Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire-Chapter 909 502

Chapter 909

"Only us?"
The void was silent. Noah, who had transformed into the sun to illuminate the boundless void, looked at his father-in-law beside him. However, the Blazing Heaven God Solophis, facing Noah's gaze, did not answer but instead looked at a shadowy presence that had appeared at some unknown time in the distance.
"?!"
Following his father-in-law's gaze, Noah realized, to his surprise, that another being had arrived near this void. Its presence was nearly nonexistent, blending seamlessly with the void.
Were it not for his father-in-law's guidance, Noah would have struggled to notice the presence. It was like an assassin lurking in the void. Yet, to describe such an existence as an assassin was somewhat insulting.
Even assassins, forest patrols, and other extraordinary professionals inclined towards assassination and concealment, who worship the God of Wanderers or the Lord of Shadows, would have to bow and respectfully step aside before this presence.
"Lady of Night?!"
As Noah noticed it, he vaguely saw a graceful and slender figure. However, by the time he observed it, the figure had vanished, leaving only a shadow concealed in the void.
Naturally, Noah associated it with an extremely ancient goddess. It was unimaginable that this goddess was still active, or rather, still walking the world.
The gods of the same era had either fallen or gone silent, indifferent to worldly affairs. Even those who still existed were akin to background characters, entirely uninvolved in the changes and developments in the mortal world and void.
But considering Odin's identity, it was not surprising. His background was indeed extraordinary. It was no wonder he could invite such an ancient deity to lend a hand. However, with the Lady of Night present, what were a few strong divine powers?
"Are we somewhat redundant?"
Noah glanced at the almost imperceptible shadow hidden in the void and couldn't help but joke with his father-in-law.
"She only agreed to block one strong divine power for me. The other gods, she won't handle."
Odin had to explain.
"Doesn't that mean the Lady of Night and I hold the same status?"
Noah joked.
In the era when the Lady of Night was active, the vast majority of the current gods did not even exist. She was a first-class ancient god in terms of origin, status, and background. If anyone in this void was closest to great divine power, the Night Goddess would definitely be one of them.
"Noah."
Solophis did not look at the shadow again but instead reminded,
"I am not familiar with the Lady of Night."
"I understand."
In the mythological tales passed down across worlds, the presence of the Night Goddess was not prominent, yet she had always existed. She witnessed the rise of numerous powerful beings and watched them achieve glory and then fall into decline, towards their end—Odin was one of them.
This goddess was not closely connected with other gods in legends, remaining apart from the mainstream divine groups, existing independently. She did not actively participate in any matters, but as time went by, the gaze of the gods upon her grew more reverent.
"Do we have any other helpers?"
Noah looked at Odin.
"There are a few, but I'm not sure if they will appear. Perhaps they will step onto the stage at a crucial moment, or perhaps they will only watch me sink back into silence."
"What else is there to say? Let's get started. It's time for you to ascend the divine throne again, Odin God."
"It's already begun!"
Odin lowered his gaze, looking down at the vast water world below. The surging power of faith was converging towards an ark speeding across the ocean.
It was a massive and majestic metal fortress, with bold and solemn lines. The bridge, resembling a church, and the holy image standing within symbolize the ark's fulfillment of all the functions a main temple should possess.
This was a mobile temple, yet it was not just a temple. It was also a warship, a fortress, a bastion. It was unimaginable that such a wondrous object could be forged in a small corner of the material realm.
"My Lord Odin—the great Father of Gods, the Lord of War, the ruler of Storms and Thunder..."
"My Lord Odin—you are the Sovereign of Books and Spears..."
"My Lord, you shall once again ascend the divine throne and transform into an eternal star of heaven and earth!"
With the resounding prayers echoing from the cathedral of the ark, a faint glow of divine power emerged on the holy image. This layer of light was growing ever more radiant, accompanied by the increasingly grand prayers.
At this moment, in various sea race temples standing by the sea ports, island cities, and beneath the ocean at the confluence of ocean currents, devout believers, summoned and spontaneously heading to the cathedral to pray, contributed their tiny portion of power.
This was the most devout worship and offering to Odin, stemming from a mortal's bit of devout faith. Of course, it could be ignored, but when millions of devout faiths converge, it is like streams merging into rivers and torrents rushing into the sea, transforming into a vast and surging ocean.
The power of all beings from this patch of the material realm was currently gathering at the ark's grand cathedral, encircled by storms and thunder. The power of divinity was being nurtured within, and the immortality sourced from all beings had already emerged.
This vast and overwhelming force, even standing outside the world and dwelling in the void, could be easily observed.
Especially Noah, who, after witnessing the ark cathedral, couldn't help but cast his gaze on his father-in-law beside him, for he was reminded of his companion Ophelia, who once commanded the Savior Ark.
