If it were a normal swimming pool then Shizuka might not have any problem in fact then she might even be eager to show her adult charm to Kaneki too but unfortunately this is not a swimming pool
Rather it’s a river filled with bacteria and not to mention even she doesn’t even want to swim in that especially when she knows that if anything happened to her then who would take care of the other members of the group
Even though she is not worried about him getting injured or sick still there are still people in the group who aren’t invincible like Kaneki
In Shizuka’s eyes other than Kaneki, everyone else is fragile meaning she needs to be there to treat them in case they get sick or injured
This might be a serious issue but in the end, Shizuka knows she is just really making an excuse to let Kaneki carry her to the other end
Saeko, Rei and Saya don’t have any better excuse or any excuse but one thing is certain and that is they don’t wanna swim either, so they just wish he would carry them as well
’It’s gonna be painful but I guess I’ve got no choice especially if it’s her request’ Kaneki inwardly said this as even though he feels it’s gonna be annoying but he can’t turn down Shizuka’s request
"Okay" Kaneki replied as he agreed to their request even though he didnt want to but it seems he had no choice as he gave up and agreed
Everyone couldn’t hide the smile on their faces After hearing this, they said thank you to him since they now didnt need to worry about swimming in this river
Kaneki looked at the puppy who was resting on the group, and thought if he was gonna carry them all the way then why did he leave this poor puppy alone to cross the bridge as he also decided to take him too with everyone else

15 minutes later...
After a small break of 15 minutes, it was time to continue their journey to Saya’s house and this was also the time when Kaneki needed to carry all of them to the other side of the river
"So are you gonna carry us one by one?" saya asked with curiosity as she wanted to know how he was going to carry them to the other side
Since she feels he needs to do at least 3 rounds if he wants to bring them all to the other side, normally she would be worried about the person’s stamina since it’s gonna take a lot of energy to carry even one person to the other side, not to mention he will be bringing 5 people and 1 puppy
But since she has seen what Kaneki can do as she isn’t worried about him at all, and moreover they will be lying she doesn’t wanna see him wet
From her perspective, she thinks Kaneki is gonna use his tentacle-like things to carry them while he swims to the other side or jumps while carrying one of them at the time to the other side,
Normally jumping through a river would be nearly impossible let alone jumping while carrying a person but she knows it’s possible for him, especially after seeing yesterday how effortlessly he jumped to the balcony without any effort at all
But if she liked to choose then she would have liked Kaneki to choose the first option, because they wanted him to like that
And they include Saya, Shizuka, Saeko and Rei even though other than Shizuka they might not admit that they wanna see him in that way
But like Boys are interested in Beautiful girls, girls are also interested in handsome guys and that handsome guy is none other than Kaneki
Well other than his height there is no other shortcoming in his appearance, as not only is his face extremely appealing but also his body is perfect too
Since they all saw his exposed upper body yesterday, and now they couldn’t stop thinking about it because his body was so perfect that they would believe it if they were told that Kaneki’s body is personally made by a god, so if they get the chance then surely they wanna see it again
"First me!!~" Shizuka said this in her playful tone as she ran up to him and grabbed him from behind moreover she applied more pressure behind his back
As Kaneki felt all the softness on his back, he remembered yesterday’s events as his face started to burn up
He didn’t say anything otherwise even though they might not have noticed but he is very sure that Shizuka will notice this since he knew during his time with her that she can be so precise to notice these extra small changes in him
So he could only endure this feeling, as he went forward and toward Alice and then bent down even though Shizuka was on his back still he did it so effortlessly
"Hold her" Kaneki said as he picked up the zeeke and handed her to Alice, meanwhile the zombie let Kaneki hold her without any resistance maybe because now zeeke considered him as a good person especially after he fed her tasty food
Alice listened to him and did what he said, as she held Zeeke with both hands then patiently waited for what he wanted next
But without speaking, Kaneki held her in her arms while Alice who was carrying her puppy, couldn’t help but become shocked
’I’m gonna do it in one go’ Kaneki said this as he had no intentions of doing this repeatedly as he planned to transfer everyone there in a single go
