Live-in Son-in-law-Chapter 915 916: Su Family Treasure Vault

Qin Yi felt a bit disheartened. It seemed that he wasn't the only one eyeing the Su Family Treasure Vault; even the four grand Guardian Gods had their sights on it.
It seems impossible to have it all to himself.
"Alright, I admit I'm looking for the Su Family Treasure Vault, but I haven't found it."
The Azure Dragon and the others looked at him with amused expressions.
Feeling a bit embarrassed, Qin Yi retorted, "We were the ones who destroyed the Su Family. If we don't take what's inside the vault, wouldn't it be giving it away to others? Are you willing to make clothes for someone else's wedding?"
"You brat, getting the truth out of you is pretty tough," the White Tiger scolded with a laugh.
Xuanwu said, "Then what are we waiting for? Let's find it together and split the contents of the vault evenly among the five of us."
The five of them started searching the Su Family residence.
Qin Yi began by checking a few secret rooms nearby, but they were all empty, completely barren.
They then arrived at the Su Family gardens.
Disappointingly, after searching for over an hour, they couldn't even find a trace of the vault.
"Where do you guys think that old thief Su Wuyu would have set up the vault?" Qin Yi asked, somewhat frustrated.
Azure Dragon pondered for a moment and said, "The Su Family has a long heritage. The location of this vault was definitely chosen by Su Wuyu, and it should have existed for a long time."
"So where do you think the vault would be?"
Azure Dragon was momentarily stunned, then shook his head.
Qin Yi looked utterly disappointed, thinking he talked so excitedly but didn't know anything.
Xuanwu laughed and said, "Brat, your brain is the sharpest. Think carefully; you're the best at deception. If it were you, where would you hide the treasure vault?"
Qin Yi rolled his eyes dramatically, annoyed at being attacked while just trying to find the vault.
"If it were me, naturally I'd feel safest keeping it on me."
Xuanwu looked disdainful, "The Su Family has a long heritage; who knows how many resources they've accumulated? With such massive resources, who would carry them around? Unless there's someone else adept at hiding things like you."
Because Qin Yi often conjured things mysteriously, they still hadn't figured out that storage rings existed.
However, Qin Yi's eyes suddenly brightened, and he suddenly dashed outside.
"Brat, where are you going?"
"Wait for me; I'll be right back."
Xuanwu watched as Qin Yi disappeared, muttering, "Could that brat have found the location of the Su Family Treasure Vault?"
White Tiger said, "He likely has some clues."
"Wouldn't he gobble up the vault's resources for himself?"
Azure Dragon and the others rolled their eyes. The old turtle had no qualms about competing with the youngsters, adamantly refusing to suffer any loss.
Meanwhile, Qin Yi appeared beside Su Wuyu's corpse.
Su Wuyu's head had been severed by him. Stifling his disgust, Qin Yi searched Su Wuyu's body.
Soon, Qin Yi's eyes lit up as he found a strangely shaped stone key, like a serrated small knife, on Su Wuyu.
"This must be the key to the vault," he muttered a few words and turned to head back.
"Brat, what clues did you find?" Xuanwu asked.
Qin Yi pulled out the stone key and said with a smile, "Thanks to your hint, this key must be for the vault. We just need to find a place with a similar stone texture, and we'll quickly find the vault."
"Since I gave you that hint, do I get an extra share of the vault's contents?" Xuanwu shamelessly suggested.
"Go away!" snapped White Tiger, unceremoniously pushing him aside.
Azure Dragon looked at the key in Qin Yi's hand and said, "This is made of stone iron, indestructible. It seems the vault or its entrance is also made of stone iron. If we find a place made of stone iron, that should be the vault."
The group nodded, dispersing to search.
Not long after, Xuanwu suddenly shouted that he had found something.
The others hurried over.
But looking at the small structure before them, with a familiar shape, made everyone's mouths twitch because it was an outhouse.
Qin Yi muttered, "I told you to find the vault, not crap."
Xuanwu rolled his eyes, "Brat, are your eyes just for show? Look closely at the weathered places on this door."
Qin Yi stepped forward to closely inspect and realized the outhouse door indeed had something peculiar. The outside was wrapped with something wooden, but the weathered area exposed a black-gray color, identical to the key in his hand.
Qin Yi was thrilled; it looked like he had found the right place.
He reached to push the door open, but found it wouldn't budge.
"Boom!"
Qin Yi's palm pressed against the door, releasing a violent force from his palm, causing the ground to crack, blowing off the wooden wrapping to reveal a black-gray door.
However, under Qin Yi's mighty blow, the door remained unscathed, showing its remarkable hardness.
White Tiger laughed and cursed, "The Su Family is truly perverse, disguising the vault as an outhouse. Isn't that disgusting?"
Azure Dragon, however, said, "But you can't deny their disguise was successful. I've passed by this place twice and never noticed it."
"Who would have thought such an important place as a vault would be an outhouse?" Qin Yi chuckled.
The stone door had a keyhole, and Qin Yi inserted the key, slowly turning it.
But suddenly he paused.
"Brat, what's the matter?" White Tiger asked.
Qin Yi frowned, "The Seven of Su Family."
"What Seven of Su Family?"
"There are seven members regarded as the Seven of Su Family. They're all quite powerful, yet since this started, I haven't seen them," he said, furrowing his brow.
No wonder he felt something was missing. It turns out he hadn't encountered the Seven of Su Family.
"You guys open the vault. I'll go look for them. Their Cultivation isn't weak; if they escape, they could cause us a lot of trouble later on."
Qin Yi turned and ran, leaving the key still in the door.
The Azure Dragon and the others were dumbfounded. In their minds, Qin Yi was always covetous of wealth, but his current behavior left them stunned.
"Did that kid take the wrong medicine? Isn't he afraid we'll open the vault and secretly hide everything inside?" Xuanwu muttered.
White Tiger also looked bewildered, "That kid, truly unpredictable."
Azure Dragon was filled with relief, "Qin Yi is a person of great wisdom. He knows right from wrong clearly. It seems he's not as greedy as we thought."
"I don't think so," Vermilion Bird said.
The other three looked at her.
Vermilion Bird smiled, "Actually, this brat's character has always been clear. He's extremely good to his own people, ruthless to enemies. It's just us four; if it was anyone else, he definitely wouldn't have left the key and walked away."
The other three slightly nodded; Vermilion Bird had a point.
"So should we go inside now?" Xuanwu asked. Qin Yi's trust made them feel reluctant to open the vault.
Azure Dragon smiled, "Since we're here, let's go in and take a look."
