Another violent explosion erupted, sending up a thick cloud of smoke that swallowed Madara Uchiha whole.
Minato Namikaze and Kushina had already retreated to their original positions, but Minato's condition was clearly not good. His right hand was a mess, covered in deep, torn wounds.
"Kushina, are you okay? Why use a technique that isn't even fully developed?"
Kushina rushed to his side, worry written all over her face. She took his right hand in both of hers, crimson chakra wrapping around it as she used the vitality of the Tailed Beast's chakra to heal him.
"It may not be complete, but it's got power."
"Look."
Instead of being bothered by his own injury, Minato looked toward Madara Uchiha. When the smoke finally dispersed, everyone could see what had happened. The strengthened Susanoo had been shattered by that strike—its chest blown open, its skeletal frame completely crushed.
"Adding Nature Transformation to high-density chakra?"
"But it's still unrefined. An incomplete technique."
Madara Uchiha saw through it immediately. Using an unfinished jutsu against him? How laughable.
"Don't stop—keep attacking!"
"His Susanoo is broken!"
"Raikage!"
Ōnoki's shout sent the Raikage charging in again—this time with a small old man following behind him.
"Use the same attack again!"
"This time, I'll support you."
After several exchanges, Ōnoki had already figured out a countermeasure. The Raikage would be the spear, and he would provide the boost.
Seeing this, the Raikage didn't hesitate. Lightning surged across his body once more as he rushed toward Susanoo. By now, Susanoo had already begun rapidly repairing itself. In an instant, the damage Minato caused had nearly vanished.
"Raitō Ninja Encounter: Suto Raitō!"
"Earth Release! Super–Added-Weight Rock Technique!"
Added-Weight Rock could generate crushing earth pressure through earth-nature chakra. When applied to the human body, it dramatically increased their gravitational weight. Ōnoki's plan was to make the Raikage's punch exponentially heavier—and far more destructive.
With Ōnoki's support, that reinforced punch slammed into Susanoo.

The force of the blow was terrifying. Madara narrowed his eyes slightly. He had already recognized the strike's power. Ordinarily, the Raikage's fist couldn't have harmed him. But boosted by the Super–Added-Weight Rock Technique, this punch shattered Susanoo outright—its bones and armor bursting apart from a single strike.
"Well done, Lord Raikage. Lord Earth Shadow."
"Gold Dust Burial!"
"Got you!"
The moment Susanoo broke, enormous amounts of Gold Dust surged up from beneath Madara's feet. The Gold Dust wrapped around him at extreme speed, slowly shaping into a pyramid.
"Kushina!"
"Here! Adamantine Sealing Chains!"
As the pyramid solidified, Kushina immediately bound it with her Adamantine Sealing Chains, intending to suppress Madara inside. Only after everything was set did everyone finally breathe out in relief.
"Did we get him?"
"I'm not sure… it should've— No!"
"Over there! Madara Uchiha's chakra is still there!"
Just as they thought they'd succeeded, Kushina suddenly looked sharply into the distance, shock in her eyes. Because she could feel Madara Uchiha's chakra in the distance. And the Madara they had just sealed had that same chakra.
"Hehehe, as expected of the Uzumaki clan. Your Kagura Mind's Eye perception is indeed impressive."
"But that Wood Clone once fooled even me. Fooling you all is nothing."
Wood Clone? Those two words exploded in everyone's minds like thunder. The First Hokage's Wood Release? How was that possible?
"Don't believe it?"
"Then let me see how you plan to dance."

Madara Uchiha, standing far away, pressed his hands together as terrifying chakra surged out of him. The ground shook as countless roots burst upward, and like predators sensing prey, they surged toward the Five Kage.
"Damn it! It really is the First Hokage's Wood Release!"
"Don't panic! Set up a defensive line!"
"Kushina!"
Minato once again showed his fearlessness. Even with the enemy using Wood Release—an Uchiha using Wood Release—they had to defend now, or it would be too late.
As a sealing technique, the Adamantine Sealing Chains were incredibly versatile. Kushina quickly wrapped everyone within them, relying on their defensive power to withstand Madara's Nativity of a World of Trees.
"The Nine-Tails Jinchūriki is such a nuisance."
"Muren, aren't you going to do anything?"
While maintaining the assault, Madara looked toward the man beside him. Since earlier, Muren Uchiha hadn't moved at all, despite saying he wanted to stretch his body.
"You're having fun, aren't you?"
"I already sent Black Zetsu to find the One-Tails. When he s back, I'll catch it."
"Without the One-Tails, we can't start the ritual, right?"
Muren glanced at the two people at his feet and the Five-Tails lying behind them, a flash of ruthlessness in his eyes. He was getting impatient.
"True."
"Fine. We'll wait for Black Zetsu."
"I'll play with them a little longer."
The order for sealing the Tailed Beasts was fixed—from One-Tails to Nine-Tails. Not even Madara could change that. With the One-Tails missing, they could only wait.
His gaze returned to the battlefield. Thanks to the Adamantine Sealing Chains' protection, and the combined defenses of Rasa and Ōnoki, they had actually held back the Nativity of a World of Trees.
"You're the Five Kage, after all. If you couldn't even block this, that'd be embarrassing."
"So then—how will you respond next?"
As Madara spoke, he pressed his hands into a new seal. After fighting for so long, it was rare to see him actually form a hand seal. A moment later, Susanoo appeared once more. This time, it didn't attack—it copied Madara's posture and formed the same seal.
Just as the Five Kage were feeling a moment of relief for holding the line…
The sky suddenly went dark.
They immediately looked up—and what they saw made their pupils tremble violently.
