Chapter 524

Chapter 524: 013: Confession_2
"Does it really have nothing to do with you?" Nan Jiayan interrupted her with a gentle smile, his expression still unchanged from the usual, still so sunny and handsome.
Yan Chengxi was taken aback, staring at him in a daze.
"I’ve already lost count of how many times I’ve rejected you, and today I’ll make it clear once more: I don’t like you, though I thank you for your affection. It’s just that my heart belongs to someone else, I’m truly sorry. Also, regarding the post on the forum yesterday, coincidentally, I have investigated it too. Ah Ze knows as well, and if this matter is exposed, none of the three of you would look good, let alone go to court." Nan Jiayan’s tone was very light, as if he were telling a little story, but this very voice sounded extremely harsh to Yan Chengxi’s ears.
"In the future... stay away from matters related to my girlfriend, otherwise, if I take action next time, it won’t be as gentle as her. That’s how I am; I always strive for quick resolution with things I don’t like, and never leave things half-done. I’ve already given you enough respect before." Nan Jiayan took a small step forward, leaning slightly but not too close to her, his face still beaming with a smile, yet every word was piercingly pointed, his tone carrying a hint of coldness and disdain.
Yan Chengxi felt a chill down her spine, her pupils widening bit by bit, never expecting that the outwardly sunny, smiling like a resplendent June sun Nan Jiayan would have such a dark and indifferent side.
"I look forward to your handling, just waiting for good news." Nan Jiayan straightened up with a smile, leaving that sentence behind as he directly walked past her, approaching Lu Shishu: "Let’s go! Have you all decided where to eat? Ah Yang and the others should be here soon."
Lin Xuwan and He Qianyue both glared at Yan Chengxi and the others with displeasure, then pulled Cen Jin along, saying: "What bad luck, on a day worth celebrating, almost lost all appetite because of certain people. Let’s go, let’s go, if we stay any longer, I won’t be able to eat my big dinner tonight. Come, let’s discuss where to eat tonight, where to give Wanwan the treatment of a mini tycoon."
After they pulled Cen Jin away, Lu Shishu asked while walking, glancing at him: "What did you just say to Yan Chengxi?"
"Guess."
Lu Shishu withdrew her gaze, rolling her eyes, not eager to pursue it further, she muttered: "Suit yourself if you don’t say, I’m not interested in listening anyway."
"I said, in the future, don’t do anything that harms you, and stop thinking about impossible things. Otherwise, I won’t feel sorry and be merciful." Nan Jiayan said with a leisurely smile, it even sounded somewhat unreliable and joking.
"Hmph." Lu Shishu responded with a dismissive snort.
"See, you don’t believe me when I say it. I’m telling the truth." Nan Jiayan shrugged and spread his hands, a bit helpless.
Lu Shishu didn’t say much more after that, it’s unclear whether she believed him or not, but her face always beamed with a smile.
In the evening, after discussing among Lu Shishu, He Qianyue, and Cen Jin, they finally decided to dine at a seafood stall near the school. Although not as luxurious and upscale as a western restaurant, the prices here weren’t cheap either.
Besides Lu Shishu and her three sisters, Nan Jiayan, Ling Xuyang, and Ming Haize could not be missing, but Su Yixing and Qi Feng were also familiar with them, and well-connected, often playing basketball together, so they came along too. Upon learning that the dinner was hosted by Lin Xuwan, Ling Xuyang generously decided to cover the meal, saying his girlfriend treating his brothers to dinner would be a laughing matter if said out loud, and it’s also his duty to treat her friends.
The atmosphere of the dinner was great, since they’ve just come of age but are still students, they only brought a few bottles of cold beer, and Cen Jin wasn’t much of a drinker, so Lu Shishu had mentioned it earlier, and her drinking capacity was decent; she drank three glasses straight. If Nan Jiayan hadn’t stopped her, she probably would have continued.
He Qianyue and Lin Xuwan also got quite tipsy, eventually halted by Ling Xuyang and Ming Haize.
It was near nine o’clock when the gathering dispersed, Ling Xuyang paid the bill, and Lin Xuwan then said she wanted ice cream, so he pulled her along to buy some, whereas He Qianyue held onto Cen Jin, chatting and laughing as they walked toward the school.
