After just a few brief exchanges, Noah realized that engaging in battle with such a War Goddess in a humanoid form was indeed a foolish move.
Therefore, Noah quickly transformed back into his dragon form, and the armaments summoned from the Mother Realm merged into his dragon body, making every part of his dragon form exude the eternal light of divinity.
It was a Dragon King about ten meters long, not much larger than when Noah was first born. However, this Dragon King was able to clash with a True God, holding the battle line without letting this War Goddess advance any further.
Yet, Noah realized that it wasn't because he was so strong that he was holding her back, but rather that this Goddess seemed to take an interest in him. Although her sword was still piercingly sharp and even the Void could hardly withstand the aftermath she emitted, the nearby Material Realm trembled.
But to Noah, the sword in the Goddess's hand didn't possess destructive power, and each strike was just right, falling within the range he could endure and recover quickly from.
"I heard you're trying to save the Dusk World."
"Hm? Yes."
"Can such a world be saved?"
"It can."
Noah replied with certainty, firm and resolute.
"Can the Shattered ruin world be restored?"
As Noah began to feel something was amiss, the War Goddess Mariana posed another question to him.
"Theoretically yes, but I can't do it right now."
In the legendary Realm of the Creator, one could bring something from nothing in the void, creating a world. Restoring a dilapidated world from ruin to prosperity was evidently not a problem.
"When will you be able to do it, then?"
Mariana's intentions had become clear.
"Not sure, but when I reach that step, even if only a part of my True Body appears here, you will have no qualification to converse with me like this."
"Is that so!"
The light of Mariana's sword slightly slowed, but just then, a shadow from the void silently crept in, followed by a voice sounding quite delighted.
"What are you discussing? It sounds so good, how about including me? Although this isn't a suitable place for making friends, I do like you youthful and vibrant kids."
"Lady of Night!"
Noah's voice carried an indescribable weight, for this encroaching shadow enveloped him and Mariana, obscuring the void. The nearby Material Realm and Odin, who was raising the Divine Throne, disappeared as well.
He seemed to have fallen into a special dimension isolated from the real world and the Void, with endless expanse above and below, no end in sight, and dark wilderness all around. Only sparse stars twinkled, their positions unknown.
Here, there was no concept of space, nor the passage of time, with all perceptions severed. It was as if this place was a realm of Eternity, where all things from the Material World lost their meaning.
"No need to worry, you chose the Savior's path, young Dragon King. Dragons as enthusiastic as you are rarely seen now. I mean you no harm; otherwise, some ill-tempered big guys would give me trouble."
A light chuckle sounded beside his ear, like the whisper of a lover, yet Noah sensed no ambiguity, for the Goddess had not been in this demeanor upon her arrival.
Before the Strong Divine Power incarnated as the storm appeared, the Night Goddess's demeanor was extremely indifferent, with her only change being the arrival of Mariana, the Blood Origin War God.
With the Goddess's arrival, the Lady of Night's attitude shifted. Odin had said that this Ancient God had only promised to help him fend off one Strong Divine Power, yet now she was interfering in a second battlefield.
This was clearly different from what Odin had said. Noah did not think Odin had any reason to deceive him. In other words, it was the Lady of Night's own spur-of-the-moment decision.
"What do you intend to do?"
Although he hypothesized, given the unfathomable thoughts of an ancient being, Noah chose to inquire directly.
"I'm not doing anything. How about we switch opponents, little Dragon King?"
"This Strong Divine Power is too temperamental."
Noah expressed subtly that Mariana's combat power was indeed formidable, with her every move capable of shattering the void.
Yet, the Goddess clearly had something to ask of him, so after confirming some matters, her sword grew softer, sparing him in many ways.
"No worries, I've dealt with her. She can only rage now, and if you're interested, you might enjoy a taste of her; it could benefit you somewhat."
"?!"
Just as Noah was puzzled, an irresistible force fell upon him. After becoming a Dragon King, Noah once again felt like he was being flung away, an unbearable sensation.
But upon realizing the presence appearing before him, Noah magnanimously forgave the Lady of Night's seemingly rough behavior.
Because what stood before Noah now was not a raging storm but a colossal Giant Beast riddled with scars, pierced through by chains of darkness.
It looked like some kind of turtle, and its enormous shell, if floating on the sea, would certainly be a majestic island. Even in the Void, it was formidable.
But such a fearsome entity, upon entering the Night Goddess's Dimension Domain, could only become a lamb awaiting slaughter.
While Noah examined the Strong Divine Power suppressed and immobilized by the Night Goddess, pondering his next move, he heard a voice,
"Crawling creature!"
Undeniably, having entangled himself in Odin's matters, Noah indeed experienced many of a dragon's greatest moments, having long forgotten never experiencing such rudeness,
"You truly are commendably brave! Are you unaware of your current predicament?"
Noah felt surprised.
"I am the Immortal Storm Master. I have billions of believers, a million fanatics, and three hundred Saints. Not even the Lady of Night can cause my downfall!"
The greatest reliance of the Divine is faith, but this does not make other aspects any less important.
"You're right, then, could you demonstrate for me? How do you resurrect?"
Initially uncertain how to handle the already subdued Strong Divine Power, Noah's gaze toward the Giant Beast changed, his dragon saliva crazily secreting.
"What are you doing?"
Realizing something wrong with Noah's condition and gaze, the deity that ruled storms and thunder panicked, knowing resurrection wasn't without cost.
The stronger a deity, the steeper the price for resurrection sometimes required sacrificing parts of one's Divine Country and the prayer merged over long years, a permanent damage to power and foundation.
"I want to taste you. Your flavor must be exquisite!"
As the Dragon King of the highest sanctity stretched his magnificent dragon body, spanning kilometers, and opened his mouth to a Giant Deity, the God Eater property appeared.
"Silence!"
The moment the first piece of flesh was bitten off, the Divine sensed something gravely wrong. Some elements on its body began vanishing as Noah devoured its physical form.
Having tasted vitality, Noah was unlikely to stop. In the Void, battling a True God was different than being in the Material Realm.
In the Material Realm, even shattering a deity's avatar merely dissolved into light, dispersing. But in the void, facing a deity's True Body meant tasting flesh, devouring divinity and divine power.
"Hehe,"
