Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire-Chapter 927 511: Rending the Abyss

Chapter 927

"Father of Gods!"
Watching his youngest daughter, also the last of his offspring, ascend to the Divine Country and achieve the status of an undying divine spirit, Noah couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. In this vast, boundless Void, how many existences could, like him, have three divine offspring?
With such an achievement, Noah calling himself the Father of Gods wasn't overstepping, although it was quite ostentatious. After all, with only three divine spirits, having the audacity to claim the title of Father of Gods might be seen as presumptuous.
However, Noah was confident that among his descendants, there would definitely be more than three divine spirits. Among his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even further generations, there would surely be more and more Dragon Sons who would ascend the divine throne and become divine spirits.
By that time, numerous divine Dragon Sons would shine in the Void, their formidable power filling the space. Even if he called himself the Father of Gods, what of it?
But that was a matter of the distant future. For now, it was just a hopeful outlook, yet it was not an unrealistic ambition but one that could potentially be realized.
Of course, Noah only planned to go this far. The nurturing of the grandchildren was the responsibility of their parents, not him as the grandfather, and as for even further descendants, Noah had no intention of worrying either.
Children and grandchildren have their own blessings, and he, as the ancestor, should enjoy himself rather than endlessly plotting the growth process of Dragon Sons and Dragon Grandsons.
"Noah!"
Just as Noah was about to lay down and enjoy life, no longer worrying about his descendants, a familiar yet somewhat strange presence approached him quietly, stirring a subconscious resistance and even awakening a destructive desire within Noah.
"Aunt!"
Appearing before Noah was his long-unseen foster mother, Selene. The last meeting was in the Abyss, yet Noah had not seen her true form even then, so it was as if they hadn't met at all.
"It's truly not easy to see you now. Those little ones by your side have all grown up, and their vigilance has become much stronger than before."
Tall and elegant, with an unmatched beauty, Selene's appearance was unchanged from Noah's memory. However, as a Spellcaster clad in black robes, her aura had undergone a complete transformation.
Evil and eerie, grim and terrifying, not only her aura but even the essence emanating from her soul was entirely different from before. Any ordinary Transcendent, or even a Legendary Mage, would dare not be certain and would likely assume that this evil existence was an impostor seeking death.
But Noah was able to find the original familiar traces in this foster mother before him, though they were faint, they were enough to confirm her identity.
"Why do you need to see me in stealth mode?"
Noah couldn't help but find it amusing,
"As long as you reveal your identity, who would stop you?"
"In my current state, I probably wouldn't be able to meet you smoothly. I don't want to cause a commotion."
Selene was quite aware of her condition. She was no longer the pure Legendary Mage she once was, but an Abyss Lord. With such a status and identity, even setting foot in the Material World was extremely difficult. If she engaged with the World Will, the consequences would be clear.
Indeed, even now, standing before Noah, she instinctively felt a chilling dread, with a terror that made her soul tremble.
This was because their identities were utterly opposed. A World Guardian and an Abyss Lord meeting required no words; the presence before her, with just one thought, could turn her to dust, leaving nothing behind.
Yet their relationship was too unique. Selene had full confidence in the Dragon before her that had completely surpassed her, and could no longer be called small. Even though she had fallen to become an Abyss Lord, this Dragon would do nothing to her.
"If you weren't in a stealth state, but appeared openly, I would surely have noticed you."
Where light reaches, there lies Noah's Domain. But the premise is that the light can reach; Noah, though the Sun, still has darkness in the world where his light cannot penetrate, and shadows that cannot be illuminated.
"If you had not seen my current form but merely felt my presence, I fear I'd have to face judgment from the Sun."
Selene joked half-seriously.
"Aunt, you underestimate my senses now."
"It's not underestimation but lack of understanding. I can no longer perceive how powerful you've become, nor understand the extent of your power. I can only conjecture and imagine about you."
Selene's tone was filled with emotion. Even having fallen to be an Abyss Lord, she couldn't comprehend a being like the Dragon King. Moreover, Noah was not merely a Dragon King; he had devoured and replaced the Sun, becoming the World Guardian, the true Sovereign of the World.
"If you want to understand, I'd be happy to show you."
"No need. I can't endure your power. Your brilliance is too scorching for me. I am now, after all, indeed an Evil Demon King."
"Evil Demon King? You are now the wife of the Lord of Hell."
After his dialogue with that Titan Earth Spirit, foster father Carlos returned to Hell, aiming to establish dominion over Hell and become a Lord of Hell capable of rivaling strong divine power.
This was destined to be a challenging path. The earlier favor shown to Casius by the Hell's will was because he was weak and easily controlled.
