Chapter 462

Chapter 462: These Are...?
Feng Si handed the item to Feng Er and waited as Feng Er and the others inspected it.
As they examined the item, Feng Ba said, "Brothers, this is a military tiger order of the Zhou Empire. I have seen it once before when I was on a mission."
When he said this, Feng Er and the others exchanged shocking looks.
After a brief moment of silence, Feng Er asked, "Fourth Brother, you said you stole this military tiger order from one of those people. Did you see that person’s face?"
Feng Si shook his head, thought for a few seconds, then replied, "They all covered their faces with black cloth, so I couldn’t see their faces. However, I did notice that each of them had a totem on the back of their neck."
Listening to this, Feng Er’s eyes lit up. "Do you remember the shape of the totem?"
Feng Si nodded. "Yes."
Getting his answer, Feng Shi walked to the wooden table and brought over some paper, a writing brush, and ink to the bedside table.
After Feng Shi placed the bedside table in front of him, Feng Si picked up the writing brush and began to draw.
A few moments later, he set the writing brush down and said, "It’s done."
Surrounding the bedside table, Feng Er and the others looked at the drawing.
The moment Feng San saw it, he said with certainty, "Those who injured our brothers from the Fourth Division also had this totem on the back of their neck. There is no doubt that they are from the same group."
Hearing this, Feng Er turned to Feng Jiu and saw him nod in agreement.
"Good. With this totem as a clue, it won’t take long for us to find the mastermind," Feng Er said as he put away the drawing.
Looking at Feng Si, he added, "Fourth Brother, you should rest. Leave the rest to us."
Feng Si shook his head and said, "Second Brother, I need to to our Master about my mission."
Knowing that Feng Si had been on a secret mission, Feng Er hesitated for a moment before saying, "You can’t move right now. Rest for a few days before we to our Master."
Feng Si wanted to refuse, but Feng Shi cut him off, "Fourth Brother, you’d better listen to Second Brother. If you push yourself now, you might die on your way to Xiqiang City. And if something happens to you, none of us will escape punishment from our Master."
Hearing this, Feng Si paused, then finally nodded. "Alright."
Seeing that he had agreed, Feng Er smiled. "Good. Then we won’t disturb your rest."
Turning to Feng Shi, he added, "Tenth Brother, the Fourth Brother is in your hands now."
Patting his chest, Feng Shi said, "Leave it to me. I guarantee he will fully recover in two days."
With that, Feng Er led the others out of the infirmary room.
On the way back to Feng Er’s office, Feng San said, "Second Brother, we must this matter to our Master. This military tiger order from the Zhou Empire is very important. It might help our Master reach his goals faster."
Feng Er pondered the suggestion for a moment, then replied, "You are right. We must everything to our Master. But before that, we need to investigate this matter clearly."
"Yes, Second Brother," Feng San and the others replied in unison.
While Feng Er was busy investigating the people who ambushed Feng Si, Feng San, and Feng Jiu, time flew by.
When the sun sank beyond the western horizon and the moon slowly climbed into the night sky, Feng Xiyan finally returned to the Great General’s mansion.
As he dismounted from his warhorse, he noticed servants busily moving items.
Handing the reins to one of the soldiers at the main gate, he asked, "What’s happening in the mansion? What are the servants doing?"
While one soldier led the horse to the stable, the other clasped his fists and replied, "ing to the Great General. This subordinate is unsure, but it seems the servants are moving things from the main courtyard to the east courtyard."
Feng Xiyan frowned at his words.
’Moving things? Could it be—?!’
Without another word, he rushed toward the main courtyard.
Seeing how fast Feng Xiyan ran into the mansion, the soldier scratched his cheek in confusion, then shook his head and resumed his post.
Inside the main courtyard, Bai Hanyun was holding a note and a pen, busily counting items inside a wooden box.
Jotting down a number, she walked to another wooden box and ordered, "Xiao Cui, have the servants move this one away."
"Yes, Miss Bai." Xiao Cui closed the wooden box, turned to a nearby servant, and instructed, "You, take this to the east courtyard."
"Yes, Miss Xiao Cui." The servant hurried over, calling for another servant before they lifted the heavy wooden box and carried it away.
When Feng Xiyan arrived, he saw servants carrying boxes out of the main courtyard while Bai Hanyun counted things together with Xiao Cui.
Seeing him approach, the servants paused, placed down the wooden boxes, clasped their fists, and greeted him. "This servant greets the Young Master."
Feng Xiyan nodded in acknowledgment. "Mhm."
Hearing the greeting, Bai Hanyun looked up and saw Feng Xiyan hurrying toward her.
She stopped her work, then smiled at him. "Feng Xiyan, welcome back. Have you finished your work at the barracks?"
Seeing the courtyard filled with wooden boxes, Feng Xiyan nodded and asked, "Yun’er, what are you doing? These are....?"
Bai Hanyun put her hands on her hips and proudly said, "These are Susha Danyi fabrics I bought today."
Feng Xiyan raised his brows slightly at her proud expression. Looking at the thin, almost transparent fabrics, Feng Xiyan frowned.
’These fabrics are so thin that it is practically useless to block the wind or sunlight. Why did Yun’er buy them?’
Worried she had been scammed, Feng Xiyan cautiously asked, "Yun’er, how much did you pay for these fabrics?"
