his behalf with this Blazing Heaven God, and once the relevant information was obtained, Ophelia would relay it. He had not anticipated facing this Blazing Heaven God directly, even in such an informal manner.
Though he was no longer a fledgling youth, rooted in the Material Realm, fearless of any challenge, even the Divine Spear bearing the Blazing Heaven God's will before him, he could suppress with force.
Yet, such actions would not solve the problem, and the ensuing troubles would be enough to overwhelm him, so Noah conscientiously remained in the position of a son-in-law. Honestly speaking, he hadn't done anything wrong.
"You flatter me. My current achievements are merely guided by numerous Dragon Clan ancestors, and advice from elders like you, with some luck, thus leading to my present self."
Noah spoke with great humility, feeling somewhat bewildered after uttering those words.
He had never been so modest, always firmly believing his achievements were due to his own struggle and effort.
Even now, this idea hadn't wavered in the slightest, yet at times of necessary humility, a bit of concession was made. The Blazing Heaven God before him possessed information he needed; maintaining a humble, composed demeanor was the appropriate attitude for a seeker of knowledge. Excessive arrogance is unwelcome anywhere.
"I haven't guided you in anything. Your skill improvement and perfection have nothing to do with me."
"Hmm."
Noah didn't know how to proceed. This old blazing deity had already revealed his intent, asking questions because of Ophelia.
"Eight hundred years ago, my daughter was born under my watch, and I personally raised her. For the first time, she questioned me, even angered at me. How do you suggest I respond to her?"
Faced with Noah's silence, Blazing Heaven God Solophis did not let up, posing more challenging questions.
"Can you tell me the answer? I've heard you also have a daughter. Perhaps you understand better how to handle father-daughter relationships."
"Actually, I am not a qualified father."
"Nor am I a qualified father. As fellow fathers, you might offer me some advice."
"Lord Solophis, I did not intentionally mention past events to Ophelia, simply because she persistently pushed for my journey to Heaven, while I have no wish to go under current circumstances."
"What's your reason for not wanting to go to Heaven? Because of me?"
"Your counsel back then did influence me somewhat, but it's not the main reason. Primarily, the numerous divinities residing in Heaven made me believe it's not a suitable realm for me now."
"You indeed are as cautious as my daughter described."
"Perhaps she thinks I am fearful, cowardly? Or narrow-minded?"
"If she truly thought so, she would not have asked me questions for you, nor would she have chosen you."
After saying this, Solofis paused slightly, then added another sentence,
"She did not even ask my advice once beforehand."
"You are right; Ophelia wouldn't see me that way."
Noah pretended he didn't hear the latter part of the Blazing Heaven God's words, playing deaf and mute, sometimes wisdom is in silence.
"Regarding World Source Power, how much do you know?"
Not delving too much into issues about Ophelia, Solophis shifted to the main topic, causing Noah, initially troubled, to become solemn and attentive.
"From what I currently understand, Source Power is crucial to ascending as Dragon King. Without it, whatever I do, I cannot become Dragon King."
Noah expressed his current understanding.
"Indeed, you know quite a bit."
"But I still don't know how to acquire Source Power."
"Haven't you met Odin? You should have already accessed the Divine Domain he once ruled. Have you gained nothing there?"
