Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire-Chapter 820 457: The Stubborn Breed from the Deep Sea, In the Name of the Heavens (Part 2)

Chapter 820

Roar!
In the face of such provocation, Noah responded in the most straightforward way of communication among giant beasts.
He had already noticed the power of these giant beasts, each of them touching the extreme and pinnacle that the Material Realm could tolerate.
However, in contrast to their immense power, their intelligence seemed only slightly higher than brute beasts but far inferior to the Wisdom Race. Their thoughts were extremely primitive and pure, not very complex.
Such overly simple and pure thoughts can be quite troublesome at times, for instance, when they stubbornly adhere to their beliefs. But if you can present a reason they acknowledge, they will submit readily and thoroughly.
Obviously, the recognition granted by the World Will meant nothing to this fellow, or in other words, Noah's current power had not gained its recognition, so it did not acknowledge him.
To deal with such a creature, Noah's approach was very straightforward. Between the Dragon Horns on his forehead, resembling a complete crown, a point of golden light suddenly appeared, then rapidly expanded, golden radiance bursting forth. A spherical domain emerged, quickly expanding from him as its core.
Emperor Dragon Realm
This was a minor achievement Noah had realized after observing the Root Rules of the world, combined with many hidden Secret Realms he had seen previously, and naturally formed Half-planes.
This was a special domain, apart from the basic functions of augmenting oneself and suppressing enemies typical of a domain, its most unique feature was its stability, capable of bearing short-term combat between Noah and opponents of his level.
Sizzle~
For the Molten Rock Giant Beast that crawled out of the deep sea, it did not care at all about the changes in its surrounding environment, as long as the creature in front of it, which it instinctively disliked and repelled, was still there.
A bright scarlet, high-temperature Breathing turned into a beam of light, blasting towards Noah. As it passed, the Void trembled, threatening to collapse even the newly formed Dragon Realm of Noah.
"Fool!"
Noah cursed, refusing to directly face the Breathing, spreading his wings, and swooping down. The dragon body, nearly three hundred meters long, displayed terrifying mobility at this moment. Even when the Molten Rock Giant Beast responded immediately, trying to immerse Noah with its high-temperature Breathing, Noah evaded.
When Noah got too close, he couldn't avoid it completely, but it didn't matter. Noah bore a segment of the Breathing, ramming into the giant beast's body. Accompanied by a sound like an avalanche, the beast abruptly shut its mouth and its head involuntarily lifted under the impact.
Then, the sharp Dragon Claw directly tore through the thick obsidian Scale Armor on its body. Blood, as hot as magma, gushed forth from the exposed flesh.
However, it was now that the giant beast displayed its terrifying super-speed regeneration. It seemed to have lost all pain perception, even when its chest was collapsed by Noah and chunks of its flesh, like small mountains, were torn away. Yet it still struggled, roaring, readjusting its posture, while its powerful Giant Claws reached out for Noah, trying to grab him.
Of course, Noah would not comply. Instead, his long body coiled and entangled, firmly constraining the Molten Rock Giant Beast. Then, with a force like an avalanche, a snapping sound once again came from the beast's body.
Roar~ howling~
Under Noah's encirclement, the giant beast let out a pained roar. Although its tolerance for pain was extraordinarily high, possessing an exaggerated regeneration ability, this did not mean it could ignore pain.
Nonetheless, even so, the giant beast did not exhibit the slightest sign of submission. Its Giant Claws, already constrained by Noah, furiously clawed at Noah's Dragon Scales, attempting to tear through his body.
Even the Golden Dragon Scales, formed by natural Divine Marks, struggled to resist this giant beast's clawing, lasting merely two to three breaths before being scratched and shattered.
However, before that, Noah had already released it, once again soaring into the sky. With his splendid Dragon Wings, he launched devastating attacks on the Molten Rock Giant Beast at a speed that defied even the best Space Teleportation Gate.
"Stubborn entity!"
Yet even as Noah, holding the upper hand in this duel, he frustratingly found that despite suppressing the giant beast, there was not a hint of submission in the creature's eyes; it still refused to acknowledge him as the newcomer leader.
After several attempts without seeing any trace of submission, Noah had to resort to more brutal tactics, breaking its spine, smashing its head, cutting off its tail... Alas, none of these were fatal to an Ancient Giant Beast.
These creatures, especially favored and adored by the World Will, may have their flaws, but they are the perfect beings in terms of their body strength and Recovery Power.
Or in other words, in some respects, Ancient Giant Beasts have reached the utmost degree. It is precisely because of this extreme nature that they persist to this day.
Killing is impossible; Ancient Giant Beasts, as Guardians naturally nurtured from the world's nascent stages, are now scarce in number, each one maintained as is precious, killing even one creates a notable loss.
Noah, of course, could not cross such a line, not to mention even if he wished to, it would not be easy to kill such a being with its frightfully high Vitality.
Even if stabbed in the heart with a True Divine Artifact possessing murderous Divinity, the creature could struggle to survive. If they could access the knowledge of World Will, they would achieve an Undying state, being utterly indestructible.
Thus, after tormenting this stubborn sea creature over and over until he lost patience, Noah left it in this domain, returning once more to the Material World.
Noah still had important matters to attend to and had no time to spar eternally with this stubborn beast.
As soon as Noah returned to the Material Realm, he was met with more eyes of reverence and awe. Among many Ancient Giant Beasts, they had witnessed Noah tormenting the challenger who sought to provoke him.
The challenger's miserable fate made these giant beasts far more sincere in their submission to Noah.
As for the Favored and various Vassals who did not witness it, they exclaimed in astonishment and cheered at Noah's lone return.
Two mighty beings disappeared together, and now only one returned, bearing the marks of battle — the fate of the other needs no explanation?
Regrettably, upon his return, facing the cheers and celebrations in the sky and earth, Noah did not display the benevolence of a Holy Dragon but instead demonstrated the cold-bloodedness and justice a ruler of the world should possess.
Confiscating Gold and Stripping Titles
Because of offering substandard Gold at a Priest ceremony, they were weakened and dismissed from their titles, losing their sealed nation — this is the most justifiable method for a Monarch wielding power to weaken overly powerful Nobles. The effectiveness of it depends on the authority held by the King.
Emulating the ancient wise, Noah decided to, under the name of disrespecting the heavens, weaken and strip the lands of the vassal states recently pledged under him but not too compliant.
As for to whom the confiscated lands would be rewarded, that's all the simpler. Naturally, it goes to those small countries chosen by the World Will for their significant gifts beyond mere appearances.
Overall, it is the transfer of large national territories to smaller nations, enacting the heavenly principle of taking from the excess and rewarding those in need. However, the mentalities of the expanded small nations and reduced large nations stand in complete contrast.
Large nations, angry and fearful; small nations, delighted yet uneasy. Large nations rage over their fractured territories, while small nations fear they cannot keep newly acquired lands.
But regardless of mentality, they must unite and rely on the prowess of the Holy Dragon.
Large nations, powerless against the rupture of more territories, will fear the loss; small nations worry they cannot keep gains without the dignity of the Holy Dragon.
