Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire-Chapter 823 459: Tidel Unsealed, Dragon King's Divine Power

Chapter 823

Chirp!
The azure radiance permeates the heavens and earth, with a streak that symbolizes immortality and divinity flickering within, transforming into a giant towering sky and earth. Yet such an existence, in the face of a giant beast with bone-scaled wings, a menacing four-clawed underbelly, and a long tail adorned with three sharp barbs, stands no chance and is devoured in a single bite.
"This is the ultimate fate of Azure Sword King Isevan, the strongest of the Pegasus Kingdom."
"Swallowed whole by a monster, the dignified Sword King ended just like that."
An indescribable sense of sigh and regret resounded in the dark chamber, knowing that the Sword Saint, known as the Sword King legend, had the potential to become a God Sealer, a future Divine being, and yet met such an abrupt end.
What makes it all the more ironic is that this Sword King probably never knew the real reason for his downfall until the moment of his death.
For most of his time, the Sword King resided in an underground palace, secluded and practicing without ever inquiring about worldly affairs. Even when the Holy Dragon inspected the world and conquered all nations, the Sword King merely took a glance and issued the command for his Kingdom to submit, before retreating again.
But when he emerged for the second time, what awaited him was the beast dispatched by the Holy Dragon, annihilating him along with the Kingdom he guarded.
Anyone placing themselves in the perspective of this Sword King would likely feel a sense of suffocation, anger, and strong dissatisfaction.
He made just one decision, and from the current perspective, it was still the correct decision, but because of certain fools within his own country, he got dragged into the abyss, never to rise again.
"Instead of lamenting for someone who has become history's unfortunate, we should think about what to do next."
"What else can we do? Of course, offer our loyalty to the supreme Holy Dragon Emperor! Do you have any other ideas?"
"What ideas could I have? Even the true demigods, Ascenders, in the face of the Holy Dragon, are probably helpless; transcendent Divine beings wouldn't be able to deal with It."
"Stop speaking such nonsense, the Holy Dragon is the highest guardian of our world, no Divine being will target him."
Even though Noah wiped out a millennium-old Kingdom with a word, causing unease among numerous great nations, besides their concern, they dared not make any additional moves, fearing to misunderstand this Holy Dragon Emperor.
Looking at the end of the Pegasus Kingdom, this Holy Dragon Emperor is not as compassionate as rumored, at the very least, he is not that merciful towards external vassals like them.
In the face of nations that violate his majesty and oppose his will, this Holy Dragon shows no mercy, executing all those related, sparing no one, to an extremely cold and ruthless degree.
Yet, the more so, the more it instills dread and terror among nations, allowing the numerous small nation forces, sealed and bestowed during Noah's first sacrificial ceremony, to successfully secure territories carved from larger countries' domains.
With the demonstration of the Pegasus Kingdom, whether large or formerly indifferent ones, all took the opportunity to curtail their thoughts and minor tricks, daring to harbor further transgressive ideas.
Upon knowing the reactions of the nations through the feedback from the Fairies, Noah was quite satisfied. Although the nations loyal to him were largely established by the Wisdom Species, they feared power rather than revered virtue.
Only upon showing power sufficient to easily annihilate them and displaying a stance of readiness to wield it at any time, did these countries restrain themselves, obediently kneeling to become his vassals.
However, Noah also knew this was temporary, as the short-lived species had rather poor memory, every ten or twenty years, there would always be some self-righteous fools staging a spontaneous performance.
Of course, it was no matter, serving as a perfect excuse for him to take advantage of the situation. As for whether innocents would be implicated as a result, Noah did not care, for he was not a just Dragon.
"Noah, congratulations on becoming the Guardian King of the native world!"
The congratulations from the Heavenly Angels made Noah narrow his eyes with pleasure,
"You are now an existence akin to my father."
"No, compared to your father, I still have a long way to go."
Noah had a sense of self-awareness in this matter, as the world's specifications and volume were not the same. Just being the Blazing Sky protector of the Heaven's father-in-law received comprehensive Source Power nourishment.
As for him, though the sacrificial preparations were extremely thorough, before truly becoming a Dragon King, he could not do any better, even if the World Will allowed him to become the King of Giant Beasts, the Source Power provided was as thin as a strand.
This strand only allowed Noah to taste the sweet flavor of Source Power, but was insufficient to enable him to achieve the ultimate leap, to ascend as king and ancestor.
However, it also provided him with a clear direction; while his world's foundation might not compare to the Heaven's, with effort applied, enough was there to fuel his promotion to Dragon King without a problem.
"You're being too modest, I have seen your transformation and evolution in Heaven, and you are not much different from a Dragon King; you can completely stand shoulder to shoulder with my father."
"You saw my transformation in Heaven?"
Hearing Ophelia's words, Noah was startled, but the angel's subsequent response left him even more speechless,
"Of course, not just me, many True Gods are watching your transformation."
"Why are they watching me?"
