Without any intention of deterring, Uranos merely gave a prior reminder. Noah and Tidel, of course, did not care, for they currently only wished to meet the being highly acclaimed by the once Titan-blooded genius king.
Endless, undulating mountains and boundless plains, as if towering mountain waves surged with the terrain... This was a vast, primordial world, and merely by traversing tens of thousands of miles from the sky, Noah felt a sense of conquest in his heart.
"Almost there."
Uranos's voice pulled Noah's thoughts back to reality. Following his direction, Noah instantly saw the dense mist exuding a dark and deathly aura, permeating the air, enveloping the mountains, plains, and lush forests entirely.
"This is the place!"
Uranos descended to the ground. Noah and Tidel exchanged a glance, and, along with the accompanying Dragon-men, they also descended, as the vibe of that mist really felt unpleasant. In Noah's perception, the mist somewhat resembled the world's fetal membrane, and underneath its coverage, it seemed like a world unto itself.
"I'll go try first, to see if Lord Mikhail is awake."
"Alright."
Under the gaze of Noah and Tidel, Uranos's body began to rise steadily until it surpassed twenty meters before ceasing. Then, he started moving toward the edge of the mist, and as he approached, roots resembling dragon-like vines suddenly emerged from the underground, lashing towards Uranos.
"Excuse me, has Lord Mikhail awakened?"
Facing the vine roots coming with an explosive sound, Uranos remained unchanged in expression, yet the flames swirling around him ignited fiercely, burning the vines into ashes.
"Why is it always you? Aren't you tiresome, constantly disturbing Mikhail!"
"Again it's you, buddy. I should've known better than to save you back then; you keep interrupting us."
"He even brought lots of people here. What's he trying to do? Could he be intending to attack our Divine Calamity Forest?"
"Don't say silly things; though this guy's annoying, he's not bad."
"Should we go find Mikhail then?"
As soon as Uranos finished speaking, murmuring voices arose at once. Numerous hazy figures appeared at the mist's edge.
"Tree spirits? Flower Demon? Half-deer people?"
Noah saw those familiar yet somewhat different figures and made a few guesses.
"Uranos, what are you seeking with Lord Mikhail again?"
"My elder relatives learned of Lord Mikhail's existence, became very interested, and specifically came to visit."
Uranos replied.
"They're interested, so Mikhail has to show up? What do you take Mikhail for?"
Voices full of discontent followed as Noah looked toward Uranos, who was still attempting communication with the little beings in the mist with a composed tone, and used his gaze to signal Tidel.
Crackling~
Golden Thunder flashed once more; understanding Noah's intent, Tidel showed no restraint, revealing the full form of the Titan Body, a towering stature exceeding 150 meters, in front of which even the majestic surrounding mountains seemed extremely small.
"Wow?! Titan!"
"Nonsense, that's not a Titan!"
"Such pure bloodline, very close."
"Indeed, but still not as pure as Mikhail!"
"I think we should notify Mikhail!"
The mist spanning unknown thousands of miles rippled like tidal waves in the sky. Noah could feel a will slowly awakening within.
Whoa!
One after another, enormous tree roots broke through the earth, twisting and intertwining mid-air, with earth filling the gaps. In an instant, a giant made of countless roots and soil appeared at the mist's edge.
When the purple-gold soul fire ignited, both Noah and Tidel felt an intense gaze upon them, a gaze both clear and heavy.
"Like Uranos, you are outsiders from the same world."
The flat narrative tone seemed to convey some truth, as the Earthen Wood Giant spoke directly of Noah's group's origins.
"Yes, we've heard you are an Inheritor of the Titans, and thus, specifically came to visit."
Tidel responded, while Noah remained silent; the body of the giant before him, though constructed merely of roots and large amounts of stone and earth, was not inferior in size or momentum to the true form displayed by Tidel.
"Titan's Inheritor? You may say so. You visit me—what do you wish to know from me? Or what do you seek to gain?"
Upon hearing Tidel's reference to his identity, the giant Mikhail did not deny it. After acknowledging it, he straightforwardly asked.
"I merely wish to understand a few things."
"Related to Titans? Do you want to know how to enhance and perfect your bloodline? Or do you seek to dispel the infernal corruption upon you?"
"Do you have a solution?"
Tidel's eyes brightened, unexpectedly finding a surprise. Facing the infernal will's corruption, his best solution was to await Noah's ascension to Dragon King.
But if other means could solve it sooner, to rid himself of the hellish threat, how could he refuse? It was truly desired.
"The method for enhancing Titan bloodline, I've already told your child. As for dispelling hellish corruption, without sufficient power, it's unattainable; asking is futile."
Mikhail shook his head, stating matters as though he hadn't, yet his gaze shifted to Noah, who had been silent since his emergence,
"And you? Protector of the Otherworld, what do you wish to know from me?"
Whether a mistake or not, Noah felt the giant's attitude toward him was friendlier compared to both Tidel and Uranos.
"I wish to understand the Titan's path of salvation and the specifics of this road."
Without any preamble, Noah posed a world-shaking question, and the giant immediately fell into silence.
"Being a Guardian already, what significance does asking such a question hold? What will knowing benefit you?"
After a moment of silence, Mikhail expressed his confusion.
"Guardian is only temporary; ultimately, I will break free, embarking on the same path as Titans. But I wish to understand the end of this path."
Noah's words were filled with boundless confidence. Although not fully comprehending world mastery, he was certain he wouldn't be constrained by his Mother Realm.
"Epic Path has no end."
Upon Noah's query, Mikhail immediately refuted this notion,
"You haven't understood it at all, yet wish to tread the same path; you are somewhat arrogant, Dragon Clan."
"Due to missing inheritance, I seek the elder's guidance—what is the Epic Path?"
"Do you know Source Power?"
"The foundational power of the world!"
"Indeed, acquiring Source Power is the first step upon the Epic Path, also its threshold. Titans term this step Source Fusion."
"And after Source Fusion?"
Truly elated, Noah's Dragon King path had already been outlined, but becoming Dragon King was merely the beginning; beyond lies a lengthy road. Yet what this road entailed was entirely unknown to Noah.
"World fabrication, trying to use one's own power to construct a world of material rules."
Facing Noah's queries, the Earthen Wood Giant withheld nothing, answering Noah's mystery. Yet aside from Noah, be it Tidel or Volvo, were all faces of astonishment; this information exceeded their knowledge.
"Constructing a material world by oneself?"
"Correct, should one achieve this step, creating a complete world through one's power, one becomes the creator."
