"Yes, I have." Jiang Baizhou answered calmly, holding her as they walked into the residential area.
"Did you go by the house today? How’s the renovation going?"
"Designer Luo said it should be completely done in a day or two."
"That’s pretty fast." Cen Jin walked with light steps, observing the lengthened shadows cast on the ground by the streetlights. This time was different from before; they used to just walk side by side with their hands straight down, and from the shadows, they seemed as if they were holding hands. Now, they were closely nestled together, inseparable like their shadows on the ground.
"Why are you smiling?" Jiang Baizhou asked softly upon seeing her sweet, radiant smile.
Cen Jin lifted her gaze, meeting his deep eyes, and shook her head with a laugh, "Nothing! Just remembered something. Oh, by the way, didn’t you suggest recently that I could hire two assistants for the studio?"
"Yeah, so?"
"Lingran and I talked about it today and decided to hire assistants. Two of them. We’ve already posted the job information and are waiting for applicants to inquire."
"That’s good." Jiang Baizhou nodded, his eyes glancing at her with care and affection, "I’ve noticed you haven’t been resting well lately, you seem to have lost weight."
