Chapter 174

Chapter 174: Chapter 174: Temptation After Drinking, Master Ford’s Eyes Turn Red
Eleanor Valerius lightly bit her lip; she hadn’t expected Sebastian Ford to restrain himself for a whole night yet still want more now.
"No..."
She gently shook her head in refusal.
Sebastian Ford frowned, clearly not the answer he wanted to hear.
He said nothing and continued to coax her.
"No way..."
In the end, Eleanor still refused him.
If she was swayed, wouldn’t that mean she was willing to accept his games?
At this moment, Sebastian Ford’s actions came to a halt.
If Eleanor was passionate, his reason would succumb to greed.
But her constant refusals kept him sober.
He was still breathing heavily near her ear, yet he braced his arms with no intention of continuing.
Eleanor’s body was stiff, and she didn’t dare look back at him.
Suddenly, Sebastian rolled out of bed and strode towards the bathroom.
Eleanor could hear the sound of the shower inside.
Was he taking a cold shower?
She hid under the covers, trying to calm her rapid breathing.
It wasn’t until after a long cold shower that Sebastian regained his composure.
When he came out, he saw Eleanor closing her eyes tightly and pretending to be asleep to avoid him.
"Get up and freshen up. I’ll make breakfast."
Was he really not angry?
Eleanor peeked out, blinked, and thought maybe obedience would be easier in this situation.
However, while brushing her teeth, she couldn’t help but gag from throat irritation.
Sebastian was changing clothes and frowned as he heard her retching. "What’s wrong with your gastritis? I’ll call a doctor to check you out later."
Upon hearing this, Eleanor worried the doctor might discover she was experiencing morning sickness due to pregnancy.
"I’ve already been to the hospital. If you’re still worried, you can arrange for me to have another check-up at Ford Hospital."
Her tone deliberately carried ulterior motives.
The more she hid, the more suspicious he became.
"Are you thinking of escaping to call for help when you go to Ford Hospital?"
Sure enough, Sebastian suspected her.
Eleanor used a retreating approach to conceal the pregnancy secret.
A moment later, she went downstairs to find Sebastian and breakfast waiting at the table.
Seeing Eleanor being so obedient now, Sebastian suppressed a gloomy look as he spoke, "You better not think of escaping. I’ll be back to make lunch. You should learn to enjoy the pleasure of being a canary."
Hearing this made Eleanor lose her appetite for breakfast.
Watching Sebastian leave for the company, her eyes followed him, longing for the freedom outside.
She worried about Chloe and her revenge plan.
Sebastian couldn’t be coaxed at all now.
He mustn’t find out the pregnancy secret, or she and the baby would be held hostage.
...
Sebastian was in a bad mood at the office.
When he learned Damian Lowell was using a Sinclair Family project to test him, forcing him to reveal himself, he knew it was an attempt to find Eleanor, and this made him even gloomier.
He also had to shake off Damian’s tail to rush back to the villa to make lunch for Eleanor.
Though it blurred the lines between personal and professional matters, he wanted to monopolize Eleanor.
Even if this kind of captive revenge was self-torturous.
Eleanor never expected to enjoy the highest treatment as a hostage.
Seeing Sebastian serve her three meals a day, it genuinely felt like she was being specially fed and kept.
But Eleanor was very unhappy.
Her expressionless face was a silent protest against Sebastian.
That evening, Sebastian prepared dinner just for her.
"I have a social engagement and won’t be back. Don’t wait up for me."
"Can you take me with you?"
Eleanor cautiously looked at him, trying to be coy.
The social event that night included Damian Lowell.
Eleanor might not know, but Sebastian was visibly displeased and secretly angry.
"No way."
"...Bastard!"
Eleanor lowered her head to eat but suddenly felt a sourness rising in her nose.
She truly had enough!
Watching her hesitate to speak, Sebastian ultimately left by himself.
However, when he returned from the engagement, the drunk Sebastian found himself missing Eleanor more in the car.
The Ford Family bodyguards in the vehicle behind were wary of Damian’s tracking.
Damian had failed several times and gave up.
But tonight, it was the Sinclair Family who covertly followed Sebastian to his villa location.
Receiving the Sinclair Family’s , Damian realized that a thorough plan was needed to rescue Eleanor.
...
Eleanor was asleep.
When Sebastian returned, he didn’t wake her.
With the smell of alcohol on him, he went for a shower, but the restlessness within him wouldn’t fade.
Leaving the bathroom, he walked to the bed and watched Eleanor’s sleeping face.
Before his hand touched her, he couldn’t help himself and kissed her lips.
Eleanor seemed to be woken by the alcohol fumes, her consciousness slow to react.
Realizing it was Sebastian, she knew she should push him away.
But her body felt weak; she moved slightly, only to be enveloped in his embrace beneath the covers.
"You’re drunk..."
Sebastian, freshly out of the shower, felt hot to the touch.
He had indeed drunk but wasn’t actually drunk.
He just intentionally acted drunk before Eleanor, hoping it would break their previous stalemate and bring more sincerity.
"No."
His voice sounded somewhat indistinct.
Yet, he just wanted to be unrestrained.
It definitely sounded like he was drunk.
"...Your hair isn’t dry; you’ll catch a cold."
At that moment, Eleanor bit her lip tightly, trying to maintain her last shred of sober reason.
She clearly couldn’t withstand Sebastian pretending to be drunk like this.
"Do you want to drive me away?"
Upon hearing this, Sebastian’s large hand cupped her face, his dark, deep eyes reflecting her features.
The dangerous throb was because of her, a testament to his surrender.
"Eleanor, why not give me this?"
His voice was hoarse, carrying an indescribable hint of vulnerability.
Eleanor almost drowned in Sebastian’s gaze.
Her heart skipped a beat, not expecting him to plead this way.
Sebastian seemed different when drunk.
"I..."
"I want."
Sebastian’s kiss interrupted her refusal.
Then, Eleanor couldn’t tell if she was enchanted by him or if her senses succumbed to emotions.
At that moment, Sebastian comprehended Eleanor’s thoughts, frowning in confusion.
"Do you want to punish me?"
Eleanor’s actions spoke for her.
Ultimately, Sebastian succumbed to madness, his breathing uneven because of her.
Their intimacy and the similarly chaotic heartbeats seemed to resonate.
The hair on Eleanor’s cheek was damp with sweat.
But Sebastian still hadn’t let go, and she felt a bit scared.
"I want to get up."
In a soft voice, Eleanor tentatively reminded him.
Suddenly, Sebastian slowly lifted his head, and the danger in his gaze startled Eleanor!
