Once all the dishes were served, the group was chatting lively. Lu Shishu subconsciously poured a glass of wine for Cen Jin while pouring for everyone, only realizing afterward.
She, being a lightweight, was ’unworthy’ of drinking.
So, after a slight hesitation, she pushed the wine towards Jiang Baizhou, but upon seeing his righteous and stern face, she silently retrieved the glass and poured the wine back into her own glass.
Such good wine absolutely shouldn’t be wasted on the two of them, so she might as well drink it herself!

Once Jiang Baizhou settled the bill, the group left the restaurant. Lu Shishu, with a bright smile, said, "Thank you, Doctor Jiang, for spending so generously today!"
"It certainly was a spend today, just that bottle of wine that Shi Shu ordered is... ahem, but it tasted amazing. I love it. "I already did, they should be here soon."

"Yes, we’re on the same route anyway, so it’d be a waste not to share the ride," Yu Feici nodded with a smile, then glanced at Ye Lingran beside her, "What about you, Ling Ran? Are you taking our ride back or what?"
"Ling Ran should just ride with us!" Cen Jin chimed in, looking over.
"No, it’s fine. I’ll just take a cab back myself. It’s not far from here to Yue Mountain District, only about twenty minutes or so," Ye Lingran smiled and politely declined with a wave of her hand.
"Come on! We’re passing by Yue Mountain District on our way back anyway, why bother with a cab! Come along! No need to be so formal with me!" Cen Jin tugged at her arm, then waved her hand at Lu Shishu and Yu Feici, "Shi Shu, Feici, we’re heading off first. Let us know when you get home safely in the group."
