King of Beasts-Chapter 558: World Wanted Order! (1)

In the underground ice cavern, #18 watched the excited Ice Emperor, its lips parting slightly as it desperately wanted to ask,
Do you want Lu Ran to be your brother-in-law, or do you want Captain Doofus to be your brother-in-law?
But no matter which it was, it had already recorded the scene.
At the same time, Lu Ran arrived swiftly with Hel in tow. Hel looked at the Ice Emperor, and the Ice Emperor looked at Hel. Both of them fell into silence, especially Hel, because she distinctly remembered sealing her younger brother away.
Which bastard dared to undo the seal? I put in so much effort!
Without much thought, Hel turned her gaze toward Lu Ran. Even without deep consideration, it was clear that this guy was behind it all.
Lu Ran raised an eyebrow. “Explaining would be too complicated. In any case, it’s not safe to stay outside for long. Let’s hide for now.”
Lu Ran currently held the nine elemental cores, and they were burning hot. Technically, the nine ice elemental gods weren’t really dead yet. Only the destruction of their elemental cores would mark their end.
At most, they had been beaten into exhaustion and fallen into a coma, a state of pseudo-death. If they were replenished with sufficient elemental energy, they could still revive.
Although Captain Doofus had knocked out the nine elemental gods and Lu Ran had swiftly abducted them, the Ice Goddess was still out there.
Once the Ice Goddess regained her senses, she would undoubtedly hunt Lu Ran to the ends of the earth. After all, even if elemental gods were relatively easier to cultivate in the Elemental Era, raising so many Divine subordinates must have cost the Ice Goddess considerable effort. She wouldn’t let Lu Ran take them away so easily to be used as amplification resources.
The earlier battle had undoubtedly drawn the attention of the gods from other divine nations. Limited by distance, they might not descend immediately, but an uncontrollable beast god of mysterious origins would unsettle the other elemental gods if left without investigation.
Thus, Lu Ran was certain that many elemental gods would soon come after them. If they didn’t hide, a swarm of elemental gods would surround and attack them in no time.
“Hide? Where?” The Ice Emperor froze.
Fuck, where? Anywhere with elemental energy would make concealment impossible!
Lu Ran still didn’t elaborate, simply summoning Six-Path Flower.
Six-Path Flower emerged in its Mortal Path form, a hellgate opening behind it as its golden eyes swept over the group.
“Come inside, and hurry up,” it said impatiently, wiping off the drool Captain Doofus had left on it.
This was Six-Path Flower’s Hell Domain. It was a portable pocket dimension and, currently, the safest place for Lu Ran and the others.
First, Six-Path Flower was a Superior Legendary being. Its level was on par with the eight elemental gods. Tracking it down wouldn’t be easy unless a Primary Divine intervened.
Second, due to era and world laws differences, elemental gods primarily cultivated elemental power. Their mastery over life, death, time, and space paled in comparison to the elite among beast gods and plant gods.
Lastly, Six-Path Flower also benefited from Lu Ran’s Time Shield enhancement. With these advantages, even an elemental god would struggle to locate Lu Ran’s group hiding in the Hell Domain.
Under Lu Ran’s direction, despite their wariness toward the Hell Domain, the Ice Emperor and Hel followed him inside. Six-Path Flower then closed the Hell Domain, its true form also entering the space.
***
The Hell Domain was a dark, abyssal space where waves of death seemed to devour all light and hope. Twisted remnants of souls struggled amidst flames, while thick, rolling clouds flickered with lightning above.
By a river of scorching lava, the Ice Emperor and Hel appeared. The moment they entered this domain, they felt a deep tremor in their souls, an involuntary fear as if their very spirits were being torn out.
“There’s no need to fear.” Lu Ran’s voice echoed as he appeared beside them.
“Just who are you?” Hel, still injured and breathing heavily, didn’t have time to interrogate the Ice Emperor about the situation and instead scrutinized Lu Ran.
When Lu Ran had taken her away, he’d mentioned taking her to see the Four Supreme Divine Dragons. Hel’s eyes flickered. From Lu Ran’s performance against the elemental gods, his greatness was undeniable.
His beastmaster skills were far better than hers. Not only did he have an Intermediate-Legendary familiar in its base state, but even a Superior Legendary one. This wasn’t achieved through temporary boosts from beastmaster skills or familiar abilities. This was their natural state.
She had never met a human stronger than herself until now. Even after traveling the continent for so long, Hel had never heard of someone like him.
Lu Ran glanced at the Ice Emperor. “You explain it to her.”
The Ice Emperor gulped, recalling their earlier deal. He turned to his elder sister and said, “Sis… He claims to be a messenger of the Supreme Divine Dragons. He freed me from my seal during your battle with the Ice Goddess and made a deal with me.”
“A messenger of the Divine Dragons?” Hel’s face was a picture of disbelief.
She whipped her head back toward Lu Ran, then sensed the dense death energy around her and murmured, “Such pure death power… this place feels like a world of the dead. I’ve never seen anything like it, even from elemental gods. Are you a messenger of the Death Dragon?”
Lu Ran chuckled. “To be precise, I’m the Life Dragon’s messenger. But life and death are two sides of the same coin.”
“You’re serious?”
“I have no reason to deceive you.”
“Then, the elemental gods’ assault on the world’s laws… Are the Supreme Divine Dragons aware?” Hel’s voice was laced with tension.
Lu Ran nodded. “Pretty much. I’d say the Four Divine Dragons will descend within days.”
Hel opened her mouth to speak, but instead coughed violently, blood staining her hand as she covered her mouth.
“Sis!” The Ice Emperor’s face twisted with worry.
She lifted her head, locking eyes with Lu Ran. “I’m fine. Messenger, may I ask… how will the Supreme Divine Dragons judge the nations…?”
“Ordinary elemental gods who followed the ten elemental rulers will likely be executed outright. As for the ten elemental rulers, they’ll probably be sealed away as punishment.
“As for the common folk, whether they participated or not, the Four Divine Dragons will likely unleash calamities upon the nations. Survival will depend on fate.” Lu Ran summarized what he knew, though he didn’t speculate on the deeper implications.
Seeing Hel’s expression darken, he knew her concerns. He waved a hand and said, “I understand you’re worried about humanity, especially the people of the Ice Nation. I’ll do my best to put in a good word for you before the Divine Dragons. After all, humanity has heroes like you. However…”
Hel bowed slightly. “Thank you, Messenger. However… what?”
The Ice Emperor interjected cautiously, “Sis, there’s a cost. The messenger’s deal with me was that he would rescue you from the Ice Goddess, but…”
“But what?” Hel hated drawn-out speeches.
“He wants all the blood in your body.”
Hel was taken aback.
Lu Ran smiled. “That’s right. I’ve recently trained an elemental familiar, currently only at quasi-Legendary rank. I’ve heard your blood has miraculous effects on nurturing elemental lifeforms, so I’d like a full body’s worth.”
A full body’s worth? Not a drop, a cup, a bottle, or a barrel, but all of it?
“If you can spare the people of all nations from divine punishment, take my blood. I don’t care.” Hel pressed her lips together, unfazed.
Lu Ran laughed. “No need to be so dramatic. I won’t drain you to death. I’m not some demon. Besides, you and your brother share such a close bond. If you’re running low, just transfuse his blood into you. You won’t die.”
“That… could work.” Hel accepted.
Losing all her blood would indeed leave her half-dead, but with her brother’s blood as a reserve, she’d recover eventually, even if weakened for a long time.
Ice Emperor was even more taken aback.
“Good. Then prepare yourselves.” Lu Ran glanced deeper into the hellscape. “Follow this path, and you’ll find a hospital. Well, I guess it’s closer to a clinic. The red-eyed, red-winged doctor is waiting for you there. They’ll handle your blood extraction, so cooperate with them.

Oh,
and I’ve prepared blood-replenishing food. Eat as much as you want. Also, before the extraction, we’ll have to take care of your severe injuries. Let the owner of this place heal you first.”
***
Meanwhile, in the outside world, the Ice Goddess had recovered. Facing the ravaged Ice Nation and the missing elemental cores of her subordinates, she hovered in the sky. The nation’s temperature plunged to an unprecedented low, as if the entire country had frozen over.
Her eyes burned with fury and killing intent. Even when facing Hel, she had never been this enraged.
***
Water Nation.
A youthful goddess, her body composed of blue currents like a mermaid, observed the aftermath of the Ice Nation’s battle through a watery screen and giggled.
Although unsure of the details, this was the first time she’d seen the Ice Goddess so thoroughly humiliated. The Legendary subordinates she’d painstakingly nurtured over countless years had been wiped out in an instant.
“As long as she’s unharmed, it’s fine. Low and Intermediate-Legendary beings lack the authority to alter world laws. With the Ice Goddess still here, the plan remains unaffected,” the Water Goddess mused, curious about the origins of that Mythical necromancer.
To uncover the truth, she quietly left her nation and descended upon the Ice Nation. Like the Water Goddess, the other seven elemental rulers, who were Superior Legendary rulers of their respective nations, also arrived.
