Mistakenly Yours: Contract Marriage With The Billionaire-Chapter 134: You’ve a sister

Chapter 134

Chapter 134: You’ve a sister
The next morning after Luca took a shower, Sara changed the bandage around his arm. As she tied it and cut the ends with the scissors, she spoke, "Will you come to the office with me?"
"No. I have some other work," Luca replied in a serious tone.
"What kind of work?" Sara put the bandage into the first-aid kit along with the scissors. "Don’t tell me you’re going to find Martin’s whereabouts."
"You guessed it right," Luca agreed easily. "I’ve burdened Remo with this work, but I’m pursuing a separate lead. Also, I have an old acquaintance in Italy helping me track the communication paths Martin used. So, don’t be worried. I won’t be harmed," he added, trying to reassure her.
"If you say so, then I will trust you." Sara carried the first-aid box to the cupboard and put it at the bottom side before closing it. Turning to him, she continued, "If you need any kind of help, you can tell me. I can handle more than just administrative tasks."
"Just take care of the work at the office," Luca told her, his trust evident. "Attend the meetings on my behalf. I trust your judgment on any immediate decisions."
"Okay. Will you be free by lunch?" Sara asked.
"I should be. I’ll call you once my work gets over," Luca assured her, quickly putting on a shirt. She walked to him and closed the buttons for him. She placed her hands on his chest, lifting her head to meet his gaze.
"Don’t seduce me with your eyes," Luca whispered, his voice husky, and kissed her suddenly, catching Sara off guard. His lips nibbled hers as his arms wrapped around her waist, drawing her close until their bodies pressed together. Her eyes closed instinctively, embracing him and the kiss that had already enveloped her in its magic.
Luca moved back toward the bed, falling onto it while Sara was atop him. His arms, however, didn’t release her lower back, keeping her anchored to him even as they paused the kiss. Sara smiled, her heart racing, as she traced his lips with her pointer finger.
"How can my eyes seduce you?" she murmured, intrigued by his confession.
"I don’t know, but they snap the control I have on myself. Can you feel it that I’m hard now?" Luca’s husky voice fell into her ears, causing her to blush instantly. She tried to move away, but he didn’t let her go, his embrace tightening.
"Let me go," Sara said, her eyes glinting with a playful challenge that betrayed her words.
"I can’t. Can we do it quickly?" Luca’s lips found her chin, then he moved south to her throat, and sucked her skin. His action brought a soft moan from her when he quickly flipped her over. Now, he was hovering above her, their eyes locked.
Not wasting time, he rained kisses on her neck, fumbling with the buttons of her satin shirt. His hand found her breast, giving it a gentle squeeze. Another moan erupted from her mouth, followed by his name.
"Luca," she mumbled, biting her bottom lip, fully consumed by the unexpected passion.
"We can continue at night. If I get late for the office, it won’t leave a good impression on the employees," she stated, catching his hand and wanting him to stop.
"You won’t be late, love," Luca said, coaxing her as his lips found hers again in a final, deep kiss. Sara kissed him back with the same intensity. However, Luca pulled away soon, not letting the passion lead them further. "I can wait for the night," he stated, his voice still rough with desire but his willpower returning.
She smiled, relief and longing mixed in her eyes, and sat up along with Luca. He fixed her shirt by buttoning it up before she moved to the mirror to check herself.
Luca watched her in admiration with a warm, intense smile on his face.
"Let’s go then," she said, turning to him fully after fixing her dress. He rose to his feet, and the two walked downstairs to have their breakfast.

Joseph yawned as he stepped out of his house, a phone clutched in one hand and a coffee mug in the other. He was scrolling through his schedule when a sudden message from his secretary popped up.
"Call me when you see this, Sir!"
Joseph furrowed his brows reading the urgent message and immediately dialed Iria’s number.
"Oh, you are awake, Sir!" Iria said from the other side, her voice tight with suppressed excitement. "Good morning," she greeted him.
"Good morning. Yeah, I woke up earlier today," Joseph replied, already sensing the urgency. "What happened?"
"You’ve a sister. Do you know about this?" Iria asked him, skipping the formalities entirely.
"What? What are you saying?" Joseph asked, the sudden shock causing him to lower the mug onto the nearby coffee table with a clatter.
"Sara Falcone... I mean Sara De Augustino is your sister. I think that’s the reason your mother went to Madrid, Sir. Did she never tell you that she had a daughter from her first marriage?" asked Iria, dropping the biggest revelation of his life.
"No," Joseph refused with disbelief. "Are you sure? How did you find out about this?"
"I’m one hundred percent sure, sir," Iria replied. "I was simply tracking your mother’s whereabouts when I found her in a restaurant in Madrid, talking to Sara. I dug deeper and found out that Mrs. Montes was previously Gloria Falcone. She changed her name after marriage," she explained, detailing her investigative process.
"I see." Joseph had no idea what he should even say. His mother was always a woman who ran after money and never shared a good bond with him.
But such a big truth she had hidden from him, it truly upset him and, at the same time, disappointed him. He abruptly hung up the call and lowered his hand, staring blankly in front of him.
"But does that even matter?" Joseph murmured to himself, wondering if he should even think about meeting Sara.
Ever since he was born, he was meant to lead the Empire of his father. At a young age, he lost him, while his mother never even cared for him as all she thought of was taking the entire inheritance for herself. Joseph always felt the void of not having a family. Now, suddenly, his half-sister appeared, and a part of him told him to meet Sara.
"But what if she’s like Mom?" Joseph muttered, the fear of another manipulative woman chilling him. He sat on the chair and again sipped the coffee, which already had turned cold.
Picking up his phone, he impulsively searched about Sara and a few articles immediately popped up. To his surprise, he found quite good articles about her, focused on her business acumen, and her involvement in various charities, except for a few recent ones detailing the huge scandal involving the collapse of Falcone Industry before she decided to marry Luca suddenly and save her company.
"Why did she marry a mafia boss? Will she be safe?" Joseph murmured, genuine concern mingling with shock.
"Wait! Luca sent his secretary to me asking me to take my mother back and not to pester his wife. Does he know Sara and I are half-siblings?" he wondered, the pieces of the puzzle clicking into place.
Though he was still reluctant to meet Sara, a part of him again screamed at the back of his head to once see her and ensure she was safe in her marriage. The thought of his half-sister being married to a man like Luca, especially given the known dangers of that life, tugged at his conscience.
"But why should I even care about her? She has her own life. And if Luca knows about me, then he must have told her as well. Turns out, Sara doesn’t want to see me either," Joseph murmured, rationalizing his reluctance.
"Agh! Why did I even get this sudden urge to see her?" he chuckled self-deprecatingly and walked into the house after grabbing his phone and leaving the cold coffee outside.
The house maid bowed to him as he entered. "Sir, your mother is back," she informed him, referring to Paulina.
"Bring her in," Joseph ordered before sitting on the large couch.
"Son!" The word rang in the air as Paulina stepped into the house after such a long time. She let go of the handle of the trolley bag and walked to him in excitement. Quickly she lowered herself next to him and hugged Joseph.
He rolled his eyes and pushed her away, maintaining a certain distance from her.
"Don’t call me ’son’ when you don’t know it’s meaning," Joseph told her. "Why did you never tell me that I’ve a half-sister in Madrid? Why did you go to see her? What’s your plan this time? Are you going to ruin her life for your own evil motives?" He sharply accused Paulina, whose face had turned pale.
