Chapter 362: Chapter 223: The Museum’s Prize Exhibit, a Master Sliver Creation [Part 3]
If someone is the type that Henry Chapman doesn’t like, encountering Henry would be nothing short of a disaster for them.
She heard from Pedro Langley that after she and Pedro left the Scott family that day, Henry pulled a stunt of "asking for the birthday gift back," which directly angered Aaron Scott into the hospital.
Among the people Nora Scott knows, probably only Henry could do such a thing with a straight face and such confidence, right?
...
Hotel, second-floor restaurant.
The shooting of "Searching for the City’s Secret" should have concluded, and they all returned to the hotel to eat. Nora Scott and Katherine Collins had just arrived at the restaurant and saw quite a few people, with most of them being their staff.
There were also a few participating celebrities.
"Should we move to another place?"
Katherine Collins asked Nora Scott softly.
It was fine for both of them, but if Henry was found, it would be a bit... not ideal.
After pausing briefly, Nora Scott made a decision, "It’s okay, we’ll choose a spot in the corner."
Henry’s personal aura was too different from the impression he gave to the outside world; as long as he didn’t reveal himself completely, the risk should be minimal.
Besides, everyone had been very busy all day. At this moment, everyone was focused on their own meals. No one would be looking around, checking out everyone’s appearance.
"Alright then."
Katherine Collins nodded.
The second floor was a buffet. The two of them picked a heap of food, then chose a corner spot with one side by the window and the other against the wall, and sat down.
But, after just two minutes—
Luna Durant, Isabella Hart, and another female celebrity came over with very little food to the table next to theirs.
"We have to watch the puppet show tonight and then learn puppetry, the task is heavy. We’ll have to work overtime these days again," the female celebrity complained.
Isabella Hart smiled lightly and asked, "When you film this reality show, do you actually learn it seriously?"
"Of course," the female celebrity shook her head, "I’m okay, I’ve only signed on for three episodes. Once this episode is done, I’ll be free. Luna has been filming for two seasons."
"You’ll get used to it."
Luna Durant answered calmly, biting into a cherry tomato.
Isabella and the female celebrity instinctively glanced at her hand—wearing silk gloves, hiding the skin that had been burned.
It was no secret among the crew that Luna Durant couldn’t cook and almost blew up the kitchen, but Luna pretended like nothing happened, so they didn’t bring it up.
Everyone knew Luna Durant was privately spoiled and capricious, but outwardly polite in interactions, so no one would call it out.
The atmosphere was awkward for a few seconds.
Then, the female celebrity thought of a topic and suddenly asked, "By the way, do you know what the trump card of the Trump Puppet Museum is?"
"Is it the one that was exhibited at the national exhibition?" Isabella Hart’s eyes brightened, and she nodded eagerly, "I’ve heard of it. It’s said that the Trump Puppet Museum’s reputation is somewhat tied to it. I wonder if we can see it tonight?"
The female celebrity smiled, "If you want to see it, you definitely can. Besides the regular puppet shows that attract tourists, the Trump Puppet Museum also offers this trump card for viewing."
"I heard it’s a puppet that can transform through mechanical operations?"
"Hmm."
"Can we see it?"
Isabella Hart asked, full of interest.
Beside her, Luna Durant sneered, "No, you can’t. To demonstrate the mechanical parts, you need the museum proprietor’s consent. If it’s shown every time to visitors, the mechanical parts would have been damaged long ago."
Isabella was taken aback and asked, "Even when we’re filming the reality show, the proprietor won’t agree?"
At this point, the female celebrity glanced at Luna and then at Isabella, and proactively said, "Indeed. At first, when the production team communicated with the proprietor, he didn’t agree."
Isabella seemed a bit disappointed but quickly realized something was off, "At first?"
"Yes," the female celebrity nodded and began to praise Luna Durant, "We have to thank our Luna. She found a way to convince the proprietor, and once tomorrow’s performance concludes, he agreed to allow the puppet to be shown once."
