Modern Cultivation : The Strongest Couple Bonded by Vampire System-Chapter 614 - 614: Explosion

Chapter 614

Sigma's purple eyes flashed.
"They're more expensive to maintain," Sigma said calmly.
"But the lifeforrce quality is worth it."
Alex's jaw tightened, killing intent surge form his eyes.
They maybe descendant of traitors.
But that's not their fault.
He already think each of them as his people.
His warhammer brightened until the white flame looked like a sun about to burst.
MingYue exploded with power beside her.
Ice armor formed in an instant, two pair of wing appear on her back, then shattered outward into a storm of blades.
They attacked at the same time.
Alex slammed the warhammer toward Sigma's chest, aiming to crush the core mechanism before it could finish.
MingYue thrust her palm forward, life force pulling hard, trying to rip the green streams away from Sigma's control.
Sigma raised his hand.
Space distorted.
A domain spread around him, bending distance and direction.
Alex's warhammer did not land where it should have.
It struck empty space, as if Sigma had stepped aside without moving.
MingYue's drain grasped only a fraction of the flow before the domain twisted the streams back into the formation.
Sigma's body healed faster.
Alex's eyes sharpened.
He adjusted mid-swing.
Runes appeared around his warhammer, forming a second lock, wider and stronger.
He was trying to break the domain.
MingYue moved to the side, her eyes tracking the dome below.
She raised both hands.
All the ice blades aimed downward.
MingYue stabbed the air.
The spears shot off like meteors, leaving pale trails behind them as they plunged toward the planet.
They crossed the empty distance in seconds.
When they hit the upper atmosphere, a ring of white mist bloomed around each spearhead as the air flash-froze on contact.
They carved straight lines through the clouds, dragging long comet tails of frost behind them.
From orbit, it looked like the planet had been stabbed by a storm of falling stars made of ice.
MingYue's eyes stayed cold as she guided their trajectory.
Every blade was aimed at the dome's rune lines, trying to pierce the formation on the surface and sever the connection.
Sigma's eyes flickered.
"Useless," he said.
Earth power surged from his body.
A wave of stone rose up from the planet.
It surged upward in a curve, climbing out of the atmosphere like a wall being pulled into the sky.
The wall thickened as it rose, layer after layer of compressed rock, turning into a massive arc between MingYue's spears and the city below.
The first ice blades hit.
BOOM!
The impacts cracked the stone and detonated ice into glittering fragments.
The second wave hit.
CRACK! CRACK!
The stone wall held.
The spears shattered in succession, exploding into thousands of shards that scattered like snow turned into shrapnel.
But MingYue did not stop.
She snapped her fingers.
The shards changed direction.
A hailstorm of razor ice flooded the arc wall, drilling into every crack, freezing each fracture the moment it formed.
Alex pressed his attack again.
He forced his warhammer through distorted space.
The hammer head struck Sigma's chest this time.
BAM!
White flame exploded.
Sigma's torso dented inward, and the core mechanism inside him shook.
For a moment, the purple glow flickered.
But the green streams below surged again.
Sigma's body healed the dent in seconds.
The city turned silent.
People fell to their knees.
Some collapsed.
Some crawled, too weak to stand.
Green mist poured out of them like smoke, rising into the dome's glowing lines.
Alex's expression turned ugly.
"MingYue," he said, voice low. "We stop the dome now."
MingYue's gaze hardened. "I know."
Sigma's domain expanded again.
The battleship behind them drifted slightly, pulled by a gravity that should not exist in open space.
Sigma's purple eyes stayed locked on Alex.
Like a ship being dragged by an invisible hand.
The hull creaked as the gravity pull increased.
The floating rocks around it trembled, their orbits collapsing as they were pulled into the same direction.
Toward Elyndra.
MingYue's eyes widened slightly. "He's pulling the ship down too."
Sigma's purple eyes stayed fixed on Alex.
"Will you fight me," Sigma said, "or stop the ship?"
Alex mind moved fast.
If he tried to deal with the ship.
That would give Sigma space to breathe.
And Sigma would not waste that opportunity.
He would trigger something else, creating another trap.
Alex raised his hand and tried to seize control remotely through the cube.
The ship responded for a second.
Thrusters flared.
The engine roared.
Then the gravity pull crushed the correction.
The ship dipped harder, dragged toward the atmosphere like a falling mountain.
Alex clicked his tongue.
Too strong.
This was not normal gravity.
This was Sigma's space power combined with the planet core.
Alex's life force exploded.
A column of white light shot upward from his body, so bright it washed the stars around them into pale dust.
The rune lines around his arms lit up like burning chains.
He gripped the warhammer with both hands.
The space shell around it tightened until it looked like a compact star trapped in a cage.
The flame inside the hammer head began to gather.
It condensed harder and harder, like the fire was being forced to collapse into a single point.
The glow turned violent.
The stability line in Alex's senses trembled, warning him that the power was close to breaking its own container.
He did not care.
He poured everything into it.
Sigma watched without moving.
It only smiled, like it wanted to see what Alex would do.
Alex's eyes turned sharp.
He drew one last rune in the air.
Then he threw the warhammer.
The moment it left his hand, space cracked.
The hammer vanished.
It skipped distance.
It appeared again right in front of Sigma's chest.
The warhammer's white flame flared.
The space shell screamed as it resisted tearing apart.
Sigma's eyes widened by a fraction.
Then the hammer hit.
BAM!!!
Light swallowed everything.
Almost like supernova.
Even the city lord on planet ainode could see the explosion in the sky.
It's the same with the avalance on the moon still fight the mecalyte army.
All of them stopped fighting looking toward the bright light in the sky.
