While sneaking over to Antarctica to visit some penguins over winter break, a green bolt suddenly impaled the protagonist. He was instantly transported into what looked like a palace hall with hundreds of unknown creatures surrounding him. They would all soon find out that they were chosen to represent their species in a battle royale, in which they would become rulers of a realm.
