Chapter 75: Chapter 75: She Said It Hurt, He Instantly Went Berserk
Nightclub, VIP lounge.
Eleanor Valerius’s proactive approach piqued Evan Donovan’s interest instantly.
Especially when his gaze clearly saw her face, a pure yet defiantly untamable demeanor, she was simply an exquisite beauty.
"Third Miss Valerius wants to see me at this late hour, why are you still standing at the door?"
Evan Donovan had drunk a lot, his clothes were open as he lounged on the sofa, with scantily clad hostesses on either side.
His gaze on Eleanor Valerius was filled with blatant greed.
At this moment, Eleanor Valerius stood at the door, tense.
But she came prepared.
She knew very well that trying to take revenge on Evan Donovan with her own power was like an egg hitting a rock.
So she deliberately let Sebastian Ford know that she had come here.
What she needed to do was buy time and stage a drama of borrowing a knife to kill someone.
"Young Master Donovan, I’m here to ask you to let my second sister go."
Eleanor Valerius spoke to him from the doorway.
There were security guards outside, and stepping inside would be too dangerous for her.
Moreover, she had arranged with Flora Vaughn to disguise as a cleaning woman and hide to secretly take evidence.
She had to guard against Evan Donovan using force, and if there was danger, Flora Vaughn would call the police immediately.
"Let go? I didn’t force her; she came to me for fun herself."
Evan Donovan was arrogant and domineering, relying on the Donovan family wealth and power, there was nothing he wouldn’t dare to do.
Yet the more he looked at the unreachable Eleanor Valerius, the more tasteless the women in his arms seemed to him.
"But the Valerius women really live up to their name, especially enchanting in bed. Ivy Valerius may not be young, but she is experienced, and recalling that night, I can’t help but want to play with her again."
Evan Donovan’s words were lewd and humiliating.
The women around him laughed along.
Eleanor Valerius gritted her teeth, holding back, her nails digging into her palms, suppressing her anger.
"What will it take for Young Master Donovan to agree with me?"
She pretended to plead with him.
Then, Evan Donovan lecherously smiled and asked her, "That depends on how sincere Third Miss Valerius is."
He sent away the other hostesses, asking Eleanor Valerius to come in.
There was no surveillance inside, and no matter what happened, there would be no one to ask for help.
Eleanor Valerius’s move was risky, but she had no retreat.
"If you want me to let Ivy go, it’s simple, just spend a night with me. Considering how pretty you are, if you obediently listen to me, maybe I’ll show some compassion and ensure you can still marry into the Lancaster family."
Evan Donovan had no fear of the Lancaster family, taking someone’s wife was a thrill.
"Ha, does Young Master Donovan think the only label on me is the Lancaster family?"
Eleanor Valerius squinted her eyes and sneered.
Avoiding surveillance, she was deliberately provoking him.
"Young Master Donovan doesn’t even qualify to touch me, and I don’t fancy you."
"Damn! Who are you to say you don’t fancy me? If I want to play with you, I can, who says I don’t qualify!"
Evan Donovan, taking advantage of his drunkenness, was easily provoked by Eleanor Valerius’s push and pull.
He grabbed a wine bottle and stood up, threatening viciously, "Since you’re here tonight, don’t think about running. Obediently drink with me, if you don’t serve me well, I’ll make both you and your sister serve me together!"
Eleanor Valerius, backing away with nowhere to retreat, held her breath.
Finally, the phone she was waiting for rang.
It was Flora Vaughn informing her that Sebastian Ford had arrived at the nightclub.
In the next instant, she slapped Evan Donovan hard across his hideous face.
"Get away from me! You’re not qualified to have me accompany you!"
This slap completely enraged Evan Donovan.
"You damn bitch, courting death!"
Evan Donovan swung the wine bottle in his hand at Eleanor Valerius’s head.
A loud "crack" resounded in her ears, buzzing.
There was a momentary delay in her reaction, then intense pain quickly spread from her left forehead.
Eleanor Valerius clutched her wounded spot, hearing the sound of blood gushing, the thick and pungent blood trickling down her face, slowly dripping, staining her chest and dress red.
Though she was mentally prepared, she didn’t expect it to hurt so much.
Suddenly, Eleanor Valerius started to laugh eerily.
Evan Donovan looked at her up close, stunned by her unexpected reaction.
But then, Eleanor Valerius’s expression changed.
Terror-stricken, tears streaming, she looked at him.
"Young Master Donovan... please don’t kill me!"
Eleanor Valerius screamed shrilly and pushed the door open, running out of the lounge.
Now she needed to get to Sebastian Ford!
"Damn, you set me up?"
Evan Donovan came to his senses, furious, and chased after Eleanor Valerius.
The distance down the stairs seemed far as she ran.
Eleanor Valerius felt the wound hurting more and more. Blood flowed in front of her eyes, her vision turning red.
Her face, contrasted by the scarlet, appeared even more pale.
Her body gradually lost strength, racing for breath.
"Sebastian Ford..."
Why hasn’t she reached him yet?
Did she miscalculate the timing?
Meanwhile, Evan Donovan had already caught up behind her.
"You cheap woman, I will never let you go!"
Eleanor Valerius staggered and stumbled down the stairs, just a few more steps, her pace already weak and faltering.
At that moment, she heard approaching footsteps, raising her head suddenly.
In her blurry vision, she could clearly recognize he was Sebastian Ford.
Before she could cry for help, Evan Donovan, from behind, grabbed her collar.
The force of the impact from his arm sent Eleanor Valerius tumbling down the steps, sprawling on the ground.
Her dress was torn, revealing a large expanse of her snow-white skin on her back.
"Cheap woman, tonight I’m going to kill you!"
Evan Donovan did not notice the tall figure approaching, his eyes burning with intense anger.
This scene unfolded too quickly to be stopped.
It heavily struck Sebastian Ford’s eyes, causing a shock.
He was just a step too late!
He could only watch helplessly as she fell down.
Ignoring his image, Sebastian Ford knelt down, gently touching her.
"Eleanor Valerius!"
His voice was so tense it trembled slightly.
At this moment, Eleanor Valerius lay curled up in a pool of blood.
Her body was nearly numb, spasming unconsciously, yet she mustered the last of her strength to look at him.
"Sebastian Ford... I, I’m in so much pain..."
Knowing he was there, knowing she was safe.
Eleanor Valerius couldn’t hold on any longer and passed out.
Seeing her wounded state, the sight of the bright red blood was piercing.
Sebastian Ford held his breath, taking off his coat to cover Eleanor Valerius’s body, his eyes filled with fierce rage, completely losing control.
He paid no attention to the surveillance cameras.
Rushing up the stairs, he used his long legs with force to kick Evan Donovan down the stairs.
Evan Donovan didn’t even see who kicked him but was already rolling on the ground, clutching his stomach, groaning.
"Someone! Come protect me!"
He shouted loudly; the nightclub’s VIP area always had security guards.
It was at this time that Wayne Wainwright and Nathan Kendrick, just moments behind, arrived.
Sebastian Ford approached Evan Donovan, kicking him unconscious with a second kick, his anger still unquenched, wanting to continue.
"Sebastian! The Donovan kid, you can’t kill him!"
Wayne Wainwright urgently stopped him!
But seeing Eleanor Valerius’s condition, he could only hastily instruct Nathan Kendrick, "Erase the surveillance, don’t alert the security, we can’t leave evidence against the Ford Family."
At the same moment, Wayne Wainwright rushed over to restrain Sebastian Ford, lowering his voice to remind him, "You have to get Eleanor Valerius to the hospital first, I’ll handle it here."
Sebastian Ford’s eyes trembled, forcing down the intense killing intent.
He carefully picked up the severely injured Eleanor Valerius and hurried to the hospital.
The Ford Family’s private hospital’s emergency room had been alerted and was ready.
Eleanor Valerius was immediately sent to the operating room.
The red light illuminated.
Sebastian Ford stood there, his tall body unmoving, his clothes stained with her blood.
The bodyguards who followed Master Ford had never seen him like this before.
The man who could destroy everything seemed to be praying devoutly.
Yet, everyone in Aethelgard knew Third Master Ford did not believe in or worship God or Buddha.
Eleanor Valerius was the first to make him break his promise.
