My Aloof Husband Can't Stop His Devoted Affection-Chapter 121: Most delighted

Chapter 121

Chapter 121: 121: Most delighted
The word ’worth’ contains so much, but Cen Jin understands its meaning and smiles knowingly, "Even if you hadn’t said that, Shi Shu would never pass up the chance to rip you off this time."
"Gladly."
"Oh, right." Cen Jin thought for a moment, her face showing a touch of shyness and embarrassment, "Um... about us... Should we tell your parents and my mom?"
"Hmm? What about?" Jiang Baizhou raised his eyes innocently, looking as if he knew nothing.
Seeing this, Cen Jin knew he was playing innocent, definitely putting on an act. Her embarrassment and shyness disappeared as she nodded along with his words and smiled, "Hmm, nothing, nothing at all."
Jiang Baizhou squinted his eyes slightly and responded softly, "Hmm."
"..."
"If you want to say it, go ahead. I think they’d be very happy." Jiang Baizhou, seeing her expression, curved his lips into a smile. Today might be the day he smiles the most in over twenty years.
"Then let’s wait a bit!"
"Hmm?"
"Afraid it might surprise them too much."
"Surprising?" Jiang Baizhou raised the pitch of his voice in response, "Is it that surprising?"
"Isn’t it?"
"Not to me."
"Then pretend I didn’t say anything." Cen Jin pouted, and just when the waiter brought the food, she stopped worrying about it and started eating without reservation. Halfway through, she instinctively checked the time and found it was only half-past two, so she casually asked, "Are you going back to the clinic later?"
"No."
"Where are we going this afternoon then?"
"Where do you want to go?"
"I don’t know."
Jiang Baizhou paused to think for a moment, then said in a gentle tone, "Let’s go see a movie! We have time."
"Sounds great!" At his words, Cen Jin responded excitedly. She had mentioned wanting to see a movie before, but was too busy lately and had no one to go with.
Come to think of it, since she and Jiang Baizhou had known each other, they hadn’t gone to a movie alone together.
After they finished eating and left the restaurant, Jiang Baizhou drove to the nearest cinema. When choosing a film, Cen Jin wanted to watch a coming-of-age romance about childhood sweethearts, but knowing that Jiang Baizhou usually watched financial and news channels, she figured he wouldn’t be interested, so she hesitated.
"Pick what you want to watch." Jiang Baizhou stood beside her, noticing her frowning face, and, guessing her thoughts, casually tossed out a suggestion.
Cen Jin looked up at him, her hand suddenly squeezed by his. She smiled slightly and said to the ticket seller, "Two tickets for ’The Rest of My Life’, please."
"Sure, please choose your seats."
Looking at the screen’s seat numbers, Cen Jin considered for a moment, then gave two numbers, and the ticket seller handed her the tickets.
"What time is it?"
"Seven minutes left." Cen Jin checked the time and then looked toward the snack area, "I want to buy drinks and popcorn."
"Wait here for me; I’ll go."
"Okay."
"What drink do you want?"
"Fruit tea, please!"
Upon hearing her, Jiang Baizhou turned and went to the beverage and snack area to line up, while Cen Jin sat in the sofa area waiting. After about two or three minutes, as Cen Jin was looking down at her phone, a pair of white sneakers appeared in her view. Looking up, it wasn’t Jiang Baizhou’s handsome face but a bright and sunny-looking face with glasses.
