Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire-Chapter 907 501: Noah, Go Handle the Strong Divine Power!

Chapter 907

"Is this the Eternal Spear you reforged?"
Since Odin took the rebellious Eternal Spear and left, Noah hadn't seen him again until now. The God-king, whose split soul had been unified, appeared in the Space-Time Realm, resembling a middle-aged man with a square jaw and broad nose, with a powerful physique and black hair.
Though such an appearance is quite impressive in the secular world, compared to the ancient myths, the image of the God-king circulated in stories is rather ordinary and common in contrast.
However, the image of the Divine is inherently mutable, varying through different eras and regions, the Divine will always have diverse forms, and when necessary, they don't mind changing gender, though in regular circumstances, such drastic changes wouldn't occur.
If there isn't a special reason, a mortal who casually distorts and alters the image of a Divine would surely be deemed heretical, and could be burned at the stake.
"Seems pretty decent though."
Currently, the weapon in Odin's hand is a Cross Spear, resembling a weapon used by a common soldier in a mortal battle array — plain and unremarkable, with nothing outstanding in appearance, looking quite simple.
Yet in Noah's eyes, this Cross Spear is a beam of light, a ray of rule-bound light. Held by Odin, it's brewing an edge sharp enough to make the Divine weep blood.
"It's a pity, though, it seems to be missing a bit of spirituality? Don't you want your weapon to develop consciousness again?"
Noah could immediately see through Odin's intent.
"A weapon doesn't need consciousness,"
Odin said coldly.
Evidently, having been trapped by his own previous life's weapon, the Eternal Spear Gungnir, caused this God-king immense shame, leading him to take such an extreme countermeasure.
"Lacking this bit of spirituality might affect the weapon's prowess, and in battles requiring the weapon's autonomy, it wouldn't be able to assist you."
"The impact isn't significant."
Odin was noncommittal to Noah's reminder, but he had already resolved to bear the consequences. For him, the weapon in his hand could only be a dead object without self-consciousness or thought.
"So, have you decided when to start your Divine Enthronement?"
Seeing Odin's firm resolve, Noah wisely changed the subject after merely a few exchanges.
"Anytime."
"And the location, are you planning to choose here?"
As Noah's avatar, the White Dragon Lord's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Of course not, but before inviting you, I thought it would be more sincere to meet you in person."
"As long as you're not planning the Divine Enthronement here, that's fine. As for your sincerity, I've already seen it."
A certain yet unappeased Ascender, even if once a God-king, meeting an Epic is equivalent to entrusting their life to them.
However, Noah wouldn't believe a reincarnated God-king would be so naive. The one before him is indeed the true body, but it doesn't represent all of him.
Just like the Black King, whom he had already sacrificed, even though Noah dug out the true body, it didn't necessarily mean the other had truly fallen. As long as a trace remained, he had the chance to rise again, but in the place Noah guards, the Black King wouldn't have any opportunity.
"The current Space-Time Realm isn't suitable to appear in the gods' visions, so you need not worry unnecessarily."
"Indeed, I was overthinking it."
If Odin decided on Divine Enthronement in the Space-Time Realm, Noah would surely stop him, because once Odin undergoes the Divine Enthronement, it would inevitably draw divine attention. If the Space-Time Realm were exposed, the multitude of gods would flock to it.
Even if Noah had merged with the Space-Time Realm's origins, he wouldn't be able to hold back, because the Space-Time Realm's own rules are imperfect. They can't prevent the gods' descent; meaning once the gods discover the Space-Time Realm, they can set foot in its various continents with their true bodies.
A lone Divine's true body descending is something Noah can face without fear, even against Strong Divine Power. Yet, if it's a horde of Divines? Noah thinks he still needs to be practical, it's unnecessary to invite such trouble upon oneself.
"If I were to undergo Divine Enthronement, there would be at least two to three gods of Strong Divine Power making a move. I need you to, according to the situation, help me at least contain one Strong Divine Power if necessary."
"You want me to single-handedly deal with a Strong Divine Power? You certainly place high expectations on me."
In an era where Great Divine Power is unseen, Strong Divine Power stands as the peak combat strength in the divine community, essentially being the first-tier existence within the observable Void range.
As a newly advanced Epic, though due to the peculiar path he chose, Noah's power and foundation are rapidly expanding, at his core, he still remains in the Source Fusion Realm, belonging to the first level of Epic.
But now Odin requires him to contend with Strong Divine Power. Though Epic and Divine realms don't equate, in terms of level disparity, it truly seems too far-fetched.
"You can hold them off, you possess that capability."
"Thank you for your regard, but after your successful Divine Enthronement, we'll need to discuss my compensation. Besides, I have to give you advanced notice: should anything go awry, I will retreat."
"Compensation? Retreat?"
Even having witnessed the changes of eras and the vicissitudes of time without flinching, even having fallen and risen again, the God-king Odin, upon hearing Noah's words, felt a bit of an urge to curse,
"What more do you want? What more do you need? You've already replaced the Sun in the Space-Time Realm, and you've looted thirteen True Divine Artifacts. Isn't that enough?"
