MOBA Game Apocalypse-Chapter 74: Adam, Master of Anatomy

Chapter 74

Chapter 74: Chapter 74: Adam, Master of Anatomy
Panic. One of the worst things a human could do.
"W...what the fuck? What the fuck?!"
Susan’s eyes widened even further as she stared down at the impossible sight. Her mouth fell open, her eyes trembling with something she hadn’t felt in years. Something she hasn’t felt since the Game.
Fear of the unknown.
Fear as she watched Adam’s neck snap back to normal while his hand was clamped to her ankle. She... hadn’t seen anything like this even in the Game.
"Get the fuck off me!"
She kicked Adam away with vicious force, her boot connecting with his ribs and launching him into the stone wall. The impact echoed through the dungeon, the sound of bones crushing loud enough to reverberate off every surface.
But to her absolute horror, Adam didn’t even wait a second before casually standing up from where he’d just crumpled. She could hear it, his ribs clicking, wet from his flesh knitting back together.
Right there, in front of her eyes, she watched as if time itself was rewinding.
And then he lunged.
"What the?!"
Of course, he was still slow for Susan. But her fear was already slowly settling in, and she instinctively swatted him like he was an annoying fly.
You know this, Adam. Once you start to struggle, once you begin to fear, once you begin to panic... everything feels so intense even when they’re not. Epinephrine, such... a weird thing.
But of course, even when panicked, her stone fist still connected with his head and sent him sprawling again... or at least that was what was supposed to happen.
But Adam had grabbed her arm during the brief contact.
Due to her shock at his impossible resilience, she wasn’t able to react when Adam practically crawled up her body like some demented spider, using her own arm as leverage to leap onto her back.
Then, like a monkey, Adam wrapped his legs around her waist and his arms around her neck, locking his grip on her.
"Get off! Get off!" Susan roared, reaching back to grab both his arms with her stone fists. The grinding sound of bones being crushed filled the air as she pulverized his forearms.
She felt his grip loosen, felt herself break free—but only for a moment. Because immediately,
impossibly
, she felt Adam’s arms tighten around her neck again.
The grip wasn’t even that strong for her. She wasn’t choking, wasn’t struggling to breathe from his grip. But there was something else stealing her air—a feeling she hadn’t experienced since her early days in the Game.
Panic. Adam was right.
She was panicking. Just moments ago, Susan was smiling and mocking Adam. But panic is a switch, and right now, Adam was making sure it was kept turned on.
He was like a cockroach to her. Not even close to her level, not even in the same league as her. And yet, just like a cockroach, there was something viscerally disgusting and terrifying about Adam. About being touched by something so insignificantly weaker than you.
Like an elephant jumping away from a mouse.
That was exactly what Susan was feeling right now. Unfortunately for her, unlike a cockroach, even if you squashed Adam, he would keep moving.
She grabbed his arm again, fingers digging into flesh and muscle. This time Adam’s grip didn’t loosen at all. Instead, she tore off strips of flesh and muscle, blood coating her hands and making them slip. She stared at her palms in confusion, seeing pieces of his skin and flesh clinging between her stone knuckles and the gaps of her nails.
She stared at her hands for a moment, but soon squirmed at the sight. She was used to seeing people dead and mangled... but she wasn’t used to them clinging onto her despite the fact.
"Get off, get off, get off!"
She grabbed Adam by the head, wanting to crush his skull like an egg, but the blood matting his hair caused her stone hands to slip away uselessly.
"G-get off me!"
Susan stepped backward violently, ramming herself and Adam through the rusted bars of the nearest cell.
"Kgrh!" The metal bent and snapped, shards of iron piercing through Adam’s back and chest. But Susan didn’t stop—she couldn’t stop.
She continued ramming backward, breaking through the bars of the opposite cell, then straight into the brick wall beyond. The stones cracked under the pressure, mortar raining down as Adam’s ribs caved in against the unforgiving surface.
"H...ho?" Susan gasped as she felt the pressure around her neck loosen.
That finally seemed to knock him unconscious. Adam’s arms went limp, sliding away from her neck.
Susan gasped for air she didn’t actually need, cackling nervously as relief flooded through her.
"Finally! Fucking freak, what the hell are you—"
Before she could even finish the thought, before she could take that breath of relief, Adam moved again.
This time, he climbed even higher on her body, placing his legs on her shoulders and locking her neck between his thighs.
And then he grabbed one of the rusted iron bars that had pierced his own thigh, yanked it free, and drove the jagged metal straight toward her eye.
And this time, it went through.
"Grah!" Susan screamed as the rusted metal scraped against her eyeball. But even through the pain, she managed to catch his wrist before the bar could penetrate deeper.
But that didn’t matter, however, as Adam had actually already thought of a strategy to win this. He was wrong into thinking that he couldn’t do his "Adam Special".
He could do it—just a different version of it.
As Susan continued to scream and panic to keep the iron bar from going deeper, Adam stretched out his index and middle fingers on his free hand. And then, with an empty look in his eyes, he shoved them deep into the back of her open mouth.
He slid his fingers deep and found her epiglottis... flipping it open and inserting his fingers deep into it to block her airway completely.
"Glurgh!"
Adam wasn’t afraid she would bite his hand off. That was nearly impossible. He knew this firsthand because the Hospital had tested it extensively on him.
Susan’s body wouldn’t allow her to bite down while she was gagging and panicking—her throat would override any conscious thought of biting down.
Of course, with his entire hand inside her mouth, his fingers were being crushed by even the slightest movement of her jaw. But it didn’t matter.
"?!" Susan could feel his mangled fingers healing and squirming inside her mouth like worms, and that made her want to spit out his hand even more, gagging even stronger now.
She puked, but with nowhere to go, some of her vomit just slipped through her airway too... and it burned.
Tears began streaming from her eyes as her face changed color. Her lips shifted from pink to blue to purple. Soon her body began to convulse from lack of oxygen, muscles spasming uncontrollably.
Her eyes rolled back, showing only white.
And then, she dropped.
And with that, Adam won.
