Hearing this, Nan Jiayan chuckled silently, glanced around as well, and raised an amused eyebrow, "Go ahead and shout then, see if anyone pays attention to you. Besides, it’s not illegal for me to hold my own girlfriend, who dares to say anything?"

"Of course not."
"I think you are."
"Whatever my girlfriend says goes. If you say I am, then I am; if you say I’m not, then I’m not." Nan Jiayan shamelessly grinned.
Lu Shishu rolled her eyes at him, seriously contemplating for a while, unsure of her own feelings. However, she felt a unique emotion towards Nan Jiayan that she never experienced with other boys—not sure if it was love—but she didn’t mind Nan Jiayan’s approach.
Nan Jiayan wasn’t in a hurry, patiently waiting for her response, his clear eyes filled with anticipation and a fond smile. His face showed no sign of panic, rather a sense of confidence, as if he was sure of winning her over.
After a long while, Lu Shishu took a deep breath, looked into his soulful eyes, "Then... I’ll give you a one-month trial period!"

Lu Shishu nodded, "Yes, it means we’ll try being together for a month first. If it works out, we can continue. If not, then..."

As his words fell, he looked at her smiling face, his eyes deepening, and he raised his hand to hold the back of her head, lowering his head to kiss her lips.
