Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability-Chapter 2765: 2765: Out of Sight, Out of Mind

Chapter 2765

Capítulo 2765: Chapter 2765: Out of Sight, Out of Mind
“Generous? You think inner cores and Original Soul Stones don’t cost anything?”
Old Lin jumped at his words. Although he didn’t spend any inner cores or Original Soul Stones, he had to work for those two.
Climbing up to those two has its benefits, but working for them carries risks. Whether it’s Feng Tang or Yiin Hao, they could crush him with just a flick of their fingers!
Did he really think the fruits in his hands just fell from the sky?
“I spent a lot of inner cores and Original Soul Stones, and even threw in my old face, to get these fruits. These were pried out of Gong Cheng’s two nephews’ mouths!”
“Tsk tsk.”
The guard clicked his tongue twice.
They always say how Gong Cheng’s two nephews are truly lucky. Everyone knows they’re not Qian Jiyun and An Jiuyue’s biological sons; they were adopted.
Yet, their treatment is incredible, and their cultivation level is high.
They’re only ten years old, and their cultivation level is already higher than these guards. Plus, the two don’t need to suppress their cultivation, since they have a father who can take them away from Huayan Peak anytime!
“Old Lin, have you heard any news about those two? When are they coming back?”
“How would I know? Gong Cheng is tight-lipped.”
Old Lin pouted, thinking to himself, they’re already back, but I’m just not going to tell you. What can you do to me?
“But, I heard Gong Cheng say he’s been running around a lot lately, maybe… I don’t know anything, just guessing.” He didn’t say anything concrete, waving a hand in front of the guard.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a glimpse of clothing not far off and smirked. That was Feng Tang; he saw him.
“Don’t you have to run even more? The more Gong Cheng runs, the more good stuff he can get, right?” The guard’s eyes brightened. He wondered if he could manage a few bites of real food.
Lately, any good stuff in the camp was given to that little ancestor, yet even so, the kid wasn’t satisfied and kept causing trouble.
“Isn’t that the truth.”
Old Lin casually replied, glanced at the basket of fruits in his arms.
“Do you want it? If not, I’ll take it back.” Before leaving, he asked the guard this.
“Take it, take it. Out of sight, out of mind.”
How could the guard dare to take it? Snatching food from the Little Prince’s mouth—wasn’t he afraid of dying?
If that little ancestor found out, once they returned to the plane, wouldn’t he skin him alive for a few fruits? It’s simply not worth it.
Besides, with just such a basket, how much could he take? At most, one to satisfy a craving.
Next time, next time, he’d go and see if there are any fruits Gong Cheng might sell to him. Then, he’d eat them all by himself, not sharing with anyone.
Old Lin saw him leave and pouted as he walked off too.
After they left, Feng Tang came out of a corner not far away, watching Old Lin’s departing back with a deep gaze.
Who knows what this guy knows—maybe he could get some information on Qian Jiyun and An Jiuyue from him, like when they’ll return.
An inter-plane traveler not being on his own turf for years—it’s understandable that certain people are developing ideas to claim Huayan Peak for themselves.
