Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire-Chapter 870 482: Becoming the World, Bearing All Living Beings (Part 2)

Chapter 870

"They are father's True Blood Favored, they have the right to know."
"Even if they know, what can they do after understanding its meaning? What use is there other than causing panic?"
Terramus did not agree with his brother's approach,
"Don't talk about them, even for us, what can we do?"
"We can try to approach father, without relying on any external aid, using our bloodline connection with him to get close."
"Just like little sister's question, what is the point of getting close to father? What's the use?"
"To confirm father's condition."
"And then, after confirming his condition, what then? To verify your speculation? That father will completely replace the Sun, unable to awaken forever?"
"This is not for father, but for ourselves. You should understand the significance of father for us. If father truly can never awaken again, then everything before us will collapse and cease to exist."
"I don't believe your speculation. Father must have made enough preparations before beginning his ascension. Since he didn't inform us, we don't need to do anything extra, just do what's necessary at the moment."
"I don't believe it either, but I want to see for myself."
"Actually, I also want to know."
The two brothers exchanged a smile. As offspring, witnessing such a significant change occurring to father, even though rational thoughts told them what they should do, emotional feelings still drove them to do things they knew were futile but couldn't resist doing.
Disconnected completely from the external world, Noah was unaware of his offspring's and Favored's actions; he only confirmed one thing.
After consuming enough Ascension King Fruit, the Dragon's body transformation was no longer difficult. More importantly, he received almost infinite replenishment. As for the final transformation, what he would become depended on his understanding in the Sea of Roots.
"No, no, it shouldn't be like this."
Though getting mysterious replenishment made all sun-related Root Rules rush at him like neglected wives, greedy and fierce, Noah wasn't.
Even if he could easily become a Sun Dragon King, Noah felt something was wrong, something was missing, and this was not what he wanted.
"An Undying and Immortal Sun Holy Dragon Body!"
Even without referencing Titan's Epic Body, under the influx of endless Root Rules, Noah contemplated a concept of the Dragon King's Undying Body.
He seemed capable of transforming into an immortal sun, hanging high in the Sky Dome, enlightening all beings, blessing all life. But instinctively, Noah rejected such a stance.
"I absolutely don't want to be a fat ball Dragon King!"
Recalling a glimpse of an Ancestor Dragon during a transformation, Noah muttered in the Sea of Roots.
"What's wrong with being a fat ball, kid! Did I provoke you? Always gossiping behind my back!"
Suppressing rage but still discernible anger, a voice echoed around Noah. As he was bewildered, his surroundings abruptly changed.
A vast and boundless starry sky appeared before him, a brilliant galaxy spread out, and in the star river, a celestial body radiating golden light rapidly enlarged, filling most of Noah's vision.
In the next moment, the golden celestial opened a pair of vertical pupils, glaring fiercely at the falling Noah,
"Look into my eyes, answer me, what's wrong with being a ball?"
"~"
Getting caught by the subject of ridicule is a highly embarrassing situation. Initially having little confidence, Noah had none when facing this senior.
Of course, what puzzled him more was his current state. He was clearly traveling in the Sea of World Root but somehow fell into the stars.
"Boy, don't think silence can dodge the issue. If you don't answer my question, you won't leave here!"
Seeing Noah silent, the golden star growled menacingly.
"I think I'm not suited to be a ball~"
Noah had no choice but to utter an answer.
"Huh, you aren't even worthy of being a ball! Do you think every dragon can be like me?"
A disdainful laugh and mocking voice sounded, filled with unparalleled confidence and pride.
As Dragon Clan, evolving to such a life form was extremely rare, he had every reason to be proud.
Only it left him feeling morose, even annoyed, that this junior Dragon Clan was truly unappreciative and ignorant, indeed foolish and hopeless.
"You're right."
Having not understood the situation fully, Noah was very earnest, perfectly embodying a sincere and decent dragon, which he indeed was.
Noah knew that calling out a True God's name could evoke the Divine's sense, but he was in the Sea of Roots, and he only muttered about the fat ball.
He didn't even know this senior's true name, yet it caused such a sense and brought his consciousness here; it was utterly unreasonable.
"Kid, don't you feel especially comfortable now? Having whatever you wish? Like being the world's favorite child?"
Perhaps seeing Noah's compliant demeanor, the fat ball's tone softened considerably, in a kindly manner, smilingly asked.
"Indeed..."
Just as Noah was about to answer, he suddenly realized that good things don't simply fall from the sky. World Will was never kind to any being unprompted, even native creatures.
"My current state..."
"Though I don't know what you're aiming for, your current state isn't good. If you don't wake up in time, your Mother Realm might just swallow you."
"Please guide me, elder!"
Though he realized after the warning, Noah continued to maintain respect for this elder who pointed him out, and kept a learning attitude.
"Why stop calling me a fat ball?"
"You jest, you've always been the elder I most respect, I remember you deeply."
"I have no suggestions for you; knowing is enough. At this point, the path is yours to choose, no right or wrong, just how you tread. I know you aren't interested in my evolution form, but you can still take a look."
As the words fell, the star continued to enlarge rapidly before Noah, allowing him to see the life form this Dragon Clan elder took, a body unimaginably large, indistinguishable from a true star.
A single Dragon Scale was a small world capable of self-sustained material cycles, with complete ecological cycles within, and interconnections between Dragon Scales.
"Transformed into a world?"
Seeing the elder Dragon's true body details, Noah was deeply shaken. Though in some ways similar to the Earth Spirit shaped by the Titan, the impact was even greater.
This was truly nurturing countless lives!
"Not really. I'm not as grand as you think. These beings merely arose naturally during my evolution."
"Are you an Epic Dragon King?"
Noah couldn't help but ask.
"No!"
"Not a Dragon King, then what are you?"
"Just a fat ball."
"~"
"But even facing a Dragon King, I can exchange a few moves, though not with the old relic you're about to meet."
"Next?"
Noah instantly comprehended, becoming aware.
"By the way, I should thank you. If not for you, that one might not have noticed me."
"What?"
"You've seen everything about me, off you go!"
