King of Beasts-Chapter 560: The Immortal King of the Cultivation World (1)

Lu Ran was on a roll. Even though slaying numerous elemental gods in front of the Ice Goddess was enough to shock the world and earn his ascension mission an SSS score, he decided to go for something even more thrilling by directly declaring war on the ten elemental ruler gods.
Using Dark Crow’s combined spiritual speech abilities from the Sonic attribute, he mimicked the actions of the elemental rulers, ensuring his name spread across the world. Of course, even if he hadn’t done this, his hunting of the elemental gods was no less than an outright declaration of war.
During Hel’s travels, she had actually made quite a few acquaintances. These people had been influenced by her philosophy to varying degrees, believing that maintaining the current peace was paramount and that actions that could lead to the destruction of nations should be avoided.
However, human strength was ultimately limited, and they were powerless to change the will of the elemental gods. Lacking the resolve to openly oppose the elemental gods, they eventually parted ways with Hel.
When the order for Hel’s arrest was issued by the elemental gods, those who had interacted with her knew this day would come. However, what worried them more was whether they would be implicated as her associates and face punishment as well.
Yet, amidst their fear and anxiety, before any punishment arrived, they instead witnessed the person named alongside Hel in the arrest warrant, the so-called Mythical necromancer, actively provoking the various divine nations.
“Come, kill me! I am the Mythical necromancer, Lu Ran.”
Just like the previous elemental arrest warrant, the spiritual speech spread to every corner of the world, leaving countless people gaping in disbelief.
“Lu Ran… the Mythical necromancer…”
“Who is that?”
“Another member of the resistance?”
“Mythical… the same level as Lord Hel?”
“No, the key point is, faced with the arrest warrant from the elemental gods, he didn’t plead guilty or continue hiding. Instead, he openly declared war?”
“Is this guy insane?”
This unprecedented disturbance also forced the elemental gods to take action.
“Blasphemer, you shall face divine punishment!”
In the capital of the Grass Nation, panic spread among the populace due to the anomalies in the sky.
A massive tree, not a plant lifeform but one entirely composed of grass-elemental particles, grew rapidly. Its body was capable of elemental transformation. It swung a storm of green leaves at the spiritual fluctuations in the sky, attempting to disperse the illusion.
Every elemental god knew that the previous arrest warrant had been issued by their rulers. Now, the very person they had ordered to be arrested was actively provoking them, inciting panic in their nations. They couldn’t stand by and do nothing.
At the sight of the giant tree’s appearance, many citizens of the Grass Nation exclaimed, “It’s the Grass God!”
However, the next moment, the expressions of countless people, whether devout followers of the Grass God or ordinary elementalists, changed drastically.
As the towering tree surged upward, a single word echoed out.
“Die.”
Instantly, its deep green body began to yellow, and its elemental particles decayed. The branches that had once stretched powerfully into the sky withered and crumbled.
People watched as an elemental Low-Legendary being was cursed to death with a single word, its body scattering like autumn leaves. As it died, cracks appeared in the surrounding space, and its elemental core plunged into the spatial rift, drifting away to an unknown destination.
The air was filled with a crisp, dry chill. With every breath, people felt the biting cold of late autumn pierce their hearts. With the death of this god, the capital of the Grass Nation seemed to enter autumn prematurely, as many plants withered alongside it.
“You dare call yourself the Grass God…” an unknown voice muttered, and chaos erupted in the Grass Nation.
Countless mouths hung open in shock. In nations where Dark Crow had personally cursed a god to death, panic spread like wildfire.
The Mythical necromancer could truly slay gods. Every nation descended into turmoil. The gods who descended to dispel the spiritual speech and stabilize the situation were cursed to death one after another.
In the Light and Dark Nations, the Primary Divines had not left their territories to join the assault on the Ice Nation. Thus, they were the first to react to Lu Ran’s surprise attack.
The Light Primary Divine took the form of a radiant six-winged angel. Its flawless, masculine face exuded divinity, devoid of any emotion.
On the other hand, the Dark Primary Divine was a pitch-black humanoid skeleton. Since humans could provide the purest form of faith, most elemental gods had adopted human-like forms to better connect with them. However, in essence, they were still divine lifeforms composed of elemental attributes.
The Light and Dark Primary Divines began searching for Lu Ran’s location. “As you wish.”
Meanwhile, Lu Ran, whose soul power had been amplified to another level by the overwhelming evil energy, spat out a mouthful of blood while hunting elemental gods frantically alongside Dark Crow.
Dizziness overwhelmed him as he suffered backlash from the Time Shield.
Wiping the blood away, Lu Ran couldn’t help but grin. “Finally here,
huh?

Far from being afraid, Lu Ran grew even more excited at the prospect of being hunted by them.
As the spiritual speech in the skies above the elemental world was obliterated, Lu Ran had Dark Crow transmit another message.
“Elemental gods, let’s play a game. Will you find me first… or will I annihilate every elemental god, one by one, from the weakest to the strongest?”
The humans of the Elemental Era had never witnessed such audacity. No matter the outcome today, the prestige of the elemental gods had been thoroughly trampled upon.
“Damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it!”
In the Ice Nation, the elemental gods rushed back to their respective nations to stand guard. Each stationed themselves at the heart of their domain, vigilant and seething, wishing they could tear Lu Ran to pieces. These scenes were witnessed by countless human elementalists.
The more furious the elemental gods appeared, the harder it was for them to believe that a human could provoke the rulers of the world to such an extent, and still remain beyond their reach.
“Just who… is this Mythical necromancer, Lu Ran?”
The name “Lu Ran” spread across the nations at an astonishing speed.
Back in the Hell Domain, Six-Path Flower began urging him to stop. “That’s enough. The Light and Dark Primary Divines are troublesome. Just now, they gazed upon every place illuminated by light and every corner shrouded in darkness in Stellar Moon. Even within the Hell Domain, which cannot escape the concepts of light and dark, we were nearly discovered.
“We barely managed to obscure their gaze with time powers. However, the situation is precarious now. They could find us at any moment. Let’s move to the next step.”
Lu Ran wiped away another trickle of blood. “This level of backlash isn’t even a tenth of what I endured in the Mechanical Era…”
“That’s because we’re stronger now.”
“Anyway, now that the Light and Dark Primary Divines have injured me, the Legendary mission should be considered complete, right?” Lu Ran mused.
“Indeed.”
“Then all we need to do now is wait for the Four Supreme Divine Dragons to descend. Speaking of which, I never told you my next plan, yet you already know?” He glanced at Six-Path Flower.
It rolled its eyes. “Given your personality, even if you could evade the Light and Dark Primary Divines repeatedly with the Time Shield, you wouldn’t want to endure constant backlash. So, you’d naturally choose to leave Stellar Moon and hide somewhere beyond their gaze.
“For example, we could head into the cosmos. However, since we still need to hunt elemental gods, staying too far from Stellar Moon isn’t ideal. Moreover, if they learn we’ve entered space, the Light and Dark Primary Divines could still pursue us.
“At the same time, this would delay their efforts in breaching the world’s rules, potentially affecting the arrival time of the Four Supreme Divine Dragons. Therefore, you’d definitely want to have that dog slash open the barriers of Stellar Moon and escape into the void.
“Right now, the Void God hasn’t taken office, so no one can stop us. Damaging Stellar Moon’s barriers is also part of disrupting the world’s rules.
“Additionally, parts of the void overlap with Stellar Moon. Theoretically, we’d be both extremely close to Stellar Moon and far enough to avoid detection. Even if the Primary Divines want to find us, they’d have to breach Stellar Moon’s barriers first.”
Lu Ran chuckled. “Right. Next up is guerrilla warfare against the elemental gods. This will also make the elemental gods even more furious, causing them to recklessly break the world’s rules and expedite the arrival of the Divine Dragons.”
The ten elemental rulers still saw themselves as the masters of Stellar Moon, so they were only challenging the rules set by the Divine Dragons regarding levels, and not outright destroying other world rules.
Now that Lu Ran had captured their attention, slowing their progress, he feared they might abandon their duties to hunt him down, delaying the Divine Dragons’ descent beyond the one-month window. Thus, he planned to lure them into damaging Stellar Moon’s barriers.
This would maximize the chances of the Divine Dragons being awakened by their disruptions. Without the Star-Splitting Sword Intent or the ability to create targeted portals, breaching the void would require far more destructive efforts from them than from Lu Ran’s team. It was a single scheme to outwit ten gods.
The only concern was that he, too, would damage Stellar Moon’s barriers. He could only hope his get-out-of-death-free card would work if the Supreme Divine Dragons decided to kill him. Otherwise, it’d be game over.
***
Soon, in the boundless void, a profound and eerie spatial scar slowly appeared. It resembled a gateway to another dimension, radiating an eerie yet mesmerizing glow. The space around the rift twisted, and soon, Lu Ran and his team found themselves in an indescribable environment.
In this lifeless void, Six-Path Flower immediately felt freed from the gaze of the Light and Dark Primary Divines. As for Captain Doofus, who was still clutching the swordgrass in its jaws, it seemed to have returned to yet another home.
At this point, Lu Ran pulled out a pile of elemental cores. “Let’s check the loot first.”
Aside from a large number of ice elemental cores, he now possessed Legendary elemental cores of Water, Wind, Lightning, Fire, Light, Dark, Earth, Rock, and Grass attributes.
Among these, Baby Cloud could consume all except the Grass-attribute core. It was a massive boost. As for the Grass-attribute core, it went to Six-Path Flower.
This was also why Six-Path Flower was willing to cooperate with Captain Doofus for once. After all, it stood to benefit this time, taking advantage of the fact that Manager Ying lacked Grass-attribute abilities.
Lu Ran turned to Dark Crow beside him. “Speaking of which…”
These elemental cores had been obtained after Dark Crow cursed the elemental gods to death, using its spiritual speech to manipulate the aftermath.
The method involved using its “words become reality” ability to create spatial rifts at the scene, causing the elemental cores to fall into spatial turbulence and drift to Lu Ran’s location. It was essentially a super-long-range teleportation of items.
Now, Lu Ran recalled something. During his first venture into the void, someone had mentioned that many treasures from beyond the world drifted here. Yet, during Captain Doofus’ evolution, aside from stumbling upon the Void Grass graveyard, they hadn’t found any other rare treasures, much to Lu Ran’s regret.
However, now that they were back, Lu Ran looked at Six-Path Flower and Dark Crow. “Now that you’ve reached Legendary luck, and Dark Crow has Legendary spiritual speech, it shouldn’t be too much to wish for a few Legendary-grade resources from beyond the world, right?”

Caw?
” Dark Crow blinked.
“Greedy.” Six-Path Flower scoffed.
But neither could resist Lu Ran’s insistence, so they reluctantly played along with his wishful thinking. Of course, this wasn’t the main agenda.
Lu Ran took out Taotie’s Stomach and nine Legendary elemental cores of varying attributes, preparing to let Baby Cloud feast on them first.
He then called out to Six-Path Flower. “Six-Path Flower, how’s the extraction going with #18? Bring me a barrel of elemental blood first.”
This was equivalent to reinforcing Baby Cloud with eleven Legendary resources. No familiar in Lu Ran’s team had ever enjoyed such extravagance. After all, when Dark Crow, Sudden Death King, and the others broke into the Legendary rank, they had only used one Legendary resource each. This was truly the treatment of a beloved daughter.
Upon hearing this, Baby Cloud eagerly floated away from Lu Ran’s wrist, hovering in the air.

Meow!

Food! Food!
This round, the entire team pitched in, but only Baby Cloud got to feast.
