Mr. Pretentious: Miss Valerius, He is Begging for a Title-Chapter 181: Master Ford Regrets It—Does He Want to Marry Me?

Chapter 181

Chapter 181: Chapter 181: Master Ford Regrets It—Does He Want to Marry Me?
Eleanor Valerius was carried into the car by Sebastian Ford.
He sat in the driver’s seat, glancing at her slightly curled figure, opened a bottle of water, and handed it over.
"Why does your stomach hurt?"
"Ran too hard."
Eleanor drank two sips of water, eased the discomfort, and looked up at him saying, "My sister was taken by the Croft Family. They mistook Chloe for me, the vehicle just left, there’s still time to catch up, can you help me?"
Upon hearing this, Sebastian’s eyes turned deep as he mocked quietly.
"You tricked me into waiting at the Valerius Family villa, when you actually wanted to run away with your sister. Now she’s in danger, and you only come back to ask me to save her?"
Faced with his sharp gaze, Eleanor didn’t hide nor deny it.
"Yes, I know you’re here, which is why I’ve come to you for help."
After failing to escape and falling into the trap, she could already imagine the consequences.
Eleanor’s honesty actually pleased Sebastian.
She’s finally taking the initiative to choose him once.
However, Sebastian squinted his eyes and coldly asked, "She’s your sister, and doesn’t concern me, why should I help you save her? Eleanor, shouldn’t you first explain why you tricked me and tried to escape?"
"I don’t have time now."
Upon hearing his refusal, Eleanor turned to get out of the car.
Suddenly, Sebastian locked the car door, trapping her within his gaze.
"Try running one more time!"
"I’m not running anymore, Chloe is in danger now, I need to save her!"
Eleanor really gave up.
Right then, she remembered she needed to call Damian Lowell.
Sebastian caught her movement, reached out to hang up her call, and threw her phone to the back seat.
"You..."
"I rejected you, shouldn’t you come to beg me?"
Eleanor’s incomplete complaint was tackled back by Sebastian’s pointed reminder.
At this moment, Sebastian drove in the direction Eleanor had pointed out.
"I haven’t agreed to help you yet, you still have time, think about how you’re going to plead me!"
Of course, Sebastian wanted to keep Eleanor by his side first, in case she tried to contact Damian Lowell, and to prevent Damian from coming to snatch her.
This time, the Sinclair Family bodyguards could only watch Eleanor being taken away by Sebastian.
Damian Lowell was on his way over, but he couldn’t get in touch with Eleanor.
After receiving a call, he could only follow the direction given by the Sinclair Family bodyguards to chase after them.
Eleanor sat in the sports car and looked back.
"Who are you looking for?"
The sinister voice fell into her ears.
Sebastian was now emotionally sensitive, any of Eleanor’s actions would easily trigger him.
"Master Ford goes alone? The Croft Family has people with three cars."
Eleanor frowned, and explained before she realized what Sebastian was asking.
When she decided to run away, she didn’t think she’d meet Sebastian alone again.
Plans were overtaken by changes, foes met on narrow paths.
"I tricked you into coming to the Valerius Family to pick me up, to stall Regina Jennings, I didn’t expect to involve Chloe in the accident. I don’t want to live a life of being imprisoned anymore, you came to catch me, I was scared and naturally chose to escape."
"I didn’t destroy your revenge on the Croft Family today, I even helped you."
Sebastian still couldn’t help but take credit, looking sideways at her, questioning, "You said you wanted to talk to me seriously, but you reneged and ran away, choosing the worst solution. Now you want me to save your sister, have you thought about what price you have to pay?"
"I won’t run away anymore."
Eleanor was really tired, feeling powerless in front of him like a bird with clipped wings.
The next moment, she looked at him with weary eyes, asking, "What would it take for you to agree to save my sister?"
"First think about what you can give me."
Sebastian wanted to see her sincere initiative.
Next, Eleanor truly lowered her head to seriously think.
A life for a life?
But, the baby is innocent.
Mr. Ford said before, he wouldn’t allow a woman from outside to bear Sebastian’s child, especially not her.
She secretly carried the Ford Family’s bloodline, if revealed, the baby wouldn’t be safe.
Even though Damian Lowell repeatedly tried to persuade her, she had decided to give birth to the baby.
Facing Sebastian, she must further hide the existence of the baby and protect him well.
"What am I to you?"
Eleanor lifted her eyes to gaze at him, without waiting for his answer, she continued, "You came to catch me, was it purely because I escaped your control, or was there another reason? Like perhaps Master Ford regretted it and wants to reconsider what I said about marriage?"
"Marriage again? Do you really want to be my wife so badly?"
Sebastian eyed Eleanor cautiously.
He never thought about marriage.
No matter with whom.
The word wife was even more unfamiliar.
Yet, when he uttered it just now, it seemed strangely acceptable?
Perhaps it was because Eleanor was sitting right in front of him.
"Of course I want to be Mrs. Ford, which woman in Aethelgard doesn’t want to marry Master Ford?"
Eleanor took a deep breath, hiding the emotions in her gaze as she said, "But I don’t know what you’re thinking, are you reluctant to let me go because you’ve fallen for me? Can our lover’s game turn into genuine affection over time?"
If you really care about me, I’ll give you whatever you want."
Eleanor knew she couldn’t cheer Sebastian up.
Instead of guessing his thoughts, why not leave the decision to him?
Clearly it was her who cared, yet she was provoking and testing him.
At this point, it was Sebastian’s turn to be silent.
He hadn’t expected his loss of control could lead Eleanor to misunderstand that he loved her?
Ridiculous!
He just didn’t want to let go yet.
Just entangled, how could it rise to the level of love?
He wouldn’t love anyone, nor marry anyone.
The wrong indulgence needed to be soberly extracted.
Suddenly, at a red light, Sebastian stopped the car, reached out to touch Eleanor’s face, his voice calm and cold, "I want you to be my lover, for two months, as long as you obey, I won’t restrict your freedom."
Lover...
Eleanor’s eyes trembled slightly.
"You intrigued me; I’m interested, that’s the rule of the game between us."
Sebastian’s fingertips roamed freely on her skin.
Clearly loving, yet restraining.
"Just for fun, talking about affection is excessive, don’t overestimate your value, I’m already beginning to tire of you."
Sebastian’s low voice was both a reply to Eleanor and a reminder to himself.
The last two months!
He was certain he could kick his habit of her.
The way it ends was up to him; he wouldn’t allow Eleanor to calculate him, nor truly lose to his own loss of control.
As long as Eleanor gave him everything, he’d eventually get tired.
"Think it over, answer me."
Sebastian restrained himself, withdrew his hand.
He didn’t look at Eleanor’s expression or eyes, it was his way of hiding his guilt.
But Eleanor saw Sebastian’s ruthlessness.
Just a game.
Letting her secretly moved liking become extremely embarrassing.
She liked Sebastian but never thought she would be with him.
The Ford Family and Valerius Family had a social class difference, and between her and him lay two separate worlds.
The foundation of mutual love requires both sides to be equal.
Sebastian didn’t like her; he just wanted a lover’s relationship.
She wasn’t loved, nor would her child be loved. The word "illegitimate child" had a weighty burden.
"Master Ford wouldn’t deceive me, right?"
Eleanor looked at him, her stiff fingers slightly clenched against her palm, maintaining a smile more painful than crying on her face.
"Just being your lover for two months is enough? Afterward, wherever I want to go, whoever I want to be with, you won’t care?"
"Mm, in two months, I’ll let you go."
Master Ford vowed fervently.
Eleanor laughed, her feelings hiding in her heart like shattered pieces with sharp edges.
The pain, injuries deep within weren’t visible on the surface.
"Alright, I accept your terms."
