Lust System: Conquering the World Beauties-Chapter 384 The Four Mysterious Man

Chapter 384

Chapter 384: Chapter 384 The Four Mysterious Man
The morning sun crept through the curtains, soft and golden, falling across the room in quiet stripes. Liam stirred, the faint warmth of sunlight brushing his face. His arm tightened instinctively around the soft body resting against him.
Lana.
Her head lay on his chest, her hair a mess of brown waves spread across the pillow and his bare skin. She looked peaceful, lips parted slightly, her breathing slow and even. For a moment, Liam just lay there, watching her. The sunlight kissed her face, making her look unreal — like the world had decided to pause just for her.
They hadn’t crossed the line last night. It had gotten close — too close — but they’d stopped. Somewhere between the heat and the silence, both of them had known it wasn’t the moment. And somehow, that restraint made everything between them feel even stronger.
Liam lifted a hand and brushed his fingers gently across her cheek. Her skin was warm, soft, almost glowing under the light. He smiled faintly. "Hey," he whispered, his voice rough from sleep, "wake up."
She didn’t move at first. A small sound left her lips — half a groan, half a hum — as she shifted slightly, pressing her face deeper into his chest.
"Five more minutes," she murmured, her voice still heavy with sleep.
Liam chuckled quietly. "You said that thirty minutes ago."
Her eyes opened slowly, lashes fluttering before those green eyes met his. She blinked, then smiled — that small, lazy morning smile that made his heart twist.
"Morning," she said softly.
"Morning," he replied. "Sleep well?"
She nodded, then yawned, stretching a little before settling back down against him. "Better than I have in a long time," she said quietly. Her voice was low, honest.
He ran his hand down her back, feeling the warmth of her skin through the thin shirt she’d worn to bed. "You drooled on me," he said with a teasing grin.
Her eyes widened, and she lifted her head fast. "I did not."
"You did."
"I didn’t!"
Liam laughed. "You did. Right here." He pointed to a random spot on his chest.
Lana narrowed her eyes, trying not to smile. "You’re lying."
"Maybe." He grinned, and she finally laughed — a soft, sweet sound that filled the quiet room. She sank back against him again, her laughter fading into a small sigh.
For a while, they just stayed like that. The silence wasn’t awkward — it was calm, comfortable. Her fingers traced small circles on his chest while he stared at the ceiling, lost in thought.
He didn’t know where things were heading between them, but right now, it didn’t matter. This morning — her warmth, her laughter, her breath against his skin — it felt real.
Outside, a bird chirped near the window. The world was awake again.
Liam finally spoke, his voice low. "We should get up soon."
Lana groaned softly. "Don’t ruin it."
He smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Alright. Five more minutes."
She hummed, satisfied, and closed her eyes again. He held her closer, his mind wandering — back to the chaos waiting for him, to the people back home.
He had no idea.

Meanwhile, back home, trouble was already brewing.
Dickson stood in front of the massive two-story house with his mouth half open. "What the hell..." he muttered, looking at the place like it had just fallen out of heaven. "You sure this isn’t a museum or something?"
Seo Yeon unlocked the front door, rolling her eyes. "It’s a house, Dickson. Not a temple."
"Yeah, but this house?" he said, waving his arms around. "How the hell can you afford something this expensive? You do OnlyFans or something?"
Kelly snorted, trying to hold in a laugh. Ann shook her head. Lilith just crossed her arms, unimpressed as always.
Seo Yeon didn’t even look at him. "Liam bought it for me," she said casually, pushing the door open.
Dickson froze. "What?"
She turned to face him, smiling a little. "He bought it for me."
He blinked, trying to process that. "The fuck do you mean he bought it for you?"
"Exactly what I said."
Dickson almost choked. "That motherf—" He stopped himself, running a hand through his hair. "We’ve known that guy for how long? And he never thought of buying me even a bike... and you get a whole damn house because you’ve known him for what months?"
Seo Yeon raised an eyebrow. "Wrong."
"Wrong?" Dickson said. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
She smiled. "He didn’t buy it for me after months. He bought it the first day we met."
Dickson just stared at her. "You’re kidding."
"Nope."
"Unbelievable," he muttered, shaking his head. "This guy’s out here buying houses for strangers now."
Before he could rant further, Ann brushed past him with her bag slung over her shoulder. "You done talking?" she said flatly. "I’m tired."
Kelly followed her inside, her eyes widening at the sight of the interior. "Holy shit... this is gorgeous."
Lilith stepped in next, her sharp eyes scanning the space like she was inspecting territory. "Just what I need," she said finally, dropping her bag on the couch before heading straight for the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Kelly asked.
"The bathroom," Lilith replied without looking back. "I need a warm shower."
Seo Yeon tilted her head. "You even know where it is?"
Lilith smirked faintly. "I’ll find my way."
And she disappeared upstairs, her voice fading with her footsteps.
The others looked around, still in disbelief at how big the place was — clean, modern, and filled with sunlight. For a moment, they all went quiet.
Then Dickson sighed and muttered under his breath, "That bastard really outdid himself this time."
Dickson’s phone buzzed in his pocket. The vibration was short but strong enough to pull his attention. He frowned, fishing it out, thinking it was just another useless notification.
But when he glanced at the screen, his face changed. His usual laid-back expression tightened, his eyes narrowing as he stared at what was flashing before him.
Ann noticed the shift but didn’t say anything yet. She and Kelly were too busy unpacking their bags, sorting things on the table. Lilith was still upstairs, probably showering. Seo Yeon was near the counter, checking the kitchen cabinets.
Dickson stood there for a few seconds, the phone still in his hand, silent. Then he turned to Seo Yeon.
"Hey," he said, voice low but firm. "Your TV working?"
Seo Yeon gave him a confused look, one brow lifting. "Of course it’s working. Why?"
"Turn it on," he said quickly.
She blinked. "What?"
"Just—turn it on. Now."
That tone made everyone look up. Ann paused halfway through unpacking, her dark eyes meeting his. "What’s going on?"
Dickson didn’t look away from the phone. "There’s something on the news," he said, his voice unusually serious.
Seo Yeon frowned but grabbed the remote anyway. The large TV on the wall flickered to life, the soft hum of static filling the quiet room before the screen settled on a bright news channel.
The sound of chaos hit instantly — sirens, shouting, and the shaky voice of a er trying to keep control of the situation.
The camera was pointed toward a street — or what was left of it.
Four figures stood in the middle of the road. Smoke rose from the surrounding buildings, glass shattered everywhere. Cars were overturned, debris scattered like confetti after a war. A wide circle had formed around them, people keeping their distance while the police shouted orders, pushing civilians further back.
The er’s voice was trembling but loud enough to be heard over the noise.
"—what’s going on here? Nobody understands anymore. Just a month ago, the world had no idea that superpowered freaks even existed! But now—just after one week—we’ve seen more than anyone should see in a lifetime!"
The camera zoomed closer on the four figures. Their clothes were torn, their faces partly hidden by masks or shadows, but their posture screamed confidence — and danger. One of them, tall and broad, lifted a hand and the ground around him cracked like thunder.
Ann stepped closer to the TV, her expression tightening. "Who the hell are they?"
The er continued, her voice shaking.
"Authorities say these four individuals appeared out of nowhere, causing massive damage to several buildings in central Lirena City. According to eyewitnesses, they’re demanding to see someone — a man named Liam. They’ve given a warning that if he doesn’t show up in ten minutes, they’ll start killing people."
Everyone in the room went silent.
Even Lilith, who had just come down the stairs with a towel around her neck, stopped mid-step. "What did she just say?"
Dickson didn’t answer. His eyes were locked on the screen, jaw tight. "They said Liam," he muttered.
Vanessa walked closer, her. "That... that can’t be right."
The news camera panned over the destruction — fire trucks, shattered walls, civilians being dragged away by officers. The air looked thick with dust and smoke.
"—again, for those just tuning in," the er repeated, her voice clearer now, "four unidentified individuals have taken control of a city block and claim to be searching for someone named Liam. Police and special forces have been deployed but are unable to get close due to... whatever barrier these people have created."
Dickson’s brows furrowed. "Then why the hell are those idiots still watching from a distance?" he said sharply, motioning at the people behind the police lines on screen. "You’d think they’d be running by now."
As if on cue, the er’s tone shifted.
"Wait—breaking update! We’ve just received confirmation from the police that the crowd isn’t there by choice. A massive energy field—what eyewitnesses describe as a giant dome—has surrounded the entire area. No one can get out. People have been ordered to move as far back as possible, but it seems the dome keeps expanding, trapping anyone who gets too close."
The camera pulled back, showing it — a faint, translucent dome shimmering over the entire city block, bending the light around it. It looked unreal, like something from another world.
Ann’s eyes darkened. "They trapped them."
Seo Yeon stared at the screen, the color draining from her face. "They’re serious," she whispered. "They’re actually doing it."
The air in the room grew heavy. Nobody spoke for a long moment. Only the TV filled the silence — the muffled panic of the er, the chaos in the background, the faint sound of sirens echoing through the broadcast.
